Takashi screams for his nephews to run out of there. Facing both Zeus and a traitorous Hera was a suicidal move. He calls out for anyone to stop this madness. Although he could bring them back, more losses can break him.

Hera aims her fist at Heracles. A pressurized tremor flies out only to be blocked by Perseus' shield. The metal reverberates before being tossed away from the impact. Heracles twirls the trident and plunges it into a recovering Zeus.

She floats down while waving a hand forward. Captain Cheli and his men fire off a volley of hydro arrows at Heracles, Perseus, and even her own husband!

Zeus' eyesight returns to find his beloved attacking them with a tidal wave. A large shadow casts over them while white foam horses gallop. Soldiers hop on them to assist the Queen of Atlantis.

The king crackles out a lightning bolt to end them all within a single strike. From the left side of the crashing water, a tremor punch of a Level 11 Richter scale decimates him. He rolls along the ground before stopping.

He stops a slice of water with is bare hands to stop her next attack. She stomps her feet to push the sons of Zeus into the mouth of Charybdis!

The sea worm swallows them whole to Takashi's horror. Tears hit the colorless floor as he can't save them.

"Please. Please. Let me save them!"

A cold dark hand touches his back. He spins around and can't find anyone there. That same hand returns on his chest. Not to harm him, but to help. The image of the moon pops in his mind.

"Nyx? Is that you?"

His enhanced hearing picks up her voice. Nothing what he expected of one that terrifies Zeus. Although weak, her voice is sweet as a good night kiss.

"I...can't help out much...because of him. Can't talk...too much. Take this."

He notices the obsidian aura entering his body. He accepts all that he can get from her.

"I will free you, Nyx! I'm going to bring you and everyone back! I promise!"

Her black hand drops into the nothing. His FF3 form wavers from the addition of power. Something bubbles out of his throat. A volcano of a scream shatters the trap.

Zeus and Hera stop in the middle of their fight with hearts that sink to their stomachs. The black of Nyx's power wraps around Taki's FF3 body as armor for his chest, back and legs. He fires off slashes with his dual swords.

The couple dodges the black-emerald slashes; however, the shadows of the attacks did something unexpected.

Their steps stagger upon touching the ground. Like a wave of drunkenness hit them. Seeing more than double of Takashi Watanabe. The sight of golden aura cracking through the beast gives him partial relief as he engages the two of them.

Blood splatters from the underside, making Charybdis roar out. Soldiers back away as crimson iron flows out from the sharp strikes before a gaping hole comes out. A slimy Heracles has Perseus in his arms before jumping away. The sea worm's body collapses. Soldiers lose their footing from the loss of their asset.

Captain Cheli leads them forward to keep attacking.

Hera's plant sword materializes to block the blow, but the second-hand blade cuts across her chest. The short sword piercing into the ribs of the King. 

Hera throws a tremor punch at Taki, only for him to push Zeus as a shield. The god-king spits out a bolt. The impact knocks them all back. The Queen stomps her foot. A large circle is drawn into the ground. She pushes her hands down with flaring white-indigo aura. Zeus feels the pressure on his back, but Takashi's aided speed gets him out.

His next slice goes for her ribcage to deliver a fatal blow--the face of the terrified fish woman halts him. He speeds around her to deliver a back swing to the neck. He stops his blade from going through the woman. Her fishbowl eyes beg him to stop for her sake.

He backs away in confusion until he realizes the meaning behind the red bracelets. The blades tremble from the goddess using an innocent person as a hostage.

"Let her go!", he demands with a voice that brings nightmares for the goddess. 

She smiles it off while brushing the top of the fish maiden's head. "We made a deal. She wanted to do it."

"Please don't kill me!"

"I'm going to get you out of this!"

The fish maiden's heart is unsettled by the kindness of the distorted individual.

He aims his dark slashes at the Olympian king. Golden ichor paints the ground like a Pollock painting. Zeus' eyes turn black from the pain of Nyx's darkness. He can't hear nor see what was happening around him.

Heracles deflects the volley of hydro arrows from the soldiers while lending Percy some healing aura.

"Stop this! You cannot be happy serving her!"

Although hatred is in the eyes of the sea creatures against them, Heracles senses they are being forced to serve Hera's will. Like there was no choice but to submit to her overwhelming power.

He leaps away with his brother while deflecting their projectiles. 

Takashi steps away while keeping his eyes forward. He unleashes the mix of green and black to prevent the soldiers from moving a muscle. The eel captain and his lobster subordinate, Ataskos, try not to kneel from the pressure of this strange foreigner.

The darkness of Nyx's "armor" around him reveals something. How Hera subjugated them while killing off two of their compatriots.

"Do you not want vengeance for what she did to them?!"

The eel's eyes narrow at him. As if to say yes.

"Then help me!"

The lobster attacks with a vicegrip that he dodges. "We will never serve a filth-"

"SHUT UP!"

The aura around him bubbles like a beast wanting to consume them all. Taki exhales before letting that energy manifest.

"Help me and I will help you. Zeus nor Hera should rule over you. They are tyrants who don't care about anyone but themselves. Look at your friend", he points his blade.

Seeing Psari with the red bracelet amplifies their hatred for Hera. The Queen senses the hostility. She directs her lavender aura to intimidate them into submission. To her surprise, gold, black, and green spark against hers. Refusing it from advancing further.

She grits her teeth. "You stupid creatures! I promised you that Atlantis would prosper and you will throw that away?!"

She deflects an electric bolt with a flower shield. Zeus' eyes are back to blue. Taki figures the enhanced attacks are temporary. He can't let Nyx's powers go to waste.

Zeus zips around to end Percy's life with an electrifying punch. Taki's blades clash against his fist before cutting the hand off!

The king spits out an electric bolt at Heracles.

Captain Cheli jumps in his way to intercept the attack! His tail sticks to the ground, absorbing the voltage before sending it right back!

Zeus staggers backwards, amused that the Atlantean is standing his ground.

His subordinates, in awe of his courage, fire their hydro arrows at the King!

He backs away from the projectiles but gets hit by the charged beam of his little brother. Black waves of the goddess bring back the haunting memories of why he locked her away. The one threat that he couldn't kill.

The beam envelops him. Steam emanates as his energy dwindles from the damage received. Takashi feels his limit coming to an end from what he had to do. He waves his swords to entrap Zeus's arms into darkness. He places his hands on his body to take the other half of his father's powers.

Heracles stays with him while Percy rushes towards Hera. She fires off several tremor punches that he dodges with his keen eyesight. He throws his shield while holding back his strength. The queen goes to grab it, but a motion of his fingers bashes her in the head. The fish maiden hadn't been used as a hostage.

He figures it out. Beating Hera into submission is now his goal. "Fire away from the vital points!"

The soldiers reluctantly trust him. As he blocks a tremor punch, a hydro arrow lands through the queen's ankle. She cries out from the pain while Psari is unharmed. They continue to fire with that logic in mind.

Zeus breathes heavily as Takashi receives knowledge from Nyx's darkness. He seeks the space ability....and nothing. He tries again.

The king's laughter sends chills down his spine. "I know something you don't know."

Taki shrugs it off, thinking he's trying to get into his head. Nothing's working. Nyx's darkness begins to leave him. The ability of space is found, but it's not coming to him. His body wavers between stable and instability.

He tries to force it with a pull, but it remains within Zeus. Heracles yanks him back--

Squelch!

More blood added to the battlefield thanks to Hera. A spore she threw at Taki enters Heracles' orifices. The spore grew into a tree of beautiful horror with branches decorated with the hero's blood. Pieces of skin fall near Takashi's trembling body. His jaw drops with a wail of heartache.

Perseus jams his shield into Hera's throat, gagging her. He jumps onto her and pins her arms to the ground with piercing blues that want to cut her open. Heavy tears drip onto her face.

"Release her, now!"

Because of the loss of Heracles, Taki didn't notice Zeus' body sparking up until it's too late. The wave of electricity spreads over him. The surge incinerates every soldier. Perseus blocks with his shield, but the voltage overtakes him. Because of the unbreakable vow, Psari protects Hera. They scream as it tears them apart molecule by molecule.

Taki tries to run, but his body collapses. He tries to crawl, but his nephew and the innocent maiden turn to ashes. Endless tears stream down. He failed again to protect Hestia and Artemis. And now he's all alone.

Zeus ignores the weeping Takashi to end things with his wife. She materializes a tree trunk that encircles around his ankle before delivering a spear hand that outmatches Poseidon's power. 

She realizes it's a clone and turns. The reformed hand of Zeus spears her through the abdomen. He restrains her hands to shock her with a lovable embrace. After he's done, she cries from not avenging Ares and Hephaestus. The king strokes her face as her breaths go shallow.

"We could have ruled Earth and Gaia together. Why did you make me do this? I felt our child in you. We can't save him. It's all your fault."

Genuine tears fall out of the narcissistic god before he kisses her good-bye. He gently lays her down. Her tears flow to add back to the ocean while her body turns into beautiful flowers.

Taki manages to get to a kneeling position. His body twitches from the aftereffects. The energy inside him wants to lash out for Zeus' actions. He taps his chest. "Zone. FF3!"

His feet rush with tears falling behind him. He swings recklessly as the god pushes away with just his fingers. A single kick to his ribs breaks them. A lightning slap knocks him to the ground.

He goes to get up, but the foot of the 8 ft Olympian pins him while throwing his blades away.

Snap. Snap.

A delayed moment before a torturous scream pierces the sky. Zeus broke his arms with his stomps.

"You are going to listen to what I ha-"

The black aura of a deity terrifies him. He thought Nyx had escaped.

The wings of Hypnos flap rapidly. His eyes set on making things right.
