Jareth Eden' s POV

The battle was over. Flare was finally gone. I looked around, and there was damage everywhere. The castle looked in even worse shape than we saw before.

I was still in shock. The whole battle was just a slap in the face from my brother. I ran over to Roselea. Color came back to her face, her dreaded form faded but her clothes were too mature for my daughter.

I took a crystal and changed her clothes. She was now in her more comfortable clothes, and more covered up than she was before.

"Roselea? Please speak to me..." I said softly.

"Roselea, you did it. You finally got Flare! You finally defeated him." I said and then I notices the rod. Dren, she still had that rod in her.

"Jareth! I need some help over here!" I yelled and he came right over.

"Oh no. I'll try to pull it out." He said as I held my daughter in my arms. He tugged, but he didn't want to hurt Roselea.

"Come on, Jareth, you can do it. She needs that rod out of her." Jareth nodded.

"I just don't want to hurt her, Jareth."

"You said it yourself, she is a strong girl. She can take it. Just do it, for her." Jareth nodded and whispered a soft sorry and yanked out the rod from her arm. Her arm started bleeding profusely, her white sleeves turning red. Jareth tore the arm of his shirt as started wrapping it around Roselea's arm to stop the bleeding.

I then made a crystal appear and held it to her wound. The crystal glowed green in my hand as I held it to where she was stabbed.

This healing was tiring me, but I would rather pass out from lack of magic to save my daughter than unable to wake her up.

"Wake up, Roselea. Flare is gone. We have won." Jareth told her as he tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear.

Roselea then came to and she stopped my healing magic.

"Father... is that you?"

I hugged her and she winced in pain.

"Dren that hurts!"

"Roselea..."

"Sorry..." she said as she lightly laughed. Then winced after she moved her arm a bit.

"Take it easy, Roselea. You just were possessed by your evil uncle who almost tried to kill us all."

Suddenly Roselea's color went away from her cheeks. She was white as a sheet. Her eyes started to water and tears streamed down her face.

"Roselea, I didn't mean to make you cry. I was... oh don't you cry on me..." Jareth said as he gave her a hug. She then pushed away a bit and looked in the direction where the Sarahs were.

"Sarah..." she said and she ran over.

Sarah Everild was on the ground, trying to help Sarah Williams. We all ran over and Roselea looked at Sarah Williams.

"Oh Sarah... I didn't mean for this to happen. I was too weak... I couldn't stop him." Then Sarah Everild tried to calm her down.

"Roselea, it's not your fault. Flare did this."

"But I watched everything! I couldn't do anything but watch!" She started to freak out.

"Its like I was bound in my own head! I could only watch as you all fought me. It's all my fault..."

"No, It's not. You can fix this. You are an answer to this problem." Sarah said as she grabbed Roselea's shoulders and talked to her.

"You can fix this. Take a deep breath and help her."

Roselea nodded as she did as she was told. Once she gained composure, she started taking care of the situation.

"I need something to put in the puncture area." Then I took off my coat and tore off my white shirt sleeves. Jareth tore his other sleeve and Roselea started using the sleeves to cover the area.

"Father, hold this here and apply pressure. Jareth, do you have magic left? No magic fatigue like my father?"

"I feel fine."

"Good, you will be helping me with some healing magic."

"Why?"

"Because, Sarah needs more magic than a Fae to be healed and she needs it fast. I could try to do it on my own, but I might even become fatigued when trying to heal Sarah. That's why I need you."

"I'm not really the healing magic person."

"Don't worry. You are just going to transfer magic to me when I become fatigued. You are an energy source just in case."

Jareth Everild nodded as Roselea took his hands.

She started saying spells in the ancient Fae language as crystals appeared around Sarah. The orbs turned green and started floating. It was a beautiful sight to see orbs circling around Sarah.

The orbs circled for awhile as Roselea kept speaking in the Fae tongue. Then both of them started showing signs of fatigue. Which the other Sarah and I started telling Roselea and Jareth about. Roselea then stopped and the crystals disappeared.

"Did it work?" She lifted my hands from Sarah Williams' abdomen and we saw just a little scar.

"At least the bleeding has stopped." I said but Roselea still looked worried.

"Yes, but she still is not awake..."

"Give it time, Roselea. She is not like the Fae, she needs her rest anyways." Sarah Everild said as she stood up.

"We should get going, Father. I want to go home."

I nodded and I picked up Sarah Williams and we walked out of the castle.

Roselea's POV

We were back on our horses, riding back the direction we came. I was closely watching my Father and Sarah Williams. Sarah still had not awoken from her slumber.

I kept worrying. Would she be okay? Did I save her? Or is she going to parish...

"We should try to set up camp for the night!" I said and we all stopped. My Father then started to make up the tents for the night. Sarah Everild and I tended to Sarah while Jareth started getting firewood.

"How is your arm, Roselea?"

"Still broken. It hurts alot when I move it just right." I said as I held my arm. I summoned a crystal and started healing that spot.

The pain was now gone and my arm was fully fixed.

"There, all better. Now let me try to see if I can heal Sarah more."

"I don't think she needs it. She had a pulse, she is breathing. She is just in a coma like state. We just need to watch over her for right now."

I still wondered why Sarah Williams jumped in front of Sarah Everild. The Fae Sarah was immortal, just like Jareth,my Father, and I. Well, we could heal faster, but we didn't die as easily as humans. Basically we were immortal, to a certain extent.

Then Jareth came back with firewood and sat down next to his wife.

He held her tight, kissing her and so glad he had her in his arms again. It was beautiful.

I walked away to leave the love birds alone and started trying to make a fire. Once I stuck the flint and steel together, there was a roaring fire.

As I backed away, I started to feel the warmth of the fire. I yawned and rubbed my eyes. I was tired, but I needed to stay awake for Sarah Williams.

Once the tents were set up, my father set Sarah Williams in the tent I went in and I kept watching Sarah.

"I'll keep watch of the fire. If you need anything, tell me." I nodded as my father closed the tent. I kept watching Sarah closely as my eyes started to close.

Sarah William's POV

I woke up in a tent, Roselea beside me was asleep. I tried not to disturb her while I headed out of the tent. I found Jareth sitting on a log, drinking from a tin cup.

"Jareth?"

"Sarah? You're awake! I'm so..." and he stopped right there.

"What happened?" I said, trying to change the subject.

"We just got out of the castle. We are are a long ways away from the Labyrinth."

"Oh. Where is everyone else?"

"They needed sleep, so they are in the other tent. Roselea was watching over you. She was worried."

"Worried? Why?"

"She thought all of that was her fault."

"But she was possessed."

"Yes, but she still blames herself." Jareth said as he poured some liquid from a tin kettle into his cup.

"Want some tea? I made a fresh pot."

"Yes please." And he handed me a cup filled with tea.

"I was worried about you too, you know." And I looked at him. His gaze was set on the fire.

"Really?"

"Yeah. I haven't been worried like that in years." He said. I could just still feel the shock in his voice. He still had not truly comprehended what happened. Neither have I.

Suddenly he grabbed my shoulders.

"Why did you do that, Sarah? You could have died. You worried all of us." I saw a tear roll down his cheek.

"I needed to."

"But you could have died. Roselea couldn't see you again. I couldn't see you again."

"You actually care about me?"

And then Jareth kissed me. The kiss had that beautiful spark. I actually felt like this kiss was right.

He pulled away.

"I'm sorry if that was uncalled for or..." and I cut him off with my kiss. We embraced as the flames burned bright.

"So you do actually love me?" Jareth asked.

"I think I might be crazy, but yes I do love you." And we kissed under the stars.
