Neil came down thinking something and smiles shyly. Neela ma who was sitting on a couch in living room frowned seeing him blushing.

Neela: kya baat hai baccha bohot blush kar rahe ho mene toh socha tha aaj ghar main mahabharat hogi tumhare aur avni ke beech.

Neela said teasing him, neil clears his throat and sat beside her.

Neil: laga toh mujhe bhi ese he tha neela ma but avni ko pata nahi kya ho gaya hai. Ek dam bacchi jesa behave kar rahi hai

Neela frowned listening him. Neil told her everything how avni was crying and was craving for food. Neela thinks something and looked at neil.

Neela: neil don't mind can I ask you something personal?

Neil: of course neela ma aap puchiye

Neela: kya tumhare aur avni ke beech vo husband aur wife wala relation hai? Tum samajh rahe ho na main kya keh rahi hu?

Neil widened his eyes and looked down shyly. He only nodded not meeting her eyes. Neela chuckled looking at him.

Neela: kahi avni pregnant toh nahi?

Neil looked at neela in surprise. He thinks something than smiles widely.

Neil: kya sach main maa, but how can you be so sure?

Neela: maa hu main mujhe sab pata chal jaata hai.

Neil: oh God avni pregnant aur main papa ban ne wala hu

He whispered feeling overwhelmed with the fact that avni is pregnant and they will soon going to become a parents.

Neela: neil abhi tak yeh confirm nahi hua hai. Tumhe avni ko hospital le jaana chahiye check up ke liye.

Neil: haa maa pehle main lady don ka order kiya hua khana to le aau nahi toh vo mujhe kaccha chaba jayegi.

They laughed and neil went from there while neela ma prayed for them.

In avneil's room.

Avni get up from the bed and kept her both hands on her waist.

Avni: ye neil ko kitna time lag gaya. Ek toh yaha mujhe itni craving ho rahi hai aur ye hai ki itna time laga raha hai. Main hi jaakar dekhti hu.

She went from there to find neil. She was passing by juhi's room and heard her weird laugh. Avni frowned and stood closely to listen her talks.

Inside juhi's room. She was talking on phone.

Juhi: bilkul hamne jese plan kiya tha sab kuch vesa hee ho raha hai. Neil aaj avni se bohot gussa hai aur usne sab ke saamne avni ko Daanta sirf mere liye. Ab tumhari baari hai hame ye tab tak karna hai jab tak dono ke beech misunderstandings nahi ho jaati.

She started laughing loudly. Avni was fuming hearing her dirty plan.

Avni: toh ye sab iska idea tha mere aur neil ke beech ladayi karvane ka. Beta juhi jis school main tum padhi ho na uski headmaster reh chuki hu main. Tujhe toh ab main bataungi.

Before she could go inside she started feeling nausea. She cupped her mouth and ran towards their room. Inside washroom she started throwing up everything she had in the morning. Neil came inside the room smiling looking for avni. Hearing some sounds in the washroom he frowned and ran inside. He saw avni standing holding the sink for support.

Neil stood behind her and held her in his arms. He tapped her cheeks she was looking very pale and tired. Her eyes were closed. Neil picked her up and took her outside of the washroom.

He laid her down on bed and rubbed her palm looking at her worried.

Neil: avni kya hua? Akhen kholo avni

She opened her eyes slowly and looked at neil with her half open eyes. She got up, neil helped her to sit properly adjusting the pillow behind her.

Neil: kya ho gaya achanak? Tumhari tabiyat toh thik hai?

Avni: haa neil I'm fine just feeling tired rest karungi toh thik ho jaungi

Neil: hmm chalo doctor ke pass chalte hai

Avni: no need neil mene bola na thik ho jaungi

Neil: avni it's not what you think

Avni: matlab

Neil: matlab may be you are pregnant. Neela ma ne bhi bataya ke chances hai aur hame check up kara lena chahiye.

Avni looked at him numb. She kept her hand on her tummy and smiles through tears.

Avni: sacchi

Neil: abhi kuch keh nahi sakte hame jaana hoga hospital tabhi confirm hoga.

She nodded biting her lips. This news gave her a different feeling from inside.

Neil stood up and picked her up, avni shook her head.

Avni: neil it's ok I can walk please niche utaro mujhe

Neil: nahi halat dekhi hai tumne apni kitni weak ho gayi ho.

She smiles and he started walking with her in his arms. Juhi who saw them going outside fumed watching avni in his arms.

Avni was giggling looking at neil while he was cracking some jokes.

Juhi: har plan fail kar dete hai mera ye dono mujhe laga tha kuch dino tak baat nahi karenge ek dusre ke saath par nahi ugh.

She went from there mumbling something.

Later avneil reached hospital and were waiting for their turn to come. Beside them a pregnant lady was sitting with her husband.

Avni looked at her then at her baby bump. She smiles looking at that. Neil observed avni and whispered in her ears.

Neil: kuch mahino baad tum bhi esi hee dikhne lagogi

Avni: accha how can you be so sure?

Neil: I know everything

Avni shook her head and gripped his hand tightly. Neil rubbed her hands he knew she is nervous.

A nurse came out from the cabin.

Nurse: mrs avni neil Khanna?

Neil stood up nodding at her. He held avni's hand tightly and blinked his eyes assuring her.

Avni took a deep breath and nodded. They went inside and took a sit in front of doctor.

Doctor: how are you mrs Khanna?

Avni: am good doctor

Doctor: good so let's go inside

Avni: yes

Doctor and avni stood up. Avni looks at neil, he blinked his eyes and kissed her knuckles.

After sometime avni with doctor came out. She was smiling widely. Neil looks at her and raised his eyebrows asking her.

They took a seat and doctor spoke grabbing Neil's attention.

Doctor: congratulations mr Khanna your wife is pregnant and you are going to be a father.

Neil smiles and looked at avni. Both had tears in their eyes. He looked at doctor saying her to continue.

Doctor : she is 2 weeks pregnant and you have to be a very careful with her. I will give you a chart of her diet and you have to maintain that. And yeah make sure she doesn't take stress much its harmful to her and baby.

Neil: yes doctor I will be more careful. Thank you so much.

Doctor: it's my pleasure

They came out from cabin and goes to parking area. Neil looked at avni and hugged her tightly kissing her hair and cheeks. He was also in tears feeling their love is growing inside her. Avni buried her face in his neck sobbing. Neil frowned feeling wetness on his neck.

He broke the hug and cupped her face.

Neil: avni why are you crying huh. Ye toh kitni khusi ki baat hai.

Avni: ( crying) main ro nahi rahi hu neil ye toh khusi ke aansu( tears ) hai.

Neil kissed her forehead and hugged her rubbing her back. After sometimes they parted and pecked her nose.

Neil: thank you so much for giving me this little angel.

He said touching her tummy.

Avni: aur agar devil hua toh?

Neil chuckled.

Neil: toh am sure voh tum par hi jaayega.

Avni pouts and hit him on his chest. He giggles and pulled her closer.

Neil: ab chale ghar par bhi toh sabko ye news deni hai.

Avni noded and smiles.

He made her sit on the passenger seat carefully and sat on the driver seat. He was about to start the engine but avni interrupted him

Avni: neil mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai

Neil: haa bolo

Avni told everything that she had heard outside of juhi's room. Neil clutched the steering wheel tightly and looked away.

Avni: neil ab kya karenge hum

Neil: jo bhi karunga main karunga. Tum bas khaogi, rest karogi aur bas rest karogi.

Avni: arey pura din rest karke kya karungi?

Neil: avni please I don't want you to take tension it's not sat for you and baby.

Avni: aww abhi se itni fikar

Neil: haa toh papa ban ne wala hu haq hai mera aur chuhi ke saath jo karna hai main karunga

Avni started laughing hearing chuhi

Avni: chuhi? Oh God neil

Neil: aur haa ham ye pregnancy wali baat bhi usse nahi batayenge tum usse jitna dur rahogi utna accha hai

Avni: okay ab chale

Neil: haa

He started the car and they drove from there.
