It was bright day in  Mithila.  the mother nature was dancing on the tunes of cuckoo. The peacocks were swaying their feathers around . The mother cows started to give more and more milk.  there was sadness to in mithila's happiness because it was soon going to see the departure of it's four daughters.

Yesterday was haldi ceremony of remaining three couples . brides and grooms were now  only supposed to see each other on the marriage day hence haldi  of remaining three couples happened separately and Lakshman  did not get chance to see his Mila since that day .

yesterday he got a letter from his mother telling him how happy she is to welcome her four brides and specially for her stubborn son Lakshman that he got Urmila for himself.

Today was mehndi of four couples . four daughters of Mithila adored their hands and legs  with traditional mehndi designs of Mithila , hiding their respective husband's name in their palms.

Four Princes of Ayodhya too put mehndi on there  palms for ritual along with writing their brides name.  it was surprise for them!

right now , the sisters were sitting in their parent's room , reviving  their last moments  in there home.

And do you know how angry Mandvi went when Urmila cut her hair?  asked sita  and another round of laughter occurred in room.

Gosh!  these two girls since childhood they have been fighting like cat and dog,  said chandrabhaga hiting both of them on their heads.

this rakshasi is the one who initiats fight every time said Urmila hitting Mandvi by her shoulder .

you stupid,  don't you dare to trouble me you are the one who fights every time said Mandavi.

Uffo,  these girls !" Mandvi and Urmila now you both are going to be daughters in law.  you would be with your mother's in law and they will not bear your tantrums, you will not be  the same carefree girls but had to be responsible daughters in law.  your mothers and fathers will not be there to correct you or scold you so you  have to be each other's strength and never do anything which would make them raise their finger on your Mithila or on your parents! even your bonds wouldn't be same as you all would be sisters in law from sisters.  you all would have some or  other marital problem and what not but never forget that you all are the flowers of same garden"  said  queen sunaina , making the joyful environment turn into emotional one

King Janak wiped his tears before anyone could see him.

pitaji , I don't want to go away from you all and and from  Mithila ' said shrutkirti hugging her father .

Khushdhwaj  pulled his daughter into an emotional hug.

Jiji, will they be able to take care of our flower like daughters just like us ? asked chandrabhaga in horse voice.

I  have made my daughters strong enough to face every challenge of life.  I know they will take my and mithila's name to new heights said King Janak looking at his four precious pearls with pride in his eyes.

  Four girls came towards janak  and hugged him.  soon the hug was joined by Sunaina, chandrabhaga and kushdhwaj.

"We have wedding tomorrow now go and sleep so that your faces don't look dull , go back to your  chambers " said sunaina kissing their foreheads .

four sisters went towards their chamber after greeting their parents.

Urmila was alone  in her room with her chikoo,  chikoo will you miss me when I would be gone ? asked Urmila hugging him close to her breast .

I know you will !  should I take you along   with me?  she asked .

No !  she heard  someone saying.

What!  chikoo ,  can you speak?  she asked exmaining him in shock .

hello it's me,  your soon to be husband' Lakshman said entering into her chamber through window .

soumitra ? Asked urmila going near him.

"  you should not have come here. we are not suppose to see each other before wedding " she said panicking .

who said ? he asked coming close to her .

rituals said ,  she replied .

Screw the rituals , I don't care ! I was missing you and I came here, he said pulling her closer.

She lowered her gaze in shyness.

why you said no?  will you not let me take chikoo along ? she asked with sight anger.

No, don't talk about him!  talk about me only ' he said nibbling her earlobe. A moan escaped her lips making him hold tighten around her.

not now Soumitra,  have patience!  she said pushing him and holding chikoo in her arms.

See that's why I don't like him , you don't give me any attention when he is around and why  the hell you are so much into love with this animal when your fiance is as handsome  as kaamdev' he said with the look of fake hurt on his face .

Ohhh Mahadev! You are jealous of an animal !  she said laughing at him.  he pouted seeing her reaction.

I will take him with me,  he is my baby she said kissing her chikoo.

Lakshman  Rolled  his eyes at her and set on her bed.

Mila come here!  he said lying down on his back.  she went to him,  sitting near him.

I am so happy ! he said kissing her mehndi inked hands.

I am too ! She whispered back

You will be mine for every life tomorrow!  I came to say you something,  he said getting up.

I am all ears ,  she replied coming more close to him.

Mila , we would have many fights , problems and misunderstanding in our relation.  we would disagree from each other sometimes  even I would say something in anger  and sometimes I would have to choose my duties  over you but you always remember that this Lakshman of yours is so much into  love with you, doesn't matter how much we fight whole day,  doesn't matter that we would have separate opinions from each other but at night I want us to be Soumitra and Mila.  I want you around me in my arms and if anything from my side or my family 's side triggers you then I assume that you will share that with me. I assume that this brave daughter of sridhwaj janak would voice out her opinions.  you will share all your good and bad times with me  at night " he said bringing tears at the corner of her eyes.

" Soumitra,  you too always remember that I love you and will love you forever . I will stand by you even after numerous fights or misunderstanding except "

she took a deep breath before continuing .

"Except  physical ,sexual or mental abuse and I will never compromise with my self respect because that is what my father taught me since childhood, I hope that you will respect me  just like Narayan respect his Lakshmi , I hope you will include me  in fullfiling all your Dharm just like Sheshnag includes his ksheer,  I hope you will be only mine even after miles of physical distance between us just like shiv is of his Shakti"  she said placing her head on his chest.

I promise my Mila I promise!  he said kissing her forehead.

They both laid in each other's arms till midnight , feeling each other .

Then Lakshman went back to  his Ashram and Urmila went  back to her sleep , waiting for the biggest day of their lives.
