History:
Not much is known aside from being raised on chivalry and very old gentleman rules, beliefs or standards. When he graduated Harvard University. He decided to follow his dream and become a professional wrestler. He graduated from Paul Levesque and Shawn Michaels' wrestling school and signed a developmental contract which after a year or two became a full fledged contract and was assigned to the Smackdown brand. Where he met the woman who would soon be his manager and love. CJ Perry. Known to the WWE Universe as Lana. The two hit it off so well that when things become heated between her and her husband Miroslav Barnyashev(Rusev).
He becomes CJ's safe harbor and her rock throughout the continuing animosity between CJ and Miroslav. The night after Survivor  Series, Rusev hauls off and strikes CJ which proves to be a Texas sized mistake. As Daniel jumps on Rusev and beats him bloody and then some. It takes three quarters of the entire locker room to pull him off of Rusev. CJ filed for divorce not long after and moved in with Daniel at his home in Hendersonville. (The story begins a little before Raw the following night after Survivor Series.)
