The preparation begins. It's time to take in all the information and get comfortable with how the Language Awards works. Imagine yourself in multicultural atmospheres and sharpen all your senses.

✾ September 1: The start ✾

There we go! The prompts are here! The doors to new worlds open and challenge you to use your creativity to create a brand new story/poem.

✾ September 1 - November 30: The contest✾

We've started the contest. Check out the prompts, taste the different cultures we've collected for you, and get started. Use your unbridled creativity and pay close attention to the deadlines!

✾ October 1 - October 7: Sign up for the promotion list✾

The competition has been going on for a while. Many writers will have already started their literary work. That means it's time to create a promotion list. Do you want to promote your story? Sign up for the promotion list! And don't worry, your literary work doesn't have to be finished. It just has to exist. All information about how to apply for the promotion list will be published in a new chapter of this book on October 1.

✾ October 7: The promotion list - deadline ✾

The last day to register for the promotion list has arrived. Don't forget to sign up if you want to advertise your work.

✾ October 15: Announcement promotion list ✾

The promotion list will be announced no later than October 15. That means everyone who has signed up and meets our guidelines can be found on this list. Are you still looking for your next favourite work? Then be sure to choose one of the works on the promotion list. Are you looking for talented artists? Look at the list. Are you looking for readers who might want to provide feedback on your work? You can find them on the promotion list.

✾ November 23 - November 30: Sign up ✾

After almost three months, our contest is slowly coming to an end. Now is the time to finish your literary work or make final adjustments to your cover. All information on how to enter the contest will be published on November 23. That would be such a bummer!

✾ November 30: Deadline ✾

The last minutes are slowly ticking away and then it's really time to submit your entry. Do this on time! All entries submitted after November 30 will no longer be eligible for the prizes. That would be

✾ December 1 - December 31: Judging ✾

The jury gets to work. During this month, the jury will go into a conclave to find winners for all awards. Of course, we won't leave you alone, because we have a few more fun activities for you as we survive this nerve-wracking time.

✾ January 7: The result ✾

There it is... The long-awaited result! The time of twiddling your thumbs and restless nights is over because this is the moment we've all been waiting for. The winners of the Language Awards will be announced on January 7.
