she is depressed that she cannot live a normal life with her daughter and her husband.

lives in delhi with her 2.5 year old son kush

she runs a small shop with her friend richa

she is often depressed about her sons condition as he has a severe  health condition.

she secretly wishes that her omkara will come and erase her miseries

she even tried to contact omkara when their son was born 

but she didnt get any response from him.

cousin of anika

doesnt have good intentions

she fell for omkara at first sight

thinks that she owns omkara

her main purpose is to fill shivaay's ears against anika

as she cannot see them togeather

she tries to picture anshi as her own daughter in front of shivaay and strives to  remove anikas existence from shivaays  life
