I apologise in advance for all of the time skipping. I have a lot I want to do and I want to keep the story moving along. :)

Aerlinniel POV

"What?!" Both Caunedhiel and Eruedraith exclaim at the same time and Caunedhiel adds, "There's no way."

I smile at them and say, "It is true. Tell me, what stories have you heard?"

~a few days later~

Caunedhiel and Eruedraith are Bilbo and I's new traveling companions. They have been telling me the stories they heard about the Kingdom. And, all of them are true.

They know about the King and Queen and how they had two tinus (daughters). They also knew that the oldest tinu was blind and that it was rumored that she survived along with a few others.

Some of the people who lived in the village had escaped. I had not known that they did. Some went to Rivendell and some went to the Woodland-Realm. But they have never met anyone actually from the Hidden Kingdom before.

"So where did you grow up in the Hidden Kingdom?" Caunedhiel asks me.

"I am not ready to talk about it yet. But, I promise I will tell you once we get there." I promise them.

"Can you at least tell us what happened to the Hidden Kingdom?" Eruedraith questions.

I give a small sigh and decide to tell them, "A dragon attacked the Kingdom. I had not know that anyone else survived, I was knocked out. For many years I thought I was the only survivor. That was until I found my sister at the Woodland-Realm. But, I had not know that other people had escaped too."

"Woah. That must have been hard for you. So, your parents didn't make it?" Eruedraith asks.

"Eruedraith!" Caunedhiel exclaims. "You shouldn't ask her that, it might be hard for her to talk about. Apologise to her."

"Sorry, Aerlinniel." He apologises.

"It is alright." I tell him and add, "And, yes. My parents did not make it."

~the next day~

We have finally made it to Fangorn and I was leading the way to the Hidden Kingdom. I know these woods so well, I did spend most of my life here. Eruedraith and Bilbo were talking when I heard a familiar shout.

"Legolas?" I whisper. "Please, can you both be quiet for a moment?"

They both go silent and I listen. I then hear his heartbeat, he is not far from here. There are many other heartbeats. Orcs. I give a gasp.

"What? What is it?" Bilbo question.

"It's Legolas." I tell him. "He's in trouble, I have to go help him. You all stay here and don't move. I will be right back."

I then run off towards Legolas. I catch up to the Orcs first. They have stopped and are talking, trying to figure out what they are going to do.

"The Elf-filth is injured. Me and you three can take him. The rest of you, head East." One of the Orcs commands.

Legolas is injured? I hope he's alright. He has to be. Most of the Orcs leave and the other four start looking for Legolas. I am going to wait a few minutes until I know that thee other Orcs are far enough away.

When their heartbeats sound faint, I charge towards the Orcs. I kill all of them easily. I listen for Legolas' heartbeat again and head towards it.

"Legolas!" I call out to him. "Legolas?"

"Aerlinniel?" I hear a weak sound Legolas question.

When I walk up to him, he trips and falls on to me. I lead him to a tree and I have him sit up against it.

"What happened?" I ask him, sitting down in front of him.

"I was traveling through when I heard a noise. That's when I was stabbed in the side with a sword. These Orcs came out of nowhere. I tried to fight them, but there was to many of them and my side was in so much pain. So, I ran." He explains. "Where are the Orcs now?"

"Don't worry about them. Most of them took off and I killed the four that stayed behind. Come with me, we need to get you help." I say and grab his hand, helping him up.

I put his arm over my shoulder and help him back to Bilbo, Caunedhiel, Eruedraith, and my horse. When we get there, I get Legolas up on my horse. I want to get him help, but I can't leave Bilbo.

"Aerlinniel, what happened?" Bilbo asks me.

"Not right now I'll tell you later. Legolas is injured and needs help." I tell him.

"Aerlinniel, you stay here. I can get help on my own." Legolas assures me.

"Are you sure you will be alright?" I ask him.

"Yes, but I better get going now. Thank you for letting me use your horse." He thanks me, then takes off.

I stand there for a moment before turning around. "Come on, let's go. We are almost there.

I am silent for the rest of the trip to the Hidden Kingdom. Bilbo tries to get me to talk, but I am too worried about Legolas.

Little did I know that was the last time I would see Legolas, and my horse, for a long time.
