" Goodnight."

" Goodnight too, Mr.Lee."

Sarang covered her body with the blanket and slept, facing the wall instead of facing Heeseung who was sleeping next to her. Sarang sighed and shut her eyes, forced herself to sleep because she felt nervous.

She slowly turned her body to face him and she was relieved when he was already sleeping peacefully. Sarang fixed her eyes at him, adoring him in silence while fixing the blanket on his body. She took a deep breath and took a chance to look at him in a close way.

" Such a beautiful human being."

Sarang muttered at him slowly and slept next to him. Heeseung suddenly moved his body closer to her making her surprised. She thought Heeseung was already waking up from his sleep but gladly, he was just changing his position with his eyes still shut tightly.

Again, she stared at him in silence and slowly reached her hand to touch his cheeks-

" Hina..."

She stopped.

" Hina..." Heeseung spoke up again.

" Hina..."

Sarang froze when her heart was beating fast. She felt really sad, knowing the guy she loved was calling for someone else in his sleeping. Sarang sighed and shut her eyes, decided to sleep instead of being emotional again.

  Sarang suddenly woke up at almost 3 in the morning when Heeseung was coughing several times. She looked at him anxiously and walked towards his study table to take his water and also medicine.

She slowly sat on the bed, used a pillow to wake Heeseung.

" Mr. Lee, drink this."

" or you will get more worst tomorrow."

Heeseung slowly opened his eyes and sat on the bed while drinking his water-

" You are sweating a lot."

" Do you want me to turn on the air conditioner?"

Heeseung nodded his head and Sarang quickly turned on the air conditioner before walking towards Heeseung again.

" Thank you." He said to her.

Sarang smiled and used a towel to wipe his sweats, " I hope you will feel better soon."

" You should sleep, Sarang. It's 3 in the morning."

Sarang shook her head,
" It's okay. I will take care of you tonight."

" I'm sorry for burdening you." Sarang shook her head again,

" It's okay." She shortly responds to him.

Heeseung slowly grabbed his phone after he got a notification. He swiped up the notification and suddenly became silent-

He bites his lips and suddenly threw the phone away causing Sarang surprised and looked at him anxiously,

" Hey, what's wrong?"

" Is this karma?" Heeseung asked Sarang with tears on his cheeks.

" Why? What happened?"

" Hina posted a picture of herself and her friends were enjoying their time together at the cinema..."

" She told me that she was feeling un-"

" She doesn't want to hurt you. That's why she lied to you. She doesn't want to burden you. That's why she spent her time with her friends to forget about her sadness."

Heeseung shook his head,
" She should tell me about it. So, I will go to my house instead of waiting for her."

" She doesn't have to lie..."

Heeseung cried more.

" Mr. Lee .."

" Don't be like this."

" Sleep first and discuss this with her soon. Everything will be okay." She talked to him softly to stop him from crying and after a minute, he finally stopped and covered himself with his blanket-

" Do you want to listen to my bedtime story?"
Sarang suddenly asked him causing Heeseung to look at Sarang blankly- Sarang lay next to Heeseung and faced him, smiling sweetly.

Sarang laughed,
"  There was a firefly. Do you know firefly?"

Heeseung nodded,
" It's an insect that will glow and light up at night."

"  The firefly was jealous. Her family and friends were able to fly but she- she couldn't even flap her wings since she was little. She felt sad because of that. She thought she would end up be the unlucky firefly ever but-

one day, a little human boy was really sad after getting rejected by someone he loved. He ran away, ran and ran until he found a firefly was struggling to fly.  He was surprised! It felt like a miracle to meet her because they faced a problem in their life on the same day and time."

" The boy was happy to meet the firefly. He asked her, Do you want to fly? I will help you. The boy suddenly put her on his shoulder and ran around the field while flapping his hand, pretending to fly with her. She was happy a lot and thanked the boy for helping her. She told him about her power that she actually could grant his wish. The boy was excited to hear that. He said to her,

I want someone I love to fall in love with me!

She granted his wish and helped him to get the girl he loved. The boy was happy like a lot you know? But-"

" But..?" Heeseung asked Sarang curiously.

" But without he knowing, her light was slowly fading away as she was overusing her power just to help the boy. She knew it would make her hurt but she still did it, just to make sure the boy got the girl he loved. She realized that she was just falling in love with that human boy!"

" She wanted to see him happy. So, she just sacrificed her life for him."

" What happened to her?" Heeseung asked Sarang and she laughed.

" The human boy got his love, of course! thanks to her. One day, the boy searched for her again. He searched for her for a few hours and he finally met her again at the place where they met for the first time  ."

" But she was dying. The boy cried and told her to be with him but there's no hope anymore. She told the boy, I will reborn as a human and search for you again!

The boy buried her and waited for her for several years, hoping he will meet a human version of her.

The boy was waiting for 20 years and became a veterinarian. One day, a girl went to his clinic while holding her puppy. He was confused as the girl knew his name but he ignored his weird thought and asked her about her puppy."

" What is your favorite insect? the girl suddenly asked him and he immediately answered, I like a firefly. The girl laughed,

I thought you forgot me.

The boy was surprised and quickly hugged her as tears rolled on his cheeks.

"I'm waiting for you for 20 years!"

" Did both of them end up together?" Heeseung asked Sarang with a smile while sniffing his nose.

" They ended up together as best friends."  Sarang chuckled and clapped her hand,

" You finally smile!"

Heeseung smiled again.

" Where did you get that nonsense story?"

" What do you mean by nonsense? It's cute."
Sarang pouted causing Heeseung to laugh.

" I want to tell my bedtime story to you too." Sarang nodded her head and waited for him to speak-

Heeseung cleared his throat,

" The boy."

" The boy was curious about her life. He wanted to know more about her."

" He is interested in her."

" He is interested to know about her."

Heeseung fixed his eyes at Sarang and smiled,
knowing Sarang already fell asleep next to him.

He fixed her blanket and shut his eyes, continue sleeping.
