Georges POV

After that encounter with Salem in team RWBYs dream, the girls were left alone, and began to sleep easier, I thought that was it... But I knew it wasn't over, because have some super strong, crazy, evil, demonic, scary lady, who is hell bent on killing all of humanity starting with me and my friends... I could just tell that there will be a fight.

So I trained, using my semblance and without it so I couldn't deplete my aura , as I know I'll need it in a fight with the mega bitch, Salem, and that Adam guy... Well, when I'm done with him, he wouldn't be a guy any longer, or a bitch, probably going to give him the old, hate Mercury treatment.

"Man, I have issues" I say to myself as I cut a dummy target with my katana I had from my first fight in beacon for my initiation, I didn't realise Kyle was behind me, "damn right you do, but your messed up anyway" he joked.

We both had a relaxing smile, "well, what's happened now, you don't normally come to me unless somethings happened" I stated, he nodded.
"Cinder has had a dream with Salem telling her she will die for crossing her" he said, "guess that means we are in the thick of it again, why is that no surprise to me ?" I say.
"Listen George... I need something of you" said Kyle after our smiles faded.

"Anything, my old friend, what is it ?" I asked, "if... If I don't make it, promise me you'll take care of my family for me" he said with a voice full of meaning, I should have guessed what he was going to say, we were both over our heads here.

"I give you my word, but don't think like that" I said, then added "you know... Next time, I can't come back. This time it's for keeps, I die for good and I know you will help my family, I just want you to know it's been an honour to fight besides you again" I said, he nodded, and we both walked out.

Two weeks later, midnight.

I never forgot that talk we had, I was never good at saying final words or goodbye, even if I died several times, I had a bad feeling that something will happen, that one of my friends are going to die.

In Front of me, my worse fears have come true... And I have failed to do as I had planned to, and save all my family and friends.....

Earlier

It was a normal day in beacon, and things were busy, until the courtyard blew up, sending several hunters and students flying, most knocked out and injured, but some were not as lucky.

The sky then plunged into darkness, as two figures appeared, Grimm came out of nowhere and started to attack everyone, I immediately got my armour, a new set of the old T60 E model, and ran to the Girls, I have prepared for this for weeks, we all have.

My armour was black, with a white patch on the face of the helmet and white strips on the arms, and legs, I got a Mini Gun and and entered the room, the girls looked freaked out, but ready to fight, "George" they all said, and embraced me, I hugged them back then got moving, "let's give this bitch a proper fight... Family style" I said, they nodded and we made our way to a hall, only to see Salem with a Sword, "there you are, now let's end this" she said and walked forwards, I knew Adam would be a problem, and he was around here somewhere, maybe outside. I stepped forwards.

"Girls, help Kyle and the others with Adam and the Grimm, I'll deal with her" I said, the girls were hesitant, but soon moved, "please be careful, and come back to us" said Ruby, "I always do" I said and aimed with the Minigun at Salem, "oh, it's the boy from the dream, fighting me on his own. How spineless of you" she said, "what makes you say this ?" I asked, as I tightened my grip on my weapon.

"Because suicide, is the cowards way out" and she charged me with her sword, I fired my Mini gun at her in an attempt to stop her, but she stabbed my armour... And her sword was sinking thought it.
Thinking fast, I jumped out the back and, even though I had hopes that this armour would last longer, primed the self destruct mechanism to explode, and knocked the suit forward.

She pushed the armour away, it hit the floor and exploded... Throwing her out the window, I then jumped down, seeing Salem had got up, only to fight Kyle and Cinder,
Kyle summoned long claws of an Alpha Beowolf, and Nevermore wings due to his semblance. 'Why doesn't he use it that often ?' I thought as they both attacked Salem.
I turned my attention to Adam, who was giving everyone a hard time, including Ozpin, the rest of the Grimm were fighting the hunters who were now waging a full-blown battle.

I changed my weapon to two katanas, as I didn't want to risk shooting the mini gun, incase it hit one of our own, and I noticed that any bullet fired at him was either deflected or cut in half, so it was useless to shoot at him.

He tried to talk with Blake, but as soon as he realised he couldn't get her, he kicked her hard in the chest, then cut her arm, then finished with a punch, sending her backwards.
I ran to Adam and stood before him, "NOW IT'S PERSONAL !" I shout and made an X in front of me, I was fairly good with swords, but two Katanas ?, that's a first.

He laughed, "I'll make sure you die slowly for ruining the white Fang, Bowman, and for stealing the love of my life, and corrupting her with your lies and your filthy acts of intercourse. I must cleanse you both" he said, "I'd doubt you could cleanse me, asshole, because I'm about to turn you into my bitch for hurting her" I said.

"Oh really ?" He said with a chuckle, "yeah, because your just jealous that I got there first, what's the matter Adam, can't get last as your a PUSSY ? Or are you BULL-shitting yourself ?" I said with a cocky grin, my puns are here to annoy.

And we charge each other with our blades creating sparks as they clash.

Kyle's POV

5 minutes earlier...

I ran through the yard, after an explosion with Cinder, Neo and Emerald, and I saw RWBY come outside.

"Cinder, Neo, Look out, nooooo" I said as I pushed Cinder and the others out of the way as a explosion sent me flying to the floor, and a Beowolf tried to get me, I used all my strength to stop it from biting me, "quickly, Blake, Neo, help Kyle..." Cinder said as they killed some of the Grimm.

I then remembered my semblance, "oh yeah..." I said, then made wings to knock the Beowolf away, then some claws to rip it in half. 'Why didn't I remember that ?' I thought, just as a familiar figure jumps out of the smoke, dropping an empty Rocket Launcher, "hello, my dear" said Adam, "oh, no" Blake said, as he drew his sword.

I was about to charge him but another explosion blew out the wall nearby... And the body of Salem went flying with it, I decided to get Cinder and attack Salem, to make her pay for hurting her.

As we did, I saw George jump out of the hole in the wall, he looked over to Adam and made two Katanas, "that's awesome" I said, as I attacked Salem.

After a few minutes, I thought me and Cinder were doing good... Until Salem held out her hand, and I felt myself being lifted, "your semblance is quite notable... But I am the ruler of the Grimm, I can control and manipulate them to my will, you may not be Grimm, but I can still force you to stop using your semblance" she said.

She then threw me into a wall, I hit my head and my vision became blurry, I saw Cinder look at me, before Salem kicked her, and sent Cinder flying to me, George was still engaging Adam in a heated sword fight, and everyone else was on the floor or fighting Grimm, Salem got her sword and ran at us, only for Ruby to run in with her Crescent Rose, and blocked all of Salem's attacks.

But as Salem continued... Ruby was hit in the leg, then her arm got a cut, making her drop her weapon, and Salem grabbed her by her throat, and raised her off the floor, Ruby held her hands against Salem's grip.

Salem laughed loudly and looked to George, who stopped fighting and looked, "Nooo" he shouted, as he ran to Salem, Adam wore a evil smile, and Yang cried out, Salem, looked at Ruby, who was watching George run to them, then Back at Salem, who then raised her sword to Ruby's throat, and in one moment... One swift movement.....

....she slit Ruby's throat.....
