1 | Blue

Jaehyun's life was never in the right track. The past few years had him crying and disappointed at himself. He was the only son and only acceptable alpha heir in the Jung family. He enjoyed being in such a high class that he got everything he wanted but everything went downhill when he put into an arranged marriage.

His parents wanted him to be with an alpha but Jaehyun didn't want to. He was fine with having an obligation to have a heir to take over the company but he can't just marry someone he doesn't know by personality. Jaehyun wanted to be bonded by someone he deeply loves but his parents had to ruin that.

That time, he was in college. Jaehyun had experienced everything in college and thought it was the best time of his life. He was studying in a university with students that were all alphas. He would always be with his friend who treated him as a family. And since he was upset because of his parents, he decided to take the night at the local bar.

A bar where omegas are at.

Jaehyun has rarely been with or smelt an omega, forgetting that their scents were intoxicating. But the bar was too crowded that the smells were mixed into something Jaehyun didn't like. He wanted to be scent claimed by an omega but he couldn't even get the omega he wanted.

The night became deeper until Jaehyun was way too tipsy that he didn't know he was already swayed by a lavender-scented omega. Everything went in a snap to Jaehyun. He doesn't know what happened but he woke up naked on a bed in a motel. The room was empty but it smelled a mixture of musky woodlands and lavender. He didn't think about it and just go home.

He suddenly got scolded by his mother when he came home that morning and was scent claimed by an omega.

Well, the months went by that Jaehyun proved to his parents that he can handle his own without anyone. Just as he was able to get his parents' trust, Jaehyun received a basket outside of their door. Not knowing what was inside, he suddenly heard some whimpers.

He received a baby.

"Daddy!"

Jaehyun finished wearing his necktie and suddenly heard the door opening. He looked down and smiled at the baby waddling his way to his father. He squatted and grabbed the kid to carry him. The baby in his arms giggled which softened Jaehyun's heart.

"Is baby Blue ready?" Jaehyun asked.

Blue nodded, "Yes, daddy! Let's go!"

Apparently, Blue's his own son. His mother took some tests and turned out, it's Jaehyun's creation. Jaehyun did think about it and remembered that one night he spent at the bar. He couldn't remember the face or if he ever bonded with that omega, but he was longing for that omega. He wanted to see that omega again.

So, it's been years since Jaehyun started looking for that lavender-scented omega.

It's also been years since he had Blue. He was a teenage dad, to be exact. But he never hated the fact he has a child in a young age, when he was in college. Right now that he's running the family's company, he thought Blue was the best thing that ever happened to him. He loves his son more than anything but Blue was missing his mama...or papa.

"Good morning, lala!" Blue greeted his grandmother when Jaehyun entered the kitchen with him.

"Good morning, baby," she greeted back and placed a kiss on the baby's head. Despite being upset from Jaehyun having a son, she still loves the grandchild that she spoiled all these years.

"Ma, I'll have to go. I'll bring Blue with me," Jaehyun said.

She nodded, "Okay. Make sure he's being well-fed, okay? Here's the veggies he should eat. Also, don't let him play on the carpet. It's very dusty."

"Yeah, yeah," he said and grabbed the small container with steamed veggies. Then he was given another container and baby bottle by his mother.

She smiled, "Keep it warm, okay? Not too hot, not too cold."

Jaehyun nodded and placed it inside Blue's bag. He closed the small backpack before he placed Blue on the floor and held his small hand.

"See you later, ma," Jaehyun bids.

Blue smiled, showing off his dimples, "Bye bye, lala. See you later with dada!"

They go out of the house and walked towards the car. Jaehyun opened the backseat and carried Blue to let him sit there with his backpack. He closed it and made his way into the driver's. He placed his coat on the passenger's and tried to comb out his hair a bit before he slide the key in and started the engine.

Jaehyun looked at the rear view and saw Blue danggling his little legs off of the seat. He smiled before he wore his sunglasses then drove away to go to work.

"Daddy," Blue called.

"Baby?" Jaehyun asked.

"When is mama coming home?"

Jaehyun isn't married, neither has a partner. That's why Blue has been asking about his mother ever since his mind started thinking about her or him. The man couldn't give him any details but he was making sure he'll find that omega.

"Isn't daddy enough?"

Blue hummed and pouted with his cheeks puffed, "Daddy is sad without mama. I don't like daddy getting sad."

Jaehyun chuckled, "Daddy isn't sad, baby. I have my baby Blue."

The boy nodded enthusiastically. The man stayed quiet until he pulled up the car in the company's parking lot. Jaehyun stopped the engine of the car and pulled the break. He removed his glasses before he looked behind him and lets his eyes land on Blue who was looking back at him with doe eyes.

"Is Blue sad without mama?" Jaehyun asked.

Blue shook his head, "Blue is happy with daddy because Blue loves him very much and daddy loves him very much too but I still miss mama."

The man sighed before ruffling the baby's hair. He goes out of the car and grabbed Blue with the backpack and his coat. Jaehyun locked the car before he kissed the baby's head.

"I'll make sure to bring mama home, okay? But for now, we should go to work. We'll also buy things before you go to school."

Blue pouted, "Blue wants ice cream!"

"Then I'll buy you ice cream."
