Taeyong didn't know what to do. He immediately goes to open the car and tried finding Blue on the backseat. He looked below and by the front but no kid was there. His backpack was also gone. Blue ran away?

The omega went back and tried to calm down the panicking grandparent.

"Miss, we'll find him--"

"W-We need to call the police! Blue might be in danger--"

Taeyong stopped her by putting the phone away, "Please try to stay calm. We don't need the police yet. Call somebody else. We'll find him, okay?"

She nodded and tried calling whoever she thought that might help. Taeyong looked around and went to grab some help from his friends. He needs to calm his nerves down. It was making him fidgety.

"Hey, take care! Call us if something happens, okay?" Jungwoo said.

Taeyong nodded, "Alright. I'm counting on you guys!"

The omega immediately went out and started finding the little boy. Taeyong doesn't know where he could be. He barely knows the boy. He doesn't even know his home address.

It has just been several minutes but it felt like hours. Taeyong still couldn't see Blue. He could be anywhere right now. The omega was getting worried that he might cry right now. Seeing cars running fast along the road wasn't helping him. What if Blue's hurt? What if he's hungry? Or tired? What if he got kidnapped? His chest clenched at the thought of it but he shake it off and tried to think positively. Hopefully, nothing bad happened to him.

Suddenly, his phone rang.

"Hello? Hyung? Is Blue with you?" Taeyong asked Taeil on the other line.

"I was going to ask you the same thing. I couldn't find him here. We're still finding him."

"This is making me lose my crap, hyung. This is all my fault! I took my eyes off of him. What if he's somewhere we don't know? What if he's in danger--"

"Hey, deep breaths, okay? Nobody wanted this. Maybe he just saw something then ran to catch it. We won't stop finding until we find him, alright? I promise we'll find him, Taeyong."

The omega took a deep breath and slowly breathed out, "Alright. Please call me if you find him, okay?"

"Okay. Take care."

Taeyong kept his phone back into his pocket. The sun was making things stressful than it should be and people started crowding the sidewalks. The omega still made sure he looked at every direction. He just didn't mind his thoughts. He was overthinking and it was the least thing he wanted to do right now. The omega took breathing exercises to calm himself down.

Donghyuck suddenly came into his mind. The omega immediately grabbed his phone to text him. Hopefully, he's still in university with his friends. The last thing Taeyong wanted is to hear more bad news today and receiving a text that something happened to his younger brother.

When Taeyong was about to cross the road, he suddenly heard someone calling out for him.

"Papa! Papa!"

The omega looked around until his eyes saw Blue running towards him.

Taeyong met him halfway, running as fast as he could. He scooped the kid up and hugged him tightly. He felt like his heart was going to explode. The omega felt so relieved. Taeyong placed him down and squatted as he looked Blue if he has any bruises or scars. The little boy suddenly giggled and held the omega's cheeks.

"Smile," Blue said, just because Taeyong has his eyebrows furrowed with a frown on his face. He doesn't understand what was happening but he was happy to see his papa.

Taeyong sighed, "Why did you run away? What if something happens to you? Your grandmother was worried sick."

The omega found nothing so he just carried the little boy and started walking back to where the institution is. He grabbed his phone and started texting his grandmother to pick him up. He also told his friends about it.

"Daddy couldn't pick me so I'll pick up him instead."

Taeyong chuckled and ruffled Blue's fluffy brown hair. The omega held him protectively in his arms, scared that someone might get him away from him again.

"Don't run away like that, okay? You should ask permission to me or to your daddy. We were worried," the teacher uttered, not wanting to make that happen again.

Blue pouted, "Is papa mad?"

The omega shook his head, "No, I'm not. But I will if you do that next time."

"No more next time," the baby said.

"Right. No more next time."

Jaehyun anxiously drove towards the school. If he hasn't come home to check after the meeting, he won't know about Blue going missing. His mother doesn't even have any plans on saying it. Her excuse was because she didn't want Jaehyun to go out of work. Good thing when he was about to go hysterical, someone called his mother and told that they found Blue.

He never drove so fast before. He didn't even bother hearing more of his mother's reasons. It was useless anyway. She had to hide it from him for no reason. The alpha parked along the sidewalk and immediately stepped out of his car.

"Daddy!"

Blue wiggled out of the pair of arms and ran up to where his father is. Jaehyun carried him to hug him. But he pulled away with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Why did you do that? Didn't I tell you not to go without anyone with you? What if you get hurt? Or what if a stranger caught you? What will you do? Blue, ans--"

"Hey, he's just a kid."

Jaehyun looked up to whoever spoke and the one who held Blue while waiting, which was Jungwoo. He has a small smile on his face with his arms crossed.

"He just got upset that you didn't pick him up. Children at his age needs attention," the beta said.

The kid in Jaehyun's arms was close to crying. Blue has a pout while he grips on his shirt with teary eyes. Jungwoo hummed and reached to grab Blue. Jaehyun gave him and watched how the beta made his son to calm down. The alpha sighed as he placed his hands on his hips.

"I just got so worked up. I'm sorry, baby," Jaehyun said to Blue.

The kid sniffled, "I'm sorry, daddy..."

"Get him home, okay?" Jungwoo said then gave Blue to Jaehyun again, "I'll see you guys next week."

The man nodded before he walked out of the institution and went to his car. He placed a kiss on Blue's head who was already sleeping against his shoulder. Jaehyun arrived and opened his car. He hugged Blue close to him and was about to place him on the backseat but his attention caught the scent on his kid.
