34 | always with you

Just as the night came, Taeyong was already laying down the bed since Jaehyun wasn't allowing him to do things yet. He was resting, ready to take his sleep but he can't since he was waiting for Jaehyun. He wanted to cuddle while he sleeps. Things weren't the same anymore and the omega was fine with it.

A few minutes later, Jaehyun came into the room with his phone in hand. He closed the door behind him and walked towards the omega on the bed. He placed his phone on the bedside table before he slipped himself into the comforter and pulled Taeyong for a cuddle. It made the omega giggle and cuddle closer to take in the alpha's scent.

"I might stay up all night later. I have to do work," Jaehyun said.

Taeyong furrowed his eyebrows. He wrapped his arms around the alpha's neck and looked at him.

"It's already sleep time. Just do them tomorrow morning," Taeyong uttered.

"But Doyoung needs them so I have to atleast finish half," the alpha remarked, trying to convince Taeyong.

The omega pouted, "But I feel like I can't sleep without you."

Jaehyun smiled sweetly, "I'll wait until you sleep."

Taeyong groaned. He removed his arms around Jaehyun and pulled away from the alpha before he turned his back to him. Jaehyun was surprised about Taeyong's annoyed but cute side. The alpha sighed before he moved closer and back hugged the omega.

"You're going to work, right? I can sleep on my own, you can leave," the omega uttered with a flat tone.

The alpha chuckled, "You're cute. No wonder Blue has a cute side as well."

"Stop it. I'm trying to sleep."

Jaehyun hummed. He placed a kiss on Taeyong's neck and saw how the omega got tensed but didn't bother to look at the alpha and went to 'sleeping.' The alpha buried his face on the omega's neck, letting his hot breath ghost over the skin. Taeyong was trying to ignore him.

The alpha placed a kiss on the bite mark and immediately made the omega weak. Taeyong groaned, suppressing his whines and continued to ignore Jaehyun.

Suddenly, a phone rang which made Jaehyun to pull himself away to answer it. He saw Doyoung's caller ID and knew he needed to answer it as soon as possible but he had to place a peck on the omega's head before he stood. Taeyong looked behind and saw the alpha walking out of the room.

"Sorry for making you bring my laptop," Jaehyun said as he received the device from Doyoung who personally brought it.

"Oh, it's fine. Here's the contracts and proposals as well. Remember, I need them tomorrow," the secretary uttered, reminding his boss.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll call you if they're ready. Let someone else get it," the alpha grabbed the folders with the laptop he was asking for.

"Okay. I'll see you next week then...And also, have a nice night," Doyoung smiled teasingly as he was looking behind.

Jaehyun turned and saw Taeyong standing by the bedroom frame, curious about what they are talking about. The alpha looked back at his secretary and rolled his eyes at him.

"Bye, Dongyoung," Jaehyun waved his hand and slowly closed the door.

The alpha locked it shut before he turned to walk towards the coffee table and placed the things down. Jaehyun sat down as he sighed before he looked at Taeyong.

"I'm sorry but I really need to do this," Jaehyun said.

Taeyong nodded, "Okay..."

Jaehyun signaled him to come closer which Taeyong did. The alpha pecked on the omega's lips.

"Good night. I'll join you later, hopefully," the alpha said.

The omega sighed and watched how Jaehyun immediately went to work in a snap. Though the alpha was already in work mode, his attention still went to the omega who walked into the bedroom again. Taeyong seemed to be upset which made Jaehyun a bit worried.

Jaehyun was about to stand up and maybe talk with him but he got surprised when Taeyong walked out with a pillow and a blanket. The omega sat beside the alpha as he placed the pillow by the couch's armrest.

The alpha chuckled, "What are you doing?"

Taeyong laid himself down. He placed his legs on Jaehyun's lap and made himself comfortable. He then placed the blanket over him.

"I'll camp out here with you."

Jaehyun chuckled, "It's not comfortable here."

"Atleast you're here."

The alpha sighed and pats the omega's leg, "Alright. Sleep well then."

Donghyuck has successfully made Blue to fall asleep. Blue was somehow a bit too energetic for him. It was a hustle to do things with him but he's a kid anyway. He's done with his assignments that were thankfully given by Jaemin.

Not because they were due this week, it was because he was waiting for Mark to come home.

He got nothing to do and finishing works would make him productive. He looked at the time on his phone and thought it was getting late already. The omega stood up to walk towards the big doors to open them and tried looking if Mark has already arrived.

Donghyuck almost called Mark, wanting to make sure he was doing alright, until the gate opened upon Mark's car entering. The omega sighed in relief.

The alpha stepped out of the car and lets Jaehyun's driver to bring it into the garage. Mark has his bag with him and got surprised to see Donghyuck by the front door.

"What are you doing here outside, love?" Mark asked.

The alpha leaned in for a peck to greet his lover.

"I was waiting for you. Are you always this late?" Donghyuck asked.

"Most of the time because of meetings but this time, I needed to fill up Jaehyun's position for the meantime," the alpha uttered, "Sorry if I made you worried."

Donghyuck just sighed before he walked into the house with Mark following behind him. The omega walked towards the couch to sit on it as the alpha loosened up his tie and unbuttoned his sleeves.

"You can sleep ahead. I'll join you after I clean up," Mark uttered as he ruffled Donghyuck's hair, "You seem tired."

"Oh, I just, y'know, took care of Blue then I did a bunch of assignments while you were gone," Donghyuck answered.

"That's fine. Atleast you're already practicing," the alpha uttered and unbuttoned his collar as he stood behind the omega with his hands on the backrest.

Donghyuck looked up at Mark, "Practicing for what?"

The alpha hummed, "For Chan."

"Who is Chan? Mark, are you drunk or something?" the omega asked as he turned his body to face the alpha.

Mark raised his eyebrows, "Our future child."

Donghyuck felt himself flustered but he just stood up and kept a straight face, "Alright. I'll go ahead, love. Good night and stop yourself from dreaming."

"Fine, good night."
