The look on Aurora's face was enough to make my day.

She had stepped back in surprise when we all jumped out, but it was a good look of surprise.

Her look of surprise, slowly changed to a smile. "What's all this?" She asked.

Her father spoke up, "A surprise party. You are growing into a fine young woman, and we thought of doing this for you."

"Well, actually, it was Tendo's idea." Eveline stated.

Aurora turned to me. "Really?"

I rubbed the bac of my head awkwardly. "Well... y-yeah. Kinda..." (I did say I was no good when I was the center of attention in a big crowd.)

She rushed in, and gave me a hug; causing me to stand on my hind legs as she did as well.

"Thank you." She said.

I blushed and hugged her back. "Oh uh... hehe... you're welcome."

She broke the hug. She then stood back on all fours, and looked around at everyone with a big grin. "Thank you, everyone. I... don't deserve this."

Vanessa walked up. "Course you do. After all, you ARE related to me."

Aurora laughed. "Alright. So, what do we do next?"

Her father walked over to their table. "We can always start out a good party with some games!"

Aurora nodded, and everyone gathered around the table in the living room.

-After the games-

Both Eveline and Yeper brought the cake over here. It was a large, three layered one, with red velvet bread, vanilla frosting and icing. It also had strawberries on the top.

My mouth watered at its site. 'Rich person's cake...' I thought.

They set it down carefully on the table, and both admired their handiwork.

Aurora's father smiled. "Alright. Time to sing happy birthday to Aurora."

And we did.

Aurora was acting all shy and cute when we sang the song to her. It was... actually kind of adorable.

After we sang, we all got some cake, and sat around, and talked for a few minutes. Until...

"Present time!" Eveline shouted.

Aurora's grandmother flinched when Eveline said that. I guess she was trying to take a nap.

All the presents were put on the table, and in front of Aurora who was sitting next to me, who was sitting next to Shade.

She looked around at everyone, as she grabbed a small box about the size of a dinner plate.

Yeper snickered when she did, so I would venture a guess and say that it was from Yeper.

She opened it, and used her ribbons to pull out a photograph, with a small box inside. The photograph showed Aurora, Yeper, and Constan in the background, all at the beach.

Aurora did the 'aw' thing that girl do, and Yeper ran over and hugged Aurora quickly.

I looked closer at the photo, and saw that Constan had his back turned and seemed to be scoffing at whoever took the picture.

I chuckled, and Constan frowned at me.

Aurora opened the box, and pulled out a very colorful, very pretty friendship bracelet. (Or, at least I saw it as being one. I don't know jewelry.)

Aurora smiled wide, and slid the bracelet on her wrist. She smiled widely at Yeper.

She then moved onto the next gift, and the next, and the next...

I'll just skip to the moment you're all waiting to see...

MY present.

It was the last one there, as it was just an envelope. But, nonetheless, she grabbed it.

She smiled when she saw it was from me.

She opened up the envelope, and pulled out three things: one was a photo, (that's right! Yeper stole MY idea!) another was a little paper, with both of our pawprints together, and the other was a letter of confession.

The photograph showed me and Aurora together. (obviously.) Her cheek was pressed against mine as she smiled wide for the picture, while I was looking at her nervously with a slight blush.

Aurora giggled at my photo skills, and she again, did the 'aw' thing, with the pawprint paper.

But the last one... the last one was the real one.

She looked at it last, and began reading it. I covered my face with my paws a little embarrassed. Some of the others around, chuckled at me. But I didn't care. (Ok, I did a little bit.)

She read through it, and blushed several times. She eventually got to the bottom, and looked back at me with a sparkle in her eye.

I peeked at her face, and then faced her fully. "So um... how do you like your... gift?"

She gave me a gentle smile, before tackling me in a hug.

I chuckled awkwardly, as Shade grew uncomfortable with having us that close to him.

Aurora allowed me to sit back up when she let go. She giggled. "I love it." She then planted a kiss on my cheek, as I blushed.

Yeper and Eveline both 'oohed', while Aurora's grandmother said, "I think the two young ones are in love!" A little too loudly.

Aurora chuckled at her grandmother, while I looked around nervously.

Aurora then looked around at everyone. "I... can't thank you all enough for all this. It makes me so happy to have you all here right now."

And that's pretty much how the party went.
