I got home in a short time.

It wasn't too far of a walk so I would always get home relatively quickly.

I arrived and opened the door. My brother was standing there, waiting to greet me. For some reason, he had a scowl on his face.

"Um... Hello?" I greeted him.

"Care to explain yourself?" He asked. I had no idea what he meant. I never stole anything from him, nor did I remember upsetting him in any way. What was he talking about?

"I don't know what you mean." I told him. He snickered. "Of course you don't." He responded. "But I do..."

I suddenly leaped forward and tackled me to the ground. "Jomp just called me!" He said. "I knew it had to happen eventually!"

"I don't know what you are talking about!" I yelled. "Now get off!" I pushed him off of me and he stood back up.

"I heard about the sylveon thing." He said still excited.

Oh no, I though. If he knows, then it was possible Yeper heard about it. She would never leave me alone about a stupid one-time occurrence.

"Did Yeper...?" I half-asked. Luckily, He shook his head.

"Nah, she doesn't know yet." He said to my relief. "But you weren't going to tell me and Jomp knew that, so he called me and told me all what happened."

My brother, Constan, was irritating sometimes. He knew how to get on my nerves.

"If he hadn't told me, then I never would have known." He said to me. "I would have had to battle you in order for you to say anything. And that probably would have gone in my favor. No offense."

Constan was a flareon. So, he could win in a battle because of his type advantage. He was also the fighter of the family, so I could not have won most of the time.

"So," He began. "Now, we need to plan out a way to find her again, so she and you can fall in love and get married, like those really sappy movies."

I frowned. "No." I responded simply.

Constan frowned as well. "What?"

"I said no."

"But, come on! This is your only chance! Your gonna die alone, because you are too stubborn!"

"And your gonna die alone cause you are too irritating!"

Constan scowled. "Take that back." He said.

"No."

"Take it back!"

"I said no."

"You are in for the battle of your life."

"Bring it on!"

Constan jumped back and got ready to attack. I got into my attack position as well.

But before we could fight each other, our mom came in and saw us about to battle.

"What do you two think you're doing?!" She asked. "Your sister is asleep! And have you forgotten the no-battling-in-the-house rule?"

Me and Constan bot looked down. "Sorry." We said in unison.

"Now, what is this whole thing about?" She asked us both.

Constan smiled and looked up. "Well..."

"It's nothing!" I said before he could. "It's nothing."

Our mom huffed. "Normally I wouldn't accept that answer, but today I am just too tired. I will find out tomorrow." With that she walked to her room and shut her door.

Constan looked at me. "Pfft." He said as he ran toward his room and shut his door.

At least I was good for tonight. But hopefully, Constan AND our mom wouldn't ask more about it. Because, I might just have to answer...
