he didn't see her after that day.

today marks the fifth day, and he was still hoping for her to come. he hated that he couldn't go to her and always needed to have her coming to him.

but he saw something else.

there were a few figures surrounding the particular area, and they were shovelling the dirt as if to cover up something.

he then saw something familiar.

it was the daisy dress she wore the last time she came to him, and the day when she questioned him the possibilities.

he finally realises that she was going to be buried six feet underground, and she wasn't going to be coming to him again.

he wanted to laugh, because everything was just so funny. happiness was just under his nose, but it slips away the moment he was so close to it.

he couldn't ever feel the feeling of someone leaning on him again.

but it wasn't the end.

because although something happened to them, they were always together, like they always have been.

his words reached her, and in truth, both of them were actually leaning on each other.

i dont know if you guys even understood/realised that seokjin actually isn't a human, but a tree (: [!!! some of you realised it on the first cHAPTER OMF]

i tried to make it not as obvious but i dropped hints here & there HAHAHHA but i think i kinda made it too obvious?

this was inspired by seventeen's song laughter & expectation/lean on me (IM CRYING THEYRE LIT AF), i got the idea out of nowhwre and so based on some parts of the lyrics i came up with this!

someone really needs to stop me from coming up with stories that have characters which are non-human oh my god-

as usual my ending is someone dying i feel so evil and i feel that it's too overused by me HAHAHAH

i think i'm gonna write more short stories from now on because i like the feeling of it oh my god but i'll still write full length fanfics!!
