As Ezra ran he focused on the signature. It was sad, scared, afraid, and angry. He decided it was better if he went alone so he told Ketzu he'd go alone and meet up with her and Chopper later.
         Once he continued running he found a small ally and in a corner he saw a little girl crying into her knees. When he saw this he remembered when he used to live alone on the streets. He cautiously walked up to her, but as he did so she looked up at him with defiance in her eyes. He started the conversation.
         "Who are you?"
         "None of your business," She replied trying to seem tough.
         "I'm Ezra, Ezra Briger."
         "I'm Miranda, Miranda Linsey."
         "What are you doing out here alone?" He said gently
         "My mom and dad were killed by troopers." She said and began to cry.
         Ezra knelt next to her and tried to comfort her. Then he got an idea.
         "Hey, Miranda?" He asked in a gentle way. She didn't seem to notice him. So he decided a different approach.
         "My parents were killed by troopers to."
         She looked up at him sadly. And had to wonder why this stranger would even care. Then again she did find trust in him.
         "Sorry."
         "It's ok it happened a while ago. Miranda, do you know what the force is?
         Without words she lifted out her hand and different objects around them began to float. But it only lasted a moment she lost concentration and everything fell. She looked up confidently and said:
         "That's the longest I've been able to do that."
         "Very good."
          Ezra looked over at Miranda and lifted up his hand causing certain objects to lift. She immediately looked at him mystified.
          "Your a jedi, aren't you?"
          "Yes, and I can train you to be one to."
          "Really, you'd want to train me?"
          "Yes. Well, what do you say?"
          "Ummm... YESSS!!!" She said and hurled her arms around his neck. He smiled and hugged her back. The happiness didn't last long though. Ties roared overhead.
           "What are so many ties doing?" Miranda said starting to panic.
           "Calm down Mira, everything is going to be fine. I'm here now. Do you have anything you wanna bring with you?"
           "Bring with me?"
           "Yes, we can't stay here now that the Empire knows we're here." He said and looked up analyzing the TIES that were flying overhead.
           "I have a few things back at my house that I would like." She answered his question.
           "Do you know the way?"
           She nodded.
           "Well than, let's get going."
           About ten minutes later they arrived at a house beaten up and had an imperial warning on it. It reminded Ezra alot of his house after his parents were taken away. Ezra glanced down at Miranda she was having a hard time seeing her home in shambles. He squeezed her hand in support. As they walked into the house Miranda asked Ezra:
         "Can you wait here while I grab my stuff?"
          He nodded. As she walked out of the main room Ezra glanced around the room it looked like a normal house other than a few blaster marks here and there.
          Ezra was hit with a strong Force signature. At first he thought it was Miranda, but when he focused on it he remembered him and his masters bond.
         Ezra.
         Kanan. How?
         Ezra you finally put your mental shields so I could communicate with you.
        Kanan me and Chopper know your location we're working on getting you out of there.
        Be careful. The Empire's been stepping up there game.
        Yeah. I'll try to keep Chopper out of trouble.
        We'll talk later. Be careful Ezra.
        You to Kanan.
        Back in Miranda's house she had grabbed her stuff and went back to Ezra. 
        "Ezra I'm ready."
        He immediately snapped out of his trance and nodded.
        "Well let's get going."
