It was almost sunset when Gunny received Sameera's message to meet. Gunny knew then that he was in trouble, but he also knew it was time he manned up and said what needed to be said. It was due already overdue to tell her about his feelings. 

So Gunraj Singh Randhawa went on towards the battlefront, as a good soldier.

When he got to the field he saw Sameera was already waiting for him although she was unaware of his arrival. So he just took a moment and admired her from afar. She was gorgeous he thought and just like that his resolve was ironclad, he would tell her how he felt, consequences be damned.

Sameera knew the feeling of his eyes on her and so she turned as soon as she felt him there. Low and behold there he was in casuals. It was rare for her to see him in causals. He looked handsome she thought and then instantly scolded herself for thinking that. 

He saw her looking at him and went towards her. She looked a bit anxious, " Hi ." 

Gunny smiled and replied, " Hi". He thought were they always this awkward. 

Sameera started to open her mouth and closed it, opened it again and closed it again, She thought she never had this much trouble talking to Gunny. 

Gunny was enjoying watching her form the right words to say to him. He cleared his throat and said, "Thumhe aaj thoda jaldi karna padegi Sameera, I have to take you somewhere for something special."

(You will have to hurry a bit today.)

Sameera was not sure she had heard him correctly, he did say he had to take her for something special right? Gunny sensed her bewilderment and said, "I can't tell you where we are going strict orders, but it is a pleasant surprise. But that is not the reason you called me here is it?"

Sameera thought to argue over the said surprise but she knew she was stalling," I am sorry ." She said with a deep breath. 

Off all the things he imagined her saying this was not one of them. She continued so he did not interrupt her. 

" I am so sorry, I know it was probably Akriti and Naina's plan to envolve you like this in the plan, I had no idea what so ever that they were going to come up with something so idiotic. I mean a false plan of bombs or a false engagement is one thing but they are involving your family. Oh my god! your family. They must think I have lost my mind or something. Say sorry to them also for being dragged into my mess. And also that I am very grateful that they decided to help me. Also thank you for agreeing to this absurd plan and I assure you that the engagement will not bound you in any way and I will find a way to break it per...." 

She would have continued with her rant had he not held his hand up. He had had enough now, " I planned to help you and my idea to involve ma and baba in the plan. Also, the engagement will not be fake and I will most certainly not break it."

Sameera almost had a mini heart attack when he said that. She looked at him wide eyes as if he just told her to fill the blackboard again. 

He went on to say, "Tomorrow when Ma and Baba go to meet your Aunt they will be Asking for your hand in marriage, not because of some plan but because I told them that want to marry you." 

Sameera was known sure that this was one of her dreams. She kept blinking and looking at him as if he was going to disappear any moment now and then she will wake up again. So she did the only logical thing she could think of, She poked him and said, " Huh?" 

Gunny raised his eyebrows at her in a silent question and she replied, " I thought it was a dream again." 

Gunny said with a smug smile, " So, you dream about me proposing to you." Sameera realized what she had said and tried to backtrack her statement but before either of them could continue this conversation Gunny's phone started ringing. 

He excused himself and when he came back he said, " As much as I want to continue this conversation we have to get going." 

Sameera asked him where they were going and what was the surprise when they came to the academy Sameera was very surprised. This where he wanted to bring her she thought.

Gunny looked at her and came closer whispered something in her ear and Sameera's and her eyes went wide she almost shouted something but Gunny covered her mouth. Sameera understood and they went in.

Meanwhile, on the way to the academy, Abhimanyu made a stop to a shop and came back with a package from a jewelry store. Akriti looked a bit surprised at this.

She questioned so many times what it was but never got a reply just a smile that said i-know-something-you-don't. Soon they were at their destination.

Akriti was even more surprised to see Sameera and Funny waiting outside for them. Sameera pulled them aside and whispered something in her ears which left Akriti baffled and excited. Soon they were joined with Naveen and Rummy. 

Akriti asked what they were waiting for. As she said that Alekh and Dr.Shalini came out of the academy. 

"So," Abhimanyu asked, "Is everything prepared inside?"  Alekh gave a thumbs up and they knew that everything was a go. 

If any outsider who was not in on the plan saw all of them, they would probably think that the whole lot of them had gone mad or they were up to something that was definitely not good. 

Soon enough they saw another jeep come into the gates of the academy and Sameera all but ran towards the guest that had just arrived. Everyone had a smile on their face, it was almost for the guest to get there on time but they made. 

The Jeep stooped and Ali and Pooja were the first ones to get out of it. Huda and Yudi were next and Sameera just could not contain herself neither could Alekh. It had been long since they met there friends like this. 

 " Mujhe lag raha that tum log a hi nahi paoge." Alekh said with relief. 

(I thought you guys won't be able to make it.)

Huda replied, " lag to hume bhi yahi raha tha kaidi , par itna bada mauka kaise chod dete , to bas phir thaan li ki aaj to KMA pahuch ke hi rahenge."

(Even we thought so kaide, but how could we miss such a big moment, so we made our minds that  no matter what we will reach KMA today)

Pooja and Ali were busy getting stuff out of the jeep, while Yudi said, " Ye to aise hi bol raha hai, isse dar that ki hum log time pe nai ae to Rajveer sir iska keema bna denge." 

(He just saying that he was actually afraid of what Rajveer sir will do to him if we are not on time.)

Huda in all his hudagiri said, " Jaise tujhe to bade maze a rahe the jab jeep band ho gai thi, Mai bta raha hun ye almost rone laga tha."

( Like you were any better I am telling you he was almost in tears.)

Pooja interfered their fight and said, " Tum dono ro hi rahe the aise lag raha that jaise Do paanch sal ke bachon ke sath connection jod diya gaya ho mere. Aur uspe mere sare phone mein network bhi nahi a rha tha."

( You were both crying. It was like being with two five-year-olds. And on top of that, all my phones had no network. )

Huda and Yudi were about to argue more but Ali told them silently, " Apne unka ek phone pheek diya , hum apki jagah hote to shant rehte." They heeded Ali's advice of course. 

(You tossed one of her phones out on the road if I were you I would keep shut up.)

All of them embraced each other. After all, it had been almost 2 months since they were together. That had been when they had to rescue the majors. It did not let them have a good reunion, but today was a perfect occasion.

Abhimanyu's phone chimed and the message told them that Rajveer and Naina were about to reach the Academy. All of them hurried inside to take their places.

 Rajveer parked the jeep and both of them got out and went towards the academy. Rajveer was still behaving strangely Naina thought. 

Rajveer stopped and told Naina to go on to the academy he forgot something in the jeep. 

Naina said she could wait but he did not listen and insisted she on without him. She did just that but as soon as she entered the building the lights went out. 

Naina was on full alert node now she knew something was going on. She got her gun out and went on towards the main hall to go to the stairs and towards the hostel.

 But as she entered the main hall she was stopped due to the spotlight being shown on her she had to cover her eyes for a second. Soon a screen lowered and a projection started. The projection showed her photograph. To say that Naina was confused would be an understatement. 

 A voice soon followed. It was Rajveer's and it just said, " NAINA."
