Copeland, Asher, and Venus slow to a stop, feeling completely exhausted. They already spent most of the night searching, finding absolutely nothing that could tell them where Sarina disappeared to.

"I'm about ready to sleep," Venus yawns.

Asher and Copeland stop running, looking to their cousin with concern. She sits down, another yawn stretching her face as she rubs her eyes.

"Alright, maybe we should report back. Venus needs sleep," Asher says.

Copeland sighs, pushing her ebony bangs from her eyes. She nods.

"Yeah...let's call Uncle Leo," she says, sheathing her chigiriki and pulling out her t-phone.

As the phone is ringing, something lands behind them. The trio of turtles spins around, weapons out and ready. Sarina stands at a distance, face set and emotionless.

"Mom!" Asher calls, relieved. "You got away!"

She blinks, not yet responding. The turtle boy, still overjoyed, moves forwards.

"Do not come closer, turtle," Sarina snaps, her voice almost void of tone.

"What? Why? Are the Kraang still after you?" he asks worriedly. "Mom?"

She raises her hand, her eyes going red as her brow furrows. "I am not your mother. I am Subject 60184, and my mission is to destroy all turtles and their loved ones, for they made my life terrible. The one known as Emery told me."

"Ash, get away from her," Copeland whispers urgently.

"What? I don't understand! What happened to you?" he demands.

She raises her other hand, palms starting to glow red. Asher backs up even more, but slowly.

"Asher! The Kraang did something to her! Come on!" Copeland shouts.

"Auntie Sarina..." Venus whimpers.

Sarina lets out a harsh laugh as she powers up even more, ready to fire at her son without any regret.

Leonardo hears rock music coming from his t-phone, recognizing Copeland's ringtone. He answers, hoping they have good news.

"Copeland? Everything okay?" he asks.

"Uncle Leo! We need help! MAYDAY! MAYDAY!" she shrieks.

His eyes widen as he hears screams and blasts going off on the other end.

"Okay, we'll be there in a flash. Hold on," he says, his heart bubbling with worry.

He shuts off his phone and slips it into his belt, looking to his brothers.

"Is Copeland okay?" Raphael asks immediately, although he already knows that something's wrong.

"They're being attacked. It's probably Kraang. Ninjas, go!" Leo shouts. "Mikey, call Des, Tay, and Lise. We need them. Donnie, track Copeland's phone."

Michelangelo nods. "I'll get them to track us or something!"

Donatello only nods, his heart pounding as he tracks Copeland's phone. The brothers take off, hoping it isn't too late.

Dean alights on a water tower, folding his wings against his back as he pulls out his ringing t-phone, recognizing Asher's ringtone.

"Talk to me," he says.

"Mom's gone crazy! It's like she doesn't remember me or any of us or..." Asher's panicked voice sounds. "Hurry! Get Kota to track us down! We need help!"

The line goes dead and Dean straightens up, looking to Mitch and Dakota as they catch up to him.

"Who was that?" Mitch asks.

"They found Sarina, but she isn't being herself," he answers.

Dakota tenses, but whips out her t-phone, punches in a few codes, and starts tracking her twin's phone easily.

"Let's go. They're close," she reports.

"Hurry!" Dean shouts, taking off and soaring into the sky.

The rooftop is a mess by the time everyone arrives.

Dean's team arrives first, the sight before them making their blood run cold. Sarina, her body almost bathed in a red light, leaps and zooms around, firing off rounds at their three terrapin cousins. Copeland stands in front of Venus, chigiriki spinning. Whenever Sarina comes near, she swings it out as a warning to stay back. Asher zips around, dodging blows with his three foot staff as he tries to talk some sense into his mother.

Dean doesn't hesitate before he flies forwards, scooping Venus into his arms and flying away from the battle scene. The turtle girl squirms in his grip, but he's too strong.

"Dean, let me go!" she demands. "I have to help Auntie Sarina! She keeps saying that we're the reason her life was terrible! She's gone crazy!"

Dean lands on a water tower, releasing his sister but holding her in place by the shoulders. His wild sapphire eyes focus on her as he remains collected.

"What exactly did she say?" he asks.

"That she was supposed to destroy us, and that someone named Emery told her to."

The name makes Dean's body tense, his fur standing on end. Emery...he knew that name, but it was all but a faint memory of someone he never met; the leopard that scarred his mother.

"Oh no...it wasn't the Kraang," he whispers.

"Dean!"

He looks down at the rooftop, seeing each of the turtles and the remaining three wives running (or flying in Destiny's instance) towards them. Dean lifts Venus and launches himself down, landing in front of his family.

"Sarina...she's not herself," he says. "It wasn't the Kraang who took her in the first place."

Donnie's face pales and his eyes widen. "How...how so?"

"She's trying to destroy us! Emery told her to and she's listening!" Venus whimpers, her eyes filling with tears.

Leo and Destiny both tense up at the name. Leo looks to his wife and purses his lips.

"Turtles, with me. We've got to figure out what's happening to her," he says, unleashing his katanas. "Onwards!"

The turtles race forwards, heading for the building top. Destiny lands from the air and hugs Venus, trying to calm her daughter.

"Who's Emery, mom?" she asks.

The wolf-raven sighs. "She's a leopard mutant...a bad one. I'll explain later."

Annalise and Taylor move to the roof ledge. Taylor has her baseball bat at the ready, Annalise has her trusty tomahawk.

"Are the others fighting?" Annalise asks, although her eyes are already fixated on the battle a little ways away.

Dean nods. "I've got to help. See you in a few."

He readies his ninjaken, turning and zooming into the air and flying back to the battle. Destiny follows after a moment, ordering Venus to stay with her human aunts. She nods, too freaked out by the current events to even want to go back and fight. The two human women each take one of her hands, comforting her.

Back at the battle, Sarina touches down, her powers stopping for a moment.

"You are more difficult to hit than I expected," she says.

The turtles arrive, moving to their children's sides with their weapons drawn. Donnie stares at Sarina, his body rigid. In his mind, he thinks of the last time he saw her like this; in his fungus induced nightmare, the nightmare where she lost all her memories.

"Sarina, why are you doing this?" Leo demands, his deep voice carrying out to her easily.

She doesn't register anger, but her next words cement that idea in their heads.

"Perhaps I should tell you, seeing as you're obviously far too stupid to realize what you put me through," she hisses, although her tone is flat. "I woke up in a cage, where I know I've been kept my whole life. The one known as Emery let me out. My body has aged, my memories no longer reaching past sixteen years, and I wanted to know who had done this. You...you monsters did this to me." Her eyes flash red, a snarl fixing itself on her lips.

"Us?! We...we saved you! I saved you!" Donnie says, his tone almost pleading as he moves towards her.

"Donnie, don't!" Raph warns.

"Sarina, please, you have to trust me," the purple-masked turtle whispers. "They...they did something to you. They took away your memories, didn't they?"

Her eyes narrow minimally. "The they you speak of are the ones who informed me of your dastardly deeds. I've been hidden away my whole life because of you!"

"No, no, we didn't. We're your family, I'm...I'm the one you love." He moves even closer, her making no movement to stop him. He tries to reach out and touch her face, brush some hair from her eyes the way he always did. "Sarina...honey, it's me. Your Donatello..."

She steps away from his touch, her face registering nothing. "I do not know of the one known as Donatello, nor do I own the one known as you."

"Dad, she doesn't remember! She's still sixteen in her mind!" Asher calls, having figured this out a while ago.

Donnie, despite his heart feeling as though it's shattered and broken, doesn't move away. "Sarina..."

"I know not of this Sarina you speak and have spoken of. I am Subject 60184, and that is who I have always been...because of you." Her eyes flash as she raises her hand again. "I must destroy the one known as you for your wrongdoings against me."

"Donnie! Get out of there!" Leo orders forcefully, fear for his brother growing.

Donnie backs up, but Sarina acts first, firing a laser right at his chest.
