Orlin Kuroriku- Azami, Osamu, and Diana's father. He is seen as a hero by most Kuroriku but as a villain by most Kasai no Ki. He was the one who modernized Kuroriku and turned it into the technological powerhouse it is today. However, he also sought to eradicate the nation of Kasai no Ki, which he deemed as a relic of a bygone past and a harbinger of war.

Artermia Tsutsuji Mendoza- Azami, Osamu, and Diana's mother.

Azami Siegmundo Tigris Kuroriku- King Osamu's older twin brother and the father of Serrano and Conrad. He was to be king but gave up his title in order to pursue his dream of being an idol. His current whereabouts are unknown, even to his brother and oldest son.

Serrano Somnus Tsurugi Kuroriku- The cousin (as he's the nephew of Tekeshi) and best friend of Tetsuya. The two grew up like brothers. He admires Tetsuya greatly. Many consider him the strongest out of the Seven Hill Knights of his generation. He is engaged to Princess Setsuko.

Osamu Raimundo Leo Kuroriku- A man of many talents.  In his youth he was known throughout the world of sports, particularly tennis and basketball. In his teens he worked as model and in his free time would draw. His dream was to be a mangaka. The current king of Kuroriku. Father of Setsuko and Rosalba. He can come off as a stern and stoic man but there is a side to him which few ever get to see...  one of those being Tekeshi himself.

Despite his stoic persona, he is loved by most Kurorikuians who are finally experiencing peace and stability after many tumultuous years. He seeks to keep it that way, which is why he's hidden the incoming invasion from the masses and is planning to limit the war to Abyssia as much as he can.

Sofia Pena- The late mother of Setsuko and Rosalba. She's the younger sister of Sebastian. In her youth she was in love with Tekeshi, even after marriage she continued to pine for him.

Setsuko Kuroriku- The first knight of the Five Knights of Prophecy and the lone female of the group. She is rebellious and often does things to whatever she deems as fit. Despite this, Osamu has yet to stripe her of her birthright. She knows that her father still holds high expectations for her. She aims to become a queen whom people can be proud of. Her ultimate goal is to maintain the fragile peace and solidify it. She knows that not all is well in the kingdom...

Rosalba Kuroriku- Main character of the main series alongside Tetsuya and Yuko. She's one of the Seven-Hills, guardians of the royal family. She harbors feelings for the son of the man her mother loved.  She is a high spirited girl with an idealistic, some would even say child-like,view of the world. That was in part due to the way her father brought her up, wishing to protect her from the outside world. Though her child-like innocence is also what draws Tetsuya toward her and drives his desire to protect her. Her family also desires to protect her for that same reason. Though she, too, desires to protect those closest to her, especially Tetsuya and her older sister.

She is a young woman of great faith, retaining hope even in the darkest of times.
