The boy leads Y/N (Standard), Y/N (XYZ), Shay, Yuya, Gong, and Sylvio to the Resistance Hide Out.

Allen: Welcome to our hideout. My name is Allen. This girl's name is Sayaka.

Allen notices that Sayaka is on food duty.

Allen: You aren't on food duty today.

Sayaka: I know. I just wanted to help out.

Allen: I'm always telling her that she needs to worry about herself more. I apologize. She's just shy. Then again, the reason she is shy is sitting at this table.

Allen looks at Y/N (XYZ).

Y/N (XYZ): Why are you looking at me for?

Allen: Don't worry about. It's not my place to say. She'll tell you when she's ready. Anyway, she covers my shifts. I'm glad she loves to help people.

Sylvio: Can she refill my tea?

Y/N (XYZ) slaps Sylvio.

Allen: I'm still a little skeptical though. (Points to Y/N (Standard)) You look like the guy from Duel Academy.

Y/N (Standard): I get that a lot.

Y/N (XYZ): He's our comrade, Allen. If you don't trust him then trust me.

Shay: If Yuto had been there, then there wouldn't have been so many casualties.

Sayaka: Yuya, did you say that your last name was Sakaki?

Yuya: It is. Do you have any information about my father?

Sayaka: He used to be our teacher. He just showed up one day in Heartland. But when Duel Academy attacked and when we needed him the most, he vanished.

Yuya: Aww man.

Meanwhile, Zuzu wakes on the ground next to a building.

Zuzu: Ow. Where am I? Is this Paradise City? Then again, I don't recognize where I am. The last I remember is being sucked into a wormhole.

Zuzu looks at her bracelet.

Zuzu: I wonder what Y/N (Standard) was trying to tell me.

Zuzu wanders around and finds out that she is in Duel Academy. Much to her dislike and surprise. Some parents commented that she must've escaped from Duel Academy because she was supposed to be there. Juvenile Officers run after but she runs away. She is then cornered. The officers activate their duel disks.

Zuzu: I guess I have no choice but to fight.

A cloaked woman jumps in between the two. She removes her cloak to reveal Alexis Rhodes.

Officer: She must be one of those students who escaped.

Alexis: It's going to be okay. Just stay back.

Alexis defeats three Juvenile Officers.

Zuzu: Thanks.

Alexis: Don't mention it. Now come with me if you want to live.

Zuzu: Sure.

Zuzu and Alexis ride on a boat.

Zuzu: What's your name?

Alexis: Alexis. You?

Zuzu: My name is Zuzu. I can't believe I'm in Duel Academy. I wonder if Y/N from this dimension is here.

Alexis: Have you seen my boyfriend?

Zuzu: Well I did see him duel once.

Alexis: What deck was he using?

Zuzu: A Red Eyes Deck. He had a girl named Celina with him.

Alexis: Hmph. He was normal when you met him. Figures.

Zuzu: You angry at him?

Alexis: A little. We're on a little break from each other.

Zuzu: What happened?

Alexis: Well, he left Duel Academy a while ago but then returned for some unknown reason. Then I found out it was because it was for Celina.

Zuzu: You don't like her very much do you?

Alexis: I like her enough but she has always been Y/N's (Fusion) first girl. She won that right in a duel once but that was a long time ago. Then he began to change. He was given a purple jacket which showed that he was of a high position. Then he turned back into his Blue Eyes Master persona. That persona is terrifying. I tried to get him to leave with me after I discovered the truth about Duel Academy.

Flashback

Alexis is walking through the halls with Blair Flannigan.

Blair: We have to get out of here.

Alexis: I know. Just keep calm.

Blue Eyes Master appears.

Blue Eyes Master: Where are you off to?

Alexis: Just on a walk.

Blue Eyes Master: I'm hurt that you'd lie to me.

Blair: Y/N (Fusion), you know what we did at the XYZ Dimension. You led the charge. Not to mention kidnapped another girl. Just like the other you kidnapped.

Blue Eyes Master: I suggest you go back to class and I promise to forget about this whole thing.

Blair: I'm sorry but I can't. Come with us.

Blue Eyes Master just smirks and then turns Blair into a card.

Alexis: Blair! Y/N (Fusion), how could you? She loved you!

Blue Eyes Master: And super annoying. Her crush was cute but still. Now, Alexis, let's head back.

Alexis: Sorry but I won't. If you won't come with me, then we're on a break.

Blue Eyes Master: Not that big of a deal. I still have the Tyler Sisters and most importantly, Celina.

Alexis: I'm not going back.

Alexis activates a spell which sends a blast at Blue Eyes Master. The smoke clears and Alexis escapes.

End of flashback.

Alexis: That was the last that I saw of him.

Zuzu: That's terrible. He must've been awful.

Alexis: He wasn't always. He's saved me several times but that Blue Eyes Deck started to corrupt him and then they learned how to brainwash him.

Alexis and Zuzu arrive at a location where she sees Yusho Sakaki.

Zuzu: Yusho?

Meanwhile back at the hideout, the group is still talking but not with Y/N (XYZ) and Shay present.

Allen: I remember when they attacked. Y/N (XYZ), Yuto, and Shay took a turn for the worst.

Yuya: What do you mean?

Allen: They became very dark and scary. I understand why Y/N (XYZ) turned that way though. Ever since Lulu was captured, he hasn't been the same.

Yuya: She must've been very important to him.

Allen: The two dated for years. She was someone able to keep his other side in check but that's a long story.

Yuya: Well, we have no idea where Zuzu is. I guess we have to find my father since he might be here.

Allen: Lulu talked about your father a lot. He taught her about making the world smile.

Yuya: That's my father for you. That's the way it should be.

Y/N (Standard): If someone mentions anything about "smiles" again, I'll lose it.

Allen: What's wrong with you?

Yuya: He's always been skeptical about that saying.

Y/N (Standard): After all we've been through, how can you still say that?

No one answers. Y/N (Standard) gets up to leave.

Y/N (Standard): I'm going for a walk.

Yuya: Be careful.

Y/N (Standard): I will.

Y/N (Standard) walks away when he comes face to face with a cloaked man.

Cloaked Man: What are you doing here?

Y/N (Standard): I'm looking for my father.

Cloaked Man: What's his name? I can help you. I'm good at hunting down people.

Y/N (Standard): Who are you?

Cloaked Man: Just answer the question.

Y/N (Standard): I'm not telling you.

Cloaked Man: Fine. If you won't then I'll duel it out of you!

Y/N (Standard): Very well.

The Cloaked Man activates his duel disk.

Y/N (Standard): I recognize that duel disk. You're from Duel Academy.

Cloaked Man: How obersvant. Now face me!

Y/N (Standard): It's time to duel!

Cloaked Man: Cyberse? That's impossible. Where did you get those cards?

Cloaked Man: Link 4? Even with that monster it's still weaker than mine.

Cloaked Man: I'm fine. I'm returning. The professor has something that he might want to hear about. Has the Blue Eyes Master returned?

???: He has.

Cloaked Man: Good. It's time that I introduced him to Cyberse Monsters. Then nothing will stand in his way.

The Cloaked Man removes his hood to reveal Aster Phoenix.
