Y/N is dueling against Gong at You Show Duel School. In the middle of the duel, the system used to duel shuts down. Skip Boyle is in tears.

Skip: How are we supposed to continue to be a school is we have no system? We're doomed.

Y/N: Don't worry. We'll think of something.

The door open and in walks Nico Smiley.

Nico: Hello. Is this the You Show Duel School?

Skip: Indeed it is! How can we help you?

Nico: I am here with an offer.

Skip: We're listening.

Nico: I'm the agent for the current champion, The Sledgehammer. He has issued a challenge to the son of You Show Sakaki.

Y/N: Why me?

Nico: The Sledgehammer was supposed to duel your father for the title. Your father went missing before the match and the Sledgehammer became champion by default. He wants to earn the title the correct way.

Skip: Offer refused. You will not put Y/N against the champion to humiliate him!

Nico: If you do go through with the duel, then we're willing into install a new system for this school!

Skip: Well, when you put it that way...

Zuzu slaps Skip with her fan.

Zuzu: What did you just say?

Skip: What about the good of the school?

Zuzu: What about the good of Y/N?

Y/N steps forward.

Y/N: I'll duel the Sledgehammer.

Nico: You sure?

Y/N: Yes. I was adopted by You Show. He's basically my father as well. I'll duel him.

Zuzu: Y/N, are you sure?

Gong: You should know Y/N by now, Zuzu. Once his mind is set on something, he doesn't back off.

Y/N: What do you say, Nico? Will the Sledgehammer accept my challenge? My father was Yugi Muto. My real name is Y/N Muto. I'm the son of the King of Games!

Nico: Now that is an exciting matchup! I'm sure he won't refuse!

Nico leaves. Zuzu and Yuya approach Y/N.

Zuzu: Are you sure that was wise to reveal who you really are?

Y/N: It was bound to come out sooner or later. I'm not going to let anyone talk my father down. I'll make dad proud.

Zuzu walks over to Y/N.

Y/N: You going to slap me?

Zuzu: No but if you lose then I'll slap you until you have a concussion!

Y/N: It's so sweet that you care so much.

Zuzu slaps Y/N.

Y/N: Ow! What was that for?

Zuzu sighs and walks away. The day of the match arrives and the stadium is full of people. The champion stands in the ring waiting for his opponent.

Nico: Do we have a great duel in store for you! The song of the King of Games has come forward! The champion has come to take the title!

Y/N appears wearing Yuya's pendant and the Millennium Puzzle. 

Y/N: Dad, I know Atem is gone but I need his help today.

Nico: Let the duel begin! The computer has selected Castle of Chaos as the Action field! Let's do this!

Sledgehammer: The title of King of Games will be mine!

Y/N: You keep dreaming!

Y/N/ Sledgehammer: Let's duel!

Turn 1- Y/N

Y/N: 4000 LP/ Sledgehammer: 4000 LP

Y/N: I'll start. My turn. Magic card: Dark Magical Circle, activate! I draw the top 3 cards of my deck and then add one card that has Dark Magician in its text. I drew Dark Magician so therefore I can add him to my hand! Turn end.

Nico: The challenger sets up his field but summons no monster! That will be a big mistake!

Y/N: (Thoughts) I can't because I have no good cards in my hand. All of them were spells except Stargazer Magician. Why did I have these cards in my deck again?

Turn 2- Sledgehammer

Y/N: 4000 LP/ Sledgehammer: 4000 LP

Sledgehammer: You are no King of Games! I will destroy you for insulting me! My turn! I draw! I activate the spell: Feast of the Wild LV5! This lets me summon Swamp Battleguard and Lava Battleguard from my hand!

Swamp Battleguard: Level 5- 1800 ATK/ 1500 DEF

Lava Battleguard: Level 5- 1550 ATK/ 1800 DEF

Sledgehammer: Now I tribute both monsters to summon Battleguard King!

Battleguard King: Level 8- 3000 ATK/ 1100 DEF

Sledgehammer: Battleguard King, attack the false King of Games directly!

Y/N: Ahh!

Y/N: 4000 LP - - -> 1000 LP

Sledgehammer: You are no King of Games! I place a card facedown and end my turn. It doesn't matter what you do! You can't win!

Nico: The champion takes a big bite out of the challenger's LP! Can the challenger stage a comeback?

Turn 3- Y/N

Y/N: 1000 LP/ Sledgehammer: 4000 LP

Y/N: (Thoughts) He's right. I can't win. I got nothing in my deck to beat that monster. Dark Magician is my strongest monster in my deck. I have Thousand Knives and Dark Magic attack in my hand but I can't use them unless Dark Magician is on the field. I can't win. (Out loud) My turn. Draw!

Y/N looks at his card.

Y/N: (Thoughts) What did I draw? Timegazer Magician? I can't use that! I might save myself from an attack but I'm sure he'll summon another monster to finish me off! I can't win!

The Millenium Puzzle begins to glow.

Y/N: (Thoughts) I guess I have no choice.

???: No! Don't summon that monster in DEF mode!

Y/N: Huh?

Suddenly Atem appears.

Y/N: Atem?

Atem: Yes, Y/N Muto. I am here to help you win this duel.

Y/N: You going to possess me?

Atem: No. You don't need me to do that. You have what you need in your hand.

Y/N: I can't do anything with this hand. Timegazer Magician, Stargazer Magician, Dark Magician, Thousand Knives, Dark Magic Attack, and Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon. There is nothing I can do.

Y/N's pendant begins to glow.

Atem: Look again!

Suddenly Timegazer Magician and Stargazer Magician begin to change.

Y/N: What the?

Atem: Now win this duel!

Atem vanishes.

Y/N: Wait! Come back!

Nico: The challenger must be out of options since he's taking so long.

Zuzu looks with worry in her eyes.

Zuzu: Y/N.

Y/N's eyes begin to glow.

Y/N: Time to end this! I use Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum scale! I'm taking control of this duel starting now! I can now summon monsters from Levels 2 through 7 all at the same time! Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the Arc of Victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action! Turn up the heat, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Come forth my most faithful servant, Dark Magician!
