(Reader's pov) Flashback:

I remember when we first met. I was a new scientist at the military base he worked at. Leon looked so cold. I mean ot made sense since, he had lost so many of his comrades.

It made me even more determined to stay by his side. He'd get injured and I'd treat him, while running tests on how to make him and others stronger. It worked eventually.

Whenever I got the chance I'd epar with Leon. I had plenty of experience since I was a former military General. I became a scientist to get a slow pace. Soon enough, Leon warmed up to me. I felt delighted!

But sadly all nice things end. And our military base got shutdown. Everyone dispersed.

Present time:

Here I am visiting the abandoned base. I felt nostalgia the moment I looked at it.

Feeling like someone was watching me, I tensed and fished out my daggers, then threw it.

"Woah y/n it's me!"

"Leon?!"

I run and hug him. "It's good to see you!" "I tried contacting you, but you never answered"

"Yeah, sorry" "got busy being an escort for multiple vips"

I nod. "That's makes sense!"

"Right we have a lot to catch up on" "Let's head to a Cafe for food" I said to him.

"Sounds good"
