It wasn’t long before we reached McDonald's and Burger King and ordered our food.

Alex suggests I try McDonald's McFlurry, to which I politely declined, only to have him order it anyway.

He hands me a oreo filled cup with ice cream at the bottom. I peer down inside the cup screaming with sugar.

Antony never liked the thought of me having too much sweets, he always said I was only allowed to have dessert three times out of the seven days of the week.

Rule number eighty-four.

Broken.

This would be my fourth dessert of the week and it was only Friday.

“Did you hear me?” I raise my head up to Alex. His eye brows drew together as he was only focused on the road ahead.

“No.” I say quietly.

He shakes his head, a smirk dancing on his lips, “I said do you wanna have sex?”

I open my mouth to speak, preparing to sound as compose as possible, “n- no I’m a v- virg- virgin. I c- can't, I mean- I w- won't!”

He just chuckles, ugh! He did it again and I was honestly angry, I didn’t understand why he found it so amusing. It was seriously frustrating on my part to be flushed at the thought of sex.

“I’m only joking babe. Seriously your face is so-”

“Please stop, it's not funny.” I say bracing my arm up against the bottom of the window and resting my head on my open palm.

I tense, but relax once I feel Alex’s arm around my waist, “okay, I’m sorry.”

I gasp onto his hand that laid around my waist with my unused arm, “where are we going?” I finally ask, we have been driving for thirty minutes on the highway.

“What I actually asked was; was it okay if we went out of town. But since we are already close to our destination, it's too late.” Alex grins my way.

“Okay. Where are we going out of town?”

He grins again, this time at the road, “it’s a surprise, babe. You’ll love it!” He ensures and I grin back.

Ten minutes passed by before we pull up to a forest opening. I look over at Alex with my eyebrows drawn together as he parks the car.

“Are you going to kill me and stash my body in the woods?”

He laughs while leaving the car, “you are insane. I’d never so such thing, well not yet at least.” Alex rolls his eyes mockingly. I try to smile, hoping he was only joking. He likes to do that a lot, I’ve noticed.

He walks around to my door and open it for me, getting hold of my hand. He pulls me out of the car and we walk towards the path lined with trees.

I jump, frightened at the sound of the car locking.

“Calm down, it's only me locking my car.” Alex runs his fingers through my hair and I instantly calm, putting all my trust in him.

He better not kill me.

It wasn’t a long walk to our ‘Place' as Alex likes to call it. He had his hands covering my eyes, so I had to trust him more than I wanted to.

He stops and I stop. I expect something to hit me in the head, or something.

But nothing happens, and I open my eyes, only to notice that Alex had uncover my eyes a long time ago and I was the one keeping myself in the dark.

“You’re so weird!” He comments, but I don't respond.

I was too stunned at what he had done for me.

“Alex, I- I.”

I twirl around, looking at all the lights that surrounded our blanket. It was like I was in space, I loved it!

Alex guides me to the blanket and I take a seat next to him. “Alex? You did all this? For me?”

I was still in shock, how did he- why did he do this?

“Um, well, do you like it?” He asks nervously, causing me to chuckle.

“Yes!” I engulf him into a big hug.

“Okay, chill I didn't just propose to you.” I ignore his comment and hug him tighter, to which he groans to.

Seated on the blanket and staring at the city below up, Alex continuously runs his hand through my hair.

I lean against him, taking in his muscular scent.

“Is this why you missed school?” I ask.

“Yes, and partially because I woke up late.”

I giggle, enjoying the view.

It became silent, but I wasn’t afraid of this silence. Instead I loved it, just the idea that we were both thinking of each other made me all jiggly inside.

I loved this feeling.

“Hey, do you want to come to a party with me tonight?”

I smile and nod against his chest. His chest rumbles with laughter and I snuggly up closer to him.

“I take this will be your first party?”

“Yeah. But I’ll have you to show me the ropes. Right?”

“Right. I’ll pick you up at seven. Deal?”

“Deal.”
