We hit 100k w h a t how
thank you so much
I'm-
Also, I told you that this book was ending really soon and I wasn't lying; this is the last chapter.

Jungkook would often look back on how much he had changed over the course of almost a year. Not just sexuality wise, but just in general. He'd be lying if he said that he believed himself to be a good person before he met Jimin, because he wasn't - he was pretty horrible to a lot of the people around him actually.

Collecting hearts only just to throw them away, Jungkook always assumed love to just be some sort of façade; an illusion that everyone believed was real.

When he met Jimin, however, he realized how oblivious he had been the entire time.

"Jungkook, you alright?" Like many times before, Jimin's voice pulled Jungkook out of his thoughts, the older squeezing his hand as they walked down the sidewalk. It was a beautiful day, the sun beaming down on both of them; Jungkook watching as the sunlight illuminated the blonde strands of hair atop Jumin's head. "You seem quiet."

"I'm just thinking." Jungkook responded, smiling as Jimin leaned his head on his shoulder as they walked. "Thinking about you, thinking about how much you've changed me."

Jimin raised an eyebrow, directing his gaze up at his boyfriend. The slight breeze tousled his hair, blowing the strands into his eyes.

"Changed you?" The older asked, lifting his head off of Jungkook's shoulder for a moment. "For the better, I'm hoping." He chuckled softly, sighing as he looked up at the blue sky above them.

"Of course for the better." Jungkook laughed, pulling Jimin even closer to him. "I don't know if you noticed, but I was kind of a dick when you first met me."

Jimin couldn't help but crack a smile, nodding in response to Jungkook's words.

"Yeah I noticed." He sighed. "But I mean, you had a lot going on up here." Jimin reached up to tap Jungkook's forehead. "Didn't you?"

"I remember that I thought about you every single hour, of every single day - and I still do - but I used to feel really... Guilty about it." The younger spoke, looking down to catch gazes with Jimin. "It was just because I was so sure of myself and of who I was, and I didn't believe it was possible so late into my life to change this drastically."

"Change drastically?" Jimin laughed, eyes crinkling up as he did so. "You didn't grow two heads Jungkook, you just tried some dick and liked it."

"Shut up." Jungkook grinned, pushing Jimin playfully as they walked. "I mean that I was positive that I'd probably end up dying alone because I never believed I could settle down with someone." He sighed. "Love was... still is a terrifying thought to me. I'm not sure why, I'm just always a bit scared that I'll fall harder than the other person."

"I fell so hard for you that I broke my heart a few times." Jimin responded, eyes full of sincerity as he spoke. "But it was worth it, and do you think I mind sparing a few tears if it means that one day you can confidently say that you love me?"

Jungkook felt his heart soar, and he stopped and wondered for what felt like the billionth time in their relationship, how did he end up with somebody so absolutely amazing?

The younger couldn't stop himself from grinning, and ducked down so that he could press his lips to Jimin's. The older smiled against his lips, halting his steps so that he could turn around fully and kiss Jungkook more comfortably. Jungkook rested his hands on Jimin's waist, sly fingers poking just underneath the hem of his shirt.

"You're amazing, you know that right?" Jungkook spoke against Jimin's lips, pulling away soon after.

"You tell me everyday." Jimin laughed, leaning forward and pulling Jungkook into a hug. He tucked his head into the crook of his boyfriend's neck, not caring one bit that they were standing out in public. "What would you be doing right now if you hadn't've met me?"

"What time is it?" Jungkook asked, making Jimin raise an eyebrow and check his watch.

"10:30, why?" Jungkook laughed softly.

"If I never met you... I'd probably be getting out of bed." He spoke, only continuing once he paused to laugh at Jimin's unamused expression. "I'd take a look at whoever slept beside me, and then I'd walk to my own house without leaving a trace."

Jimin frowned.

"What about Mina? Wouldn't you have yourself a pretty girlfriend?" He asked, Jungkook shrugging in response.

"If I'm going to be honest, I probably wouldn't've been with her for this long." He sighed. "I'd usually leave them before their feelings for me could develop too much, because I was scared of love."

Jimin nodded slowly, reaching down to intertwine their fingers before he lifted his head up and began walking again.

"Hey Hyung." It was after a few minutes of silence that Jungkook spoke again, Jimin turning his head to show his interest to the younger.

Jungkook was ready.

He knew that he was when he woke up this morning, he knew that he was a few weeks ago. But now, it was more like if he didn't tell Jimin, he was going to explode. He needed the older to know what he was thinking, and what he felt. Not telling Jimin both of those things was what had damaged them in the past, so Jungkook wasn't planning on keeping anything to himself again.

"Go on Jungkook." Jimin prompted, looking at his boyfriend expectantly.

Jungkook took a deep breath, looking straight into Jimin's eyes.

"I love you." When he spoke the words it was if it was easier to breathe, any worries that he had left him immediately.

Jimin stopped walking once more, eyes wide as he took in what Jungkook had just said. Once he processed it, he broke out into the widest grin the younger had ever seen on him, and he pulled his hand away from Jungkook's so that he could bring both of his hands up to his face.

"I... I love you too." He beamed, lunging forward to pull Jungkook into a tight hug. "I really do. There's no need to be scared, I love you so much."

"I'm not scared." Jungkook sighed, running his hand through Jimin's hair. "I love you, and I need you to know that."

Jimin nodded, pulling away and looking into his boyfriend's eyes.

"I told you that I'd wait." He smiled, Jungkook nodding and mirroring Jimin's expression.

"I always believed that you would." The younger responded, "Not many would, which just reaffirms how amazing you are."

"Stop it." Jimin laughed, bringing his hand up to flick Jungkook's forehead.

"Hey Jungkook-Ah!" Jungkook kept his arm around Jimin's waist as he turned around to face whoever called his name, a smile on his face as saw Mina walking in his direction; hand in hand with another girl.

"Noona!" He smiled, tightening his grip on Jimin as he felt the older tense up. It wasn't that Jimin was jealous, it was simply that he felt uncomfortable talking to Mina when he was the one that her boyfriend left her for.

"Guess what?" Mina giggled, a smirk on her face that had Jungkook raising an eyebrow.

"What?" He asked, allowing his eyes to drift over to the other girl. Her hair was blonde and tied back into a ponytail, and she was shorter than Mina, but only by a small bit.

"Your boyfriend is cuter than you." Jimin's eyebrows shot up at the statement, a shy smile stretching across his face. He couldn't suppress his laugh as Mina stuck her tongue out at Jungkook playfully, and leaned into the younger much more relaxed than before.

"Jungkook and I are heading into town, want to come with?" Jimin asked, Jungkook smiling down at him as he spoke. Jimin decided then that he didn't want any more tense atmospheres in his life, so he would tie up any loose ends that he needed to.

"We'd love to, that's fine with you right Jungkook-Ah? We won't be interrupting on your couple bonding time?" Mina asked, the girl beside her letting out a small laugh.

"You've already done that, so you might as well join us."

And as the four of them walked together, Jungkook found it incredible how both his current and past partner were so forgiving. He never in a million years would've thought that this is how his life would end up playing out, but he wasn't in any way complaining.

"So Jungkook, let's get things straight here-" Mina began, Jungkook laughing as  he interrupted her.

"There's nothing straight about any of this."
