jihyeon's pov

***

i walked inside the café, feeling nervous all over. the thought of meeting my lover makes me jump in joy, but at the same time, we're only meeting because we're confused. sad, right?

his light, adorable face greeted me as i enter. jungwon looked confused, his eyebrows furrowed while biting his bottom lip before talking, "are you jihyeon? the one that i talk to using written letters?"

i nodded, "yes, i am. nice to finally meet you, jungwon."

"you're not the jihyeon that i had a crush on. does that mean i was talking to the wrong person all the time?" he mumbled. i think he is disappointed, but i don't have the right to judge.

a wave of thoughts splashes through my mind as i try to cope with the current situation.

i'm not the girl that he likes, right?

he was planning to be with the other girl not me, right?

the flirting was not meant for me.

"i'm sorry, but i'm so confused. why did you write to me? how did you?" i uttered, worried and scared of what might happen next. are we going to avoid each other after this?

jungwon sighed, he looks drained and stressed out as well, "you have the same name as my crush. i think they sent me the wrong address, thinking that i was looking for you."

"i think this wasn't supposed to happen. but i feel kind of played. i'm not the girl that you like, so i guess i'm not needed here," i tried to sound courageous even though my tears are about to come out.

"wait!"

jungwon shouted. i left him, not letting him to say anything. i'm disappointed. i thought someone really liked me, but i guess not.

3 weeks later.

"jihyeon! someone sent you a letter again, come get it!" my mom shouted from afar, making me go outside of my room.

a letter?
