dear jen,

i don't really see the point of crossing off a day on your calendar as soon as you wake up. doesn't the cross mean you're already done with the day? but you're not, you're just starting it, which is actually a quite nice thought, because even though it means you have a whole entire day to fuck up, it also means you have a whole entire day to do something really good in.

(the good thing doesn't have to last the entire day, though.)

so i cross my calendar off before i go to sleep, which i kinda think is one of the only ideas that i have which is a good one. and it's a nice feeling. because now it seems like i'm fucking up less and less days as i go along.
