Today was another expedition outside of the walls. Everyone was on edge, others were frightened. On the outside I was calm, but on the inside it was like a tornado of emotions, but I tried to keep it down for the others. To them I was a brave soldier who appears to have no fear, but underneath all of the façade I do have fear...fear of failing everyone from freedom.

As the traitors threat humanity

How can we avoid a tragedy

We should overcome this misery

We must unite

"Brat, what are you doing?" I looked behind me and I saw Captain Levi staring at me with his usual emotionless face.

" Oh, nothing sir." I blushed a little, looking over at Levi who is still looking at me. He nods then he walks over to my horse (H/N) and rubbing their snout.

" I know you are afraid (Y/N)."

My eyes widen and I looked over at him.

"Excuse me?" He just looked at me as if it was obvious. "Don't act like you're tough (Y/N), I can see it in your eyes." I looked down at the ground, ' he knows....'

" You're afraid (Y/N)."

'Enemies that should have all been drawn away

Watch the world go down as they are leading us astray

Will we find a way to decimate the devil's lies

I shall spare no life nor souls this time around

Use your anger in this battle, free us from the pain now

I was still looking down at the ground, tears welling up in my eyes. 'How did he know?....It's like he read me like a book.'

I looked up at him, " I-I don't know what you're talking about sir." I looked over at my friends who where talking to each other.

" I know you (Y/N), you can't hide your fear from me." I closed my eyes tight trying not to cry in front of Levi, the one who I look up to.....the one I love.

"Captain....."

"I understand you are afraid, everyone is, it's ok to be afraid." I looked at him, " How would you understand captain?"

He sighed and took my hand in his, " Because believe it or not (Y/N), I do have fear too, it's human to be afraid, but it's also human to over come it and fight for your life and everyone else's." I blushed as he held my hand and looked me straight in the eyes.

" But Captain, I don't want to show everyone else I'm afraid, they look up to me, I want to prove to them that if you have no fear, you will be able to get stronger."

" I understand (Y/N), but you have to overcome your fear."

'The Promised Land, our mighty land

Our future has an open end

We dedicate to life's debate

All that's vanished in this moment

" You have to forget all that you're afraid of and fight for everything you stand for, our land, friends and our freedom." I looked at him in amazement, spoken like a true soldier. Then I looked over at my friends who then turned to look at me and they saluted me.

I smiled a little and saluted them back. My smile then turned into a frown as I looked back at Levi.

" I don't want to fail them Levi...."

" You could never fail them (Y/N), as long as you stay strong for them." A tear fell from my eye. Levi then gently wiped the tear from my cheek with his thumb.

" You're a great soldier (Y/N), you are strong, beautiful, and I know you will overcome everything and fight for freedom."

I blushed and smiled a tiny bit, " Thank you Captain."

'Dedicate your heart all for the greater good

The deceivers of the days gone by will face their end

"Levi."

"What?" I looked at him puzzled. " Call me Levi."

I smiled and nodded, " Yes sir, Levi." Then we heard Erwin calling all of us that a titan was near, and we all saddled up on our horses and rode off towards the titan.

'What does it take to kill the beast

What does it take to spoil its feast

What does it mean to take its life

To pierce the heart with one big knife'

We rode to where the titan was and we geared up and we used our maneuver gear to get close to the beast. I landed on the neck of the titan and used my sword and cut into his neck. I didn't notice another titan was behind me until it had me in it's grasp.

"(Y/N)!!!!!!!!"

I heard my name being called, but I was more focused on the titan. I struggled to get out of his hand, I looked up at the creature's face and froze. His face was terrifying.

I then took a deep breath and remembered what Levi told me, " You have to forget all that you're afraid of and fight for everything you stand for, our land, friends and our freedom."

Just as the titan was about to put me in its mouth, my arms were free and I sliced at its hand. It roared as it let me go, then I used my gear to maneuver me towards its neck and with anger in my eyes, I used all my strength, and sliced deep into its neck, blood splattered all over my face, then the titan fell on the ground dead.

'Enigmatic monsters just pretending to be men

They will all be driven out as quickly as we can

There is a deep rage that keeps on running through our veins

They will all be driven far away

What awaits in all the paths we chose and do regret now

Precious wins we so desire or that hell awaits

Flowering our dedicated lives, beyond the veil

The promised land beyond the paradise '

After the titan fell, everyone started to gather around it to search for me.

"(Y/N)!!!!" I heard Eren scream, he looked around frantically.

"Guys calm down I'm all right." I said as I emerged from above the titan, with its blood still all over me, with a smirk on my face. All my friends sighed in relief and came to over to help me off of the titan. As I landed on the ground, Levi came up to me and hugged me tight,

" Stupid brat, I thought you were going to die."

"You think I will die that easy?" I looked at him with a smirk on my face.

"No, and I hope it wont be soon." I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Thanks to what you said Levi, I fought to save my life and not worry about my fear, thank you Levi." I hugged him tight with my head on his shoulder. He blushed and looked at me with a small smile on his face as he held me tight.

"Anytime (Y/N)."

And this is where I'll end this, and again I'm sorry I haven't updated lately, and some of the lyrics are out of place that's my fault and I'm sorry for that. This one isn't the best I tried to make it good for the song, plus it's kinda rushed :( anyway I hope you guys enjoy it :)
