Leyland Adventures Chapter Five: Part Two

"So you don't recall anything from your school experiences?" She asked in disbelief.

"Nope. I only remember an extremely extraordinary and tragic moment I had with a special woman. I see her sometimes in my dreams, but I could never identify her." He answered, running a hand through the forest of his hair.

"How horrific."

"No no, it's fine at the moment. By the way, do you mind if I ask you something?"

"Of course," she smiled.

"In the arena, that Golden God guy. He summoned some kind of goddess made of lightning to assist him. Is that a common ability for gods like him, or does he have some special power?"

"The remarkable ability to summon archaic deities is gifted to those who possess vast amounts of power. When deities perish, their elemental traits allow their souls to remain alive. For instance, the soul of a Fire-Type god can be contained in special items which store ample amplitudes of heat. In most cases, their souls are able to be awakened. A being who shares a common elemental type and immense power will be able to infuse themselves with the deity's potency. Golden God fused with the previous goddess of lightning, Adsurhi. She was one of the numerous godly beings who was present in early years of the Kula Region and the guardian of the Lightning Gemstone. She was stormy, brash, and excessively violent. The power of her mighty Discharge Bow was a key part of her being as she could emit an unparalleled plethora of electricity in the shape of an arrow. A single strike from her would obliterate an entire population."

"Wow... that's incredible!" He exclaimed.

"Yes, though her power doesn't compare to modern times. As time passed, more omnipotent Lightning-Type fairies introduced themselves and surpassed her abilities. Woefully, Adsurhi's ego and jealousy got the better of her. She took her own life once the current guardian of the gemstone was appointed, her sister."

His tepid blood ran cold and stood still for a moment; his thoughts paused to reiterate that statement in his mind until a tropical paradise overpopulated with healthy palm trees came into view. Along the hills of sand, large huts constructed of wood wearing hats of scented green grass laid across the area. The pellucid water glistened as the flowing winds carried the smell of salt and food. The central towering hotel stood magnificently with the colors of caramel and parmesan on the exterior. Tysashi's eyes stared at the hotel before an unfamiliar voice caught his attention.

"Hello there, my name is Rico and welcome to Palm Tree Beach. You must be Tysashi, the one who defeated Golden God?"

Rico was blessed with sleek, pale skin that never seemed to break out. His alluring green eyes and hay-like blond hair matched perfectly with his red Hawaiian shirt patterned with surfboards and cream shorts.

"Yeah, I'm Tysashi. Nice to meet you."

"We've come here in search for a Tropical Miku Berry; it shouldn't take long." said the princess.

Preserving a broad smile revealing his shining, pure white teeth, Rico permitted the duo to enter. Crowds of lively fairies occupied the area. Many of them waved at Tysashi and he waved back. Not too long after, their destination was reached. A wooden cutout of a sideways, split coconut with fruits placed inside rested on the top of the hut. Though the exterior lacked decorations and charm, the interior failed to ever reach such blandness. The ceiling fans with blades shaped like palm trees leaves sent a cool breeze flying around the shop. Extensive bamboo plants built the unsullied floor; the sky-blue walls with a seashell pattern brought a sense of ease and serenity. Various fruits were sealed behind a wall of glass. The front counter was left vacant before a cream-colored woman with long, radiant golden locks in a half-up braided style revealed herself. Her usual outfit consisted of a pink sleeveless athletic shirt with a white outline of a conjoined palm tree. The caption underneath read, "Relax and unwind." Light blue jean shorts shielded a fraction her firm, shaved legs. Her gleaming wings, delicate and average in size. In mere seconds, her lime-green eyes reviewed a noticeable figure.

"Hey, you're Tysashi Aerosmith, right?!" Her buoyant shouts were uncontained as her cheeks grew a reddish tint. Her eyes locked on to his, awaiting a response.

Smiling, he nodded.

"Wow, you're much more cuter in person! I never saw the showdown, but I've heard so much about you! A boy with amazing strength, bravery, and unbelievably handsome!"

A flurry of red struck his face due to her endless sprout of compliments and ecstatic voice. Before their conversation could extend further, Aradressa announced their purpose.

"One Tropical Miku Berry, right away, princess!" At light-speed, she provided the requested item within a plastic bag. "Don't worry about paying for it!"

"Thank you, ma'am," he said while grasping and placing the banana inside the bag.

"It's Lily, Lily Rosemire. Could you please tell me how you endured the pain during your battles before you leave? I'm curious to know how you remained strong and focused."

Her glittering gaze lured his attention. Facing each other, he spoke.

"I just thought of the people I'm fighting for, I keep in mind how much is at stake if I lost. I would upset many of my friends back at Levono, things aren't exactly the same if I'm not there."

"I see, you're truly an inspiration to me. Have a great day!" She sang jauntily.

Exchanging goodbyes, the pair moved on.

"Alright, the last place is the desert, right?"

"Correct. The travel will be remarkably lengthy so please ensure a firm grip on my hands as I will navigate us there."

With a nod, he arranged the bag around his neck before clasping her spongy hands. With her animate wings taking flight, the journey to Calleri Desert commenced.
