Leyland Adventures Chapter Eight: Part Three

Tysashi held the sword in his free hand while Aradressa followed the light. The sword granted them the ability to breath underwater, allowing an underwater cavern to be found. Inside the poorly lit cavern rested cracked stones and harmless fish. The light then led to a large purple clam resting near a school of much smaller green and yellow fish. Tysashi rubbed the creature in an attempt to awaken it, but no luck.

Her mind analyzed the name of the clam, 'Love Lust Clam', taking the meaning of 'love' and 'lust', therefore taking Tysashi's hand and placing it on her right breast. She purposely pushed down on his hand so he'd mimic the same action.

Her breast was as soft as memory foam, blushes formed on both their faces as the clam had risen from its resting cycle, the creature had opened its mouth, revealing a grey pearl with a pink heart in the center and the second ship in a bottle. Tysashi secured the pearl while Aradressa took hold of the bottle. The light from the sword was redirected to the location of another item. Once they resurfaced, he read from the second statement of love after removing the handmade ship and giving it to Aradressa. The statement read the following text.

"Love can come in many forms. However, only the purest and most truthful form is the one that matters most. A person should be loved for their qualities and personality instead of their looks and wealth. Don't allow greed consume you as that same thing will demolish your life. Love was intended and will always be intended as a feeling of truth and great affection for one another. Never shall love be a ruse for sexual activity, rather allow it to be the absolute most brilliant thing that has ever been brought into our modern world."

He placed the piece of paper back into the bottle. The sword's light had shone to a different location, this time leading the two to a single small structure sitting in the water imprisoning a stone heart in chains. Tysashi attempted to free the heart from the chains, unsuccessful.

Crystal Heart of Truthfulness, with a name similar to the previous objective, it didn't take long before she arranged the pieces of the puzzle.

"Tysashi, I've been trying to keep this away from you to protect but...my rival is returning to the Kula Region and she plans on invading the castle, possibly take you, and kill my mother. Her name is Cynthia, I've known her since first grade and she's always been jealous of me, even to the point where she wants to overthrow my mother."

"A rival? If she's your rival then she has to be just as powerful as you, right?"

"Correct, mother requested that I kill her as she has some of the gemstones. If she collects all of them, then my fate is clear. Sometimes, I fear that she's grown past my strength."

Tysashi clenched his fists tightly.

"Hey, I know that feeling but whatever happens we'll face it together and if you need to do it yourself, I understand."

"Thank you."

With a beautiful showcase of trust and truth, the heart had freed itself from the chains and crystallized itself into the required object. Excited, Tysashi took off to grab the heart.

The light then located our heroes to the leaf with written text and the bottle containing the first statement of love. The two found themselves near a vacant area of sand, seeing the seagulls pecking at plastic bottles and discarded trash. Tysashi took one step and the Crystal Heart put the seagulls under a love trance. The birds set down both items and flew away without a fight. He then read from the first statement of love.

"Love can be incredibly difficult to find, even more difficult to sustain, however it all depends on your actions. If you just wait for someone to approach you, you're wasting your time. If you approach the person yours, not only will you know whether your crush has feelings for you, but you will prove that you are confident which may increase your chances. Love can be found nearly everywhere, perhaps even your longtime friend or a person standing right next to you may be your love."

Tysashi placed the bottle in his pocket as Aradressa read from the leaf.

"Love is pure. Love is invaluable. Love is unmeasured. Love is life."

The weather had transitioned from sunny and clear sky to a setting sun and light orange sky as the two returned to Rico and Lily, seeing palm trees covered in lights, glistening water, sparkling sand, and a single small wooden table with two tall glasses of a delicious blue liquid called "Tital."

With the items on the table, silence surrounded them until an unfamiliar voice was heard.

"You have done well."

Alerted, he turned sharply. A towering woman entirely composed of water greeted him. Her fallen hair shielded her eyes.

"Aquiline!" Lily gasped, the goddess herself came unexpected. The others bowed.

Aquiline congratulated the two, no other pair was as truthful and trustworthy of each other.

"You are collecting the gemstones, yes?" Her voice, simply of an angel.

Tysashi nodded.

"I have one final challenge for the both of you."

"Whatever it is, we can handle it."

Just then, the goddess took herself to the water, submerging within it. The land began to rumble as an enormous beast arose from the water. The creature possessed slippery sky-blue skin with a line of white underneath it. With brass snake eyes, an intimidating set of teeth, and an extensive body like an eel, it proved to be a fearful organism to many.

Its eyes met with Tysashi's and the shark tooth necklace he wore, thus a furious roar broke him out of his silence.

"That is Tsunami, my precious Dragoneel." Aquiline stared at her pet, almost smiling.

Dragoneel, that word echoed in his mind.

Aradressa only gazed at the creature as she held her blade steady, her eyes wouldn't leave the danger. The shark tooth necklace began to shine, he held it and the object expanded and grew into a sword.

Tsunami's eyes widened as its whip-like whiskers launched themselves towards the land. Within an instant, Aradressa grabbed Tysashi and him away from the attack.

"Good luck."

Aquiline clapped twice, Tsunami unleashed an earthquake of sound as orbs of water began to spiral around him. Itching for a battle, Tysashi ran across the water heading towards his target. Aradressa didn't follow, she just looked for a weak point. Since the creature was partially a dragon, it should have very rough skin. She locked her eyes on the underside of the beast, the circular conjoined body appeared to be soft and easily penetrated.

It was decided, she took hold of Amyris's Sword and rushed towards him. The orbs of water were launched at Tysashi, he removed his hat and used it as a shield and to his surprise, the hat deflected the blast. Holding the hat in front of him, he threw the sword towards Tsunami, penetrating the stomach.

The creature broke the sound barrier once again with an ear-splitting roar before absorbing the sword within its body. It submerged itself underneath the water, before launching itself at Tysashi with an open mouth. He held it back just as Aradressa was able to land a critical hit on one section of its underside. The dragoneel wrapped its whiskers around the sword, initiating a game of tug-of-war. Seeing an opportunity, Tysashi launched a storm of flames, Tsunami consumed them before returning the attack towards Aradressa.

He placed the shield in front of him, believing that it would protect them against the counterattack.

However, the flames devoured the shield, though the whiskers of the beast were forcefully snapped off as Aradressa continued to hold the sword as the attack hit.

Their bodies were briefly submerged underwater from the knockback before resurfacing.

Its roar pushed the waves back as it became uncontrollable, with eyes ruby red, Tsunami swiftly targeted Tysashi and opened its jaw, only to trap the young hero in its mouth.

"Tysashi!"

Her roar wasn't comparable to the tears flowing down her face, to think all this time she was still holding back. Rage took control of her like a puppet, she didn't want to seriously hurt the creature but now she had no choice.

Three of the seven hearts glowed pink as the water began to boil. The popping bubbles represented her current state. Tsunami stared at her, her grin was powerful. Though the beast stood unaffected as it gave her the same fate, consumption. Tsunami roared proudly as it proceeded to return to Aquiline but before it could finish the journey, a sharp pain came.

He growled in confusion, still continuing to swim but the pain became more frequent, a burning feeling was inside of him. Painful roars escaped into the air before its stomach was slashed open and emerged both the princess and the boy from Lenovo. She carried him back to shore as the liquids were carried by the water.

Tsunami fell into the water, breathing softly.

"Well done, I should've expected nothing less from you two. Here is your reward." Aquiline presented a sapphire shard of the Aqua Gemstone that was formed within her body.

"Wait, a shard? What about the full gemstone?" Tysashi stared at Aquiline for an answer.

"Some gemstones will be separated into shards, you'll have to defeat more water monsters and once you do, the full gemstone will be formed but you'll have to defeat a stronger Tsunami to claim it."

"Wait but where do we-"

With that, Aquiline left, taking the dragoneel with her. Tysashi stared at the shard and his reflection told him that he'd be here longer.

Gleefully, Rico handed both their outfits back, folded in plastic covering.

"Thank you both choosing P.T.B for your romantic getaway, you guys can keep the sword and the bottles."

The night settled in, waves were exchanged as the trip back to the castle began with numerous discussions about today's events.

Tysashi traveled downstairs to eat, seeing Aradressa walk upstairs. He always questioned why she would always immediately retreat to her room but ignored it. Marissa joined him again, she inspected his face as his eyes couldn't separate themselves from the shard.

"So how are you feeling?" She asked, placing herself right behind him.

He sighed before giving a proper answer. "I mean, I thought I'd be collecting whole gemstones. If I have to defeat more monsters then that means I'll be here longer. My friends are really worried about me, if I stay any longer, my planet could be overtaken and I wouldn't be there to protect it."

"You need to collect four more shards. Your time here is far from over, Tysashi. It'll be awhile before you can return home, gemstones are difficult to acquire as their holders are powerful."

"Speaking of powerful, Aradressa told me about her rival and how she collected some of the gemstones. Now she's coming back."

"Yes, she is returning. Don't waste your energy protecting my daughter, she's more complex than she seems, capable of taking matters into her own hands."

"I understand."

"You two are required to go to a theme park tomorrow to meet Madam Grazel, her prediction ability surpasses mine so she should be able to tell you everything about Cynthia or at least her plans. While you're there, mention Corcyra to her as well."

"Alright, will do."

Marissa smiled, leaving the room. He finished his meal to clean his worries away with warm water.

Diary Entry #8

"Me and Tysashi went to Palm Tree Beach today and I had more lively time than I could ever foresee. First we talked on a nature trail then we swam together in tranquility inside a cavern until we were hunted by lethal organisms. Then we played volleyball however...it was as if I was being told what to do by another person because I went too far when returning the ball to Tysashi. I accidentally used my power to damage him and I apologized, thankfully I was cured by forgiveness though I continued to feel guilty. After that, we relaxed in an indoor hot spring area before getting sent on a scavenger hunt which I believe has brought us closer together...especially after one memorable action in the water. Once we acquired all the items, Aquiline congratulated us and presented one final challenge, to defeat her pet, Tsunami. The battle was somewhat difficult considering Tsunami's unpredictable patterns, one including consuming Tysashi. Something inside of me snapped...the voice was back. Holding my sword, I allowed the beast to consume me before making a path outward his insides...I've seen worse. Even then...was it...my Potential...no no...not now...I couldn't have allowed it to slip out so early. Many fairies struggle with finding and using their Potential...then again...I'm abnormal. We received a shard but I could tell Tysashi wasn't too happy with the prize...but I was rather relieved to obtain the shard but I can't be selfish, he has to return home...even if it means our time has to be limited. The day concluded with a new weapon and two bottles. Tomorrow, we are heading to an amusement park to gain insight on Cynthia and her plans. Fayemi...now would be the best time to come so we can tackle this together...friend."

End of Entry Eight.

Minutes later, Aradressa was prepared for rest as Tysashi came in.

"Tysashi...about the shard..."

"No, it's ok. Your mother told me that we just need to collect four more. Plus, I did say I enjoyed long adventures so I guess I'm eating my words now. I don't mind spending more time here but...I can't spend an entire year or something like that here though I guess it'll take as long as we make it."

"Even if we rush to find the other gemstones, we will run into multiple problems such as not being powerful enough to defeat the holders. We won't always defeat them on the first try and there are more pressing matters, such as Cynthia, Corcyra, and most likely the others who fought you."

"Yeah...you're right. I just hope they'll be ok. They can't last long emotionally without me. Anyway, we should get some sleep for tomorrow."

Aradressa agreed with his statement. His eyes were closed but hers wasn't, the Luminous Mushroom vibrated gently. The green glow shined brighter with each passing day.

"Something is alive in there."
