Joey's pov:
"My rattata is the at the top tier of all rattata!"
I was shock, didn't know what to do. The kid with the level 2 pidgey and the level 4 rattata just laughed. "Weak! Instead of just having a rattata how about getting more Pokemon to help you but that might be hard for you!" I just sat there grinding my teeth, but that didn't feel right. "Okay thanks I will totally find more Pokemon for my team and I won't lose!" He looked at me shocked. "Can't you tell when I insult you.." But I was already of to find more Pokemon before he could insult me again.

I was searching in the grass, looking for another Pokemon with rattata. We haven't found the right partner for this party so I decided we should battle someone. "Hey rattata let's look this way until someone walks in front of us" Rattata agreed looking like he said we needed to train more anyway. "Okay!"

We stood there for a while until this trainer with a totodile came. I'm pretty sure he is very weak, so once he finally walked in front of me I started a battle. "Rattata are you ready?" Rattata looked determined to win. So am I. "Go rattata!" The trainer looked at me confused for a minute but then sent out his pidgey. We sent attacks at him, until he switched his Pokemon at the right moment. Rattata and Joey were defeated.

After the battle I walked up to the trainer. "Hey can I have your number, so when ever I want to battle I'll call." He was just as confused as before but smiled and said yes.

Narrator's pov:
"And from that day forward Joey called gold all the time to tell him that his rattata was the best."
