Summer Time Chapter 26 - Seeing the Beloved Roxy

I feel my body lounge for the side of my bed as I hear the quick footsteps get closer to the room.

I duck down right as the door swings open.

"I thought the lass was 'ere?" I hear a familiar male voice.

Who is it!? I try and peek over the bed, but Redwood doesn't let me.

"No." I frown a just barely open my mouth the speak.

"Roxy is that you?"

"Leah!?" Roxy races over to me as I hear Redwood grown. He finally lets me get up as I see Roxy with a smile on his face.

"Lass, why ar' ye on da floor?"

"Sorry...I um..."

Roxy interrupted me. "That's fine lass. Me glad yee'r here!"

"Y-yeah. Me too...." I say getting up. Roxy curls up a lip and smirks, handing me his hand so I can get up.

"Thanks Roxy." We hug.

"I missed ye!"

"Me too Roxy...but how did you know I was here?"

"Dan!" Roxy smiled and adjusted his eyepatch.

"Ask about NightSoul!" Redwood ordered.

My gosh stop it, Redwood! I forced a smile to try and make sure Roxy doesn't notice my expression to Redwood.

"Just do it, Leah,"

Fine! I straightened up and asked, "Hey Roxy, have you by any chance know about someone named NightSoul?" I looked him in the eye.

"What are yee talkin' 'bout lass? Me's never heard of des 'NightSoul'."

"Good. That means the others might not know either."

"Nevermind! Thanks though..."

Roxy shrugs. "It's nothin' mate!" I smile at him.

"How are you?" I ask as we started walking down the hallway.

"I's good, how 'bout ye, lass?" Roxy asked.

"Fine. How did you find me?" I ask him, not wanting him to know about the terrible day I was having so far. Roxy just stares at me then points to his nose.

"I could smell ye." He said.

I giggled as he put his furry arm around me. "How's it like in de outside world mate?" He asked. I had completely forgotten that some animaltronics have never been outside unlike Aby and Berri.

"Do you want to outside? I can show you around...." I say, hoping he would agree.

"Maybe, ye know I don't like me a human form that much lass." He says and looks away.

"Hey, as long as you have a human form you're good!" I smile, making him feel a little better.

"My sis is prettier than me for a fact mate!" Roxy smiles. He has very sharp white teeth. He had some golden teeth here and there, but Aby once told me the original Foxy had golden teeth as well.

"Can't argue." I smile, dragging him to the door.

"Hey mate! Where ya'll goin'?" Dan asked Roxy, not paying attention to me.

"This lass is dragging me to see de outside!" Roxy said. He was trying to pull away from me.

"Well hope you have fun!" Dan laughed and went back to work.

"Come on! You won't regret it!" I laugh, opening the front door.

"I don't feel like dis's a good idea lass," Roxy starts, backing away from the door.

"What's the worst that can happen?" I give him a puppy face.

"Fine, but yer the one responsible lass." Roxy steps outside carefully.

"Come on! Let's take a walk!" I grin. "Get in your human form and we can walk in the forest or something." Roxy seemed a little uncomfortable. The sighed and transformed. He had shoulder length dark red hair with black highlights. His left eye was bright yellow like he had when he was Roxy. His right eye, which used to be covered by an eyepatch now had a scar across his eye and was pure black, with a white pupil which honestly looked creepy. He had sharp teeth, and red lips, not because of makeup, but maybe something else. He had a light red moustashe under his nose, which was barely visible. He was pretty tall, a little taller than me, but I think his hair made him taller than he really was. He had on a black t-shirt and light brown leather vest over it. He wore fingerless leather hunting gloves and had on back jeans. Besides his right eye and him being barefoot, he looked really good. I didn't understand what he wasn't happy about.

"You look really nice Roxy." I smiled trying to comfort him.

Roxy looked at me in the eye and smiled back. I then grabbed his warm hand and we started to walk through the small village. "I've never seen this before, it looks beautiful!" He smiles.

"Are you ok?" I ask, noticing he didn't have a pirate accent anymore and he spoke normally.

"Yeah, I'm fine, When I'm a fox I have that," he explained.

I smile and nod to tell him a understand.

"Why'd you want me here?" He asked.

"I-I haven't seen you in so long, just wanna hang out...." I say.

"Oh, ok!" He smiles and we keep walking. "Are those comfortable?" He asks after a while, pointing at my shoes.

"Yeah, is walking barefoot uncomfortable? Or are you just used to it?"

"Used to it." He bites his lip.

"Oh...you maybe want to go buy some? You can try it out!"

"Buy? What do you mean by 'buy'?"

"Well...I guess it's when you use the money to get other things. Where I come from, money is called wizarding coins. Not sure you heard of them." I laugh.

"No, I haven't. I'm fine the way I am." He smiles and we walk around for a bit. "So, what brings you here?" He asks after a bit.

"Oh, work. I was looking for someone named NightSoul but since you don't know, I'll just look myself. We should go back I guess."

"Okay!" Roxy gratefully agreed and pulled me along with him until we got back.

Summer Time Chapter 27 - What's a Mangle?

Roxy and I go inside to see everyone at lunch. There are no Animaltronics around which surprise me. Roxy changes back to a furry and leaves me to go to lunch himself.
While he does that, I go look around, in hopes of finding NightSoul.

I walked down the hall and turned the corner.

"He's not going to be here," Redwood told me. I sighed and turned around to ram right into Springtrap. I feel backward feeling the impact of his metal suit.

"Ow!" I groaned and looked up to see Spring tilt his metal head.

"Leah!? Oh, I'm so sorry!" He reached out a hand to help me up.

I shivered a little but took Spring's hand letting him pull me up to my feet.

"Thanks." I smiled. "What are you doing?"

"Oh you know, looking for Foxina. She disappeared after Performers club. I can't find her."

Spring chuckled a little and gave me an expression that said 'This happens a lot.'

"Welp, I hope you find her!" I smiled cheerfully. "I have some things to do and will see you later!" I start walking away, but Spring quickly adds "How long are you staying?"

"A day or two..." Redwood ordered me to say.

I stopped and turned to face Springtrap. "Um....Like a day or two."

"Okay!" Spring waved and went farther down the hallway, not looking back at me.

"See you," I mumbled as I shivered again. I turned back to the original hallway I was in but stopped once more when I heard some noises from underneath the floor.

What's that? I thought as I looked around. The sound was becoming louder.

Redwood-

"On it." Redwood interrupted me and a black smoke surrounded come around my body. When it disappeared, I was down in the basement.

Is this like in the theatre? I asked him as I looked at all the boxes around me.

"Yes." Before I could do anything else, I heard a crash and some yelling behind me.

I wish I didn't, but I turned to see Foxina, Mangala, and an Animatronic right in front of me. I cautiously turn around and see and see a thing that's hanging from the ceiling. The Animatronic had a pink and white head with a thick wire as a long neck. She had a red bowtie at the start of her neck. It then joined with some other thick wires to make this spider-like monster. She had two heads and at least more than five arms and legs. On one of the wires was another head that looked run-down and old.

I wanted to scream so badly, but Redwood stopped me.

"And who is this over here?" She exclaims in a demanding tone.

"What are you doing here Leah?" Foxina asked me in shock.

"I- uh," I look at the animatronic. "Who's this?"

"That's Mangle," Mangala says, then smiles. "She sure is Mangled!" She laughs and swings on one of the many wires she is holding onto.

"Wait! Redwood! I thought you said this was like in the theatre!"

"What!?" Foxina raised an eyebrow. "So you were at the theatre!"

"You saw me!? Redwood!"

"It's not my fault," Redwood mumbled.

"Okay, okay never mind!" I was to focus on Redwood to notice that Mangala had turned into a fox and was running upstairs, followed by Foxina.

Mangle, I think that's her name, Turned to me with an unreadable expression.

"Stop!" Redwood spoke for me and raised my arm.

"Gonna stop me? Children with split personalities are annoying me already. You're the second so far. Now get out of my way before I kill you as well." Mangle seemed to talk to me like I was a child.

What are you doing!? I asked Redwood.

"Just follow along. Say that you don't have a split personality or something."

"I have a question!" I say to Magle as she comes closer to me.

"What?" Mangle's voice echoes.

"What's a Mangle?" A shrug and pretend like I'm super confused.

"What!? I'm Mangle!" As she says this I hear metal footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Listen. I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about with split personality and you being a Mangle!" I smile nervously as the footsteps became louder.

Mangle growls and attempts to cut me with one or her ten arms.

I back up and she misses.

Redwood! To the guest room! I think as Mangle attempts once more. I duck and I see Spring at the entrance as black smoke surrounds me.

"Good luck Spring," I whisper with a frightened expression. The next thing I know, I'm back in the guest room.

That was close! I think to Redwood with a sigh.

"You're welcome." Redwood mumbles.

But I left Spring! Who knows what she'll do to him? I hit the side of my bed for leaving Springtrap like that.

"You don't have to worry about your single-eared metal friend," Redwood reassured me.

He has an ear and a half. I corrected him.

"Whatever.... What I'm saying is that you don't have to worry about him."

If you say so.... I sigh.

"Now, did you come here for nothing?! Go look for NightSoul. That murderer...." Redwood said to me.

I didn't reply, but I left the room, unable to think straight.

Summer Time Chapter 28 - NightSoul

I walked around for a few minutes until I saw Foxina skip down a nearby hall.

I can ask Foxina. I shrugged and followed her.

Foxina was skipping down the hall and saying a little tone. "Do do do do do, do do do" she mumbled to herself.

Then she started stepping on the white tiles. "White tile, white tile, white tile, white tile, switch!" she then started stepping on the black tiles. "Black tile, black tile, black tile, black tile, switch!"

Foxina repeated this for a while until she ran into a black bear furry that gave me the chills.

"That's him!" Redwood said to me.

Really? He looks...nice? I looked up and down NightSoul and saw that he had apparently combed his fur to look nice. He had a yellow bow tie and a yellow hat with a red rose in his hand.

I think he's about to go on a date. I slightly giggled at the thought.

"No one would even want to date 'him'" Redwood said in disgust. I rolled my eyes in response.

"....Are you going on a date?" Foxina asked.

NightSoul hides his rose behind his back and letting out a nervous smile.

"How.... How did you know?" He asked. "Did Freddia tell you already? How long have you known?"

Freddia? I ask, in shock. Why would the nicest person like FREDDIA go on a DATE with NIGHTSOUL?!

"Oh, no. No one told me. And I found out just now." Foxina gave a small barely noticeable smile.

"Is it written on my face? Probably is." NightSoul looked at the ground.

"No. It's over your whole body. Art of Deduction buddy, good luck." Foxina walks off, leaving NightSoul confused.

"Do do do do do, do do do do. Do do do do do, do do do do." were the last things I heard from Foxina before she turned the corner.

"Well, maybe he is dating someone. Whatever. Let's ruin his date!!!" Redwood thought.

What? That would be terrible! I think to him back. Before I know it, NightSoul is in front of me. He's much taller when you're looking at him eye to eye. He was a head taller than me, and he was slightly slouching. I could not believe he could be that tall. And the piercing look in his red eyes.... It's like he's staring right into your soul. I guess that's why they call him NightSoul.

"May I help you? You look lost...." He lifts an eyebrow lazily.

"I- oh, um. N-no." was all I was able to say.

"Name's NightSoul, nice to meet you...." He pointed at me.

"Oh! Leah. Leah Scamander." I give him a nervous smile. He brings out his hand for me to shake. His black hand had huge claws that could tear you up in seconds. I shake his hand. "Have a good date," I say, moving on.

"Oh, thanks!" He smiles and waves. His bright white teeth were like pearls. Maybe he really did like her. I shiver and lay my back against the wall, letting myself fall to the ground.

"What are we waiting for?"

Wait! I need some time to think... I thought to him as I covered my face with the palms of my hands. I wait for a few minutes before I uncover my eyes.

"I don't know what to do..." I mumble to myself.

"Let's go ruin their date." Redwood nagged me.

No! I didn't want too. Freddia is a good friend! I remembered the picture I drew back at home in the beginning of summer.

"They all are..." I mumbled as I got up.

I looked down the hallway Foxina was talking to NightSoul.

"Then I will make you," Redwood said as he controlled my body and made me turn around.

Redwood what are you doing!? I asked in a panic.

I started walking down the hall following NightSoul quietly.

Summer Time Chapter 29 - Frozen Foxina

Redwood is in control of me as I swiftly race down the hall behind NightSoul.

Redwood! What in the world are you doing! I yelled in my head. I didn't want NightSoul to hear me and think I'm crazy.

Shouldn't we check up on Foxina first?

"Who needs her? We just ruin the date, get revenge on NightSoul, and skedaddle!" Redwood said, almost making me laugh.

"What's so funny?" Redwood says.

Skedaddle....

"Ok, fine, sprint off. No creativity in this human...." Redwood says.

Hey! I can hear you, you know! I frown as I start slowing down.

"Does it look I care?" Redwood mumbled. I roll my eyes at him.

Whatever. I never signed up for this. I forcefully go into the nearest door.

"What did you do?!" Redwood asked.

This is my body, I do what the heck I want with it, you can't stop me. Was my reply.

I go inside with Redwood mumbling to himself something I can't understand.

"I'm going to Foxina," I mumble as I look around the room. It's very dim with boxes everywhere. I see a door in the back and go through it to be in a hall I've never seen. The floor was checkered patterned and four doorways were lined up along the walls. Two doorways were at the very end of the hall. They probably lead to the same room. I go to the nearest door on the left. I peer inside to see lots of tables with party hats on them. A stage is on the far side of the room. A light flickers and I back up frightened, and confused.

"What the heck is this place?" I ask quietly.

"The old part of the Pizzeria," Redwood answered.

"It looks...abandoned..." I turn around and look inside another room.

"Some of the places haven't been remade yet, no living soul has been here. Well, except for the animatronics. But those are dead. The animaltronics that stayed on Earth can be found here." Redwood told me calmly.

What?! I ask.

"Like the one in front of you," Redwood said.

"Ah!!!" I jump back and look around.

"Haha, I'm just messing with you. But there are animatronics in these parts of the pizzeria."

"Then I am leaving..." I mumble as I head out into the room with boxes. For a second, I hear a grown and a laugh behind me, so I race out of the room as quickly as I could.

I closed the door and sighed as I looked up to the light of the hallway.

"Argh!" I yell and turn to see Roxy laughing at me.

"Oh my gosh Roxy you flippin' scared me." I breathe deeply to stop my heart from beating so fast.

"Sorry lad!" Roxy laughs and runs up to me.

"What are you doing today?" I ask as we walk down the hall together.

"Gonna meet Ballorina for lunch." Roxy cheered.

"Nice!" I say with a smile.

"Leah we need to go. We have things to do." Redwood reminded me.

"Um...I have to go. Have fun!"

"Will do lass!" Roxy runs off and I wave. Then, I start heading to my guest room.

<><><><>

After an hour of napping, I decided to head downstairs. I head to the door of the cafeteria to find Foxina and Ballorina laughing. Another animaltronic says something, and Foxina tilts her head in confusion.

What's wrong? I ask myself. Foxina doesn't get confused often.

After a little bit of talking, Foxina sits down. She then closes her eyes and is frozen into place. Ballorina, Roxy, and the other Animaltronics around her keep talking for a little while, staring at her every now and then. They shrug, and when they finish their pizza, they leave her.

Once they're gone, I walk up to Foxina.

"Hey, Aby?" No response.

"Foxina!" I yell. Still no response. There's just a blank, closed-eyed, Foxina right in front of me.

"Foxina! I'm going to...." I pause and look around. "Eat your food, I guess?" Nothing happens.

"Ugh!" I yell as loud as possible. I think about slapping her, but I don't.

"We need to go now. It's getting dark." Redwood moved my head to the nearest window. I see the sun slowly setting.

"Fine..." I roll my eyes and look at my frozen friend once more. I wave my hand in front of her, but she doesn't move an inch.

"Bummer,"

Shut up.... I say, getting up and walking out of the cafeteria. I was up to the stairs when I heard Foxina scream,

"I WASN'T TALKING TO BALLORINA BACK THERE A COUPLE MINUTES AGO!!!"

More like a couple of hours ago.... I said to Redwood, who chuckled and I went to bed.

Summer Time Chapter 30 - Celebration for Foxina

The next morning I got up early to go eat or maybe even chat with some animaltronics.

"And you just might meet NightSoul...." Redwood added.

Whatever, I think to him.

All of a sudden I hear lots of cheers.

Ok, NightSoul will have to wait. I wanna check this out. I say to Redwood, who never answers.

I stand at the doorway of the cafeteria and listen.

"Hey, Foxina! How was cake?" Springlet asked.

Cake? I asked myself looking at the tables. I see a one layered cake with cream cheese icing on it. A few pieces have been eaten.

"It was really good actually!" Foxina answered.

"Glad you liked it, I added the dirt!" Springlet giggled with excitement.

"Wha-?" Foxina asks surprisingly. I giggled a little.

"I'm just messing with you!" She playfully punches her in the shoulder.

"Oh, yeah. I knew that!" Foxina says smiling.

"So, are you excited to go back to school?" Bonnette asks her.

"Well, looks like Berri is, I'm just enjoying the moment." She smiles, looking at everyone in the cafeteria.

I slowly walk in and interrupt the conversation. "What are you celebrating?" I asked tilting my head.

What do you mean?" Foxina turns around and see me as I walk up to her. "Leah! Did you just get here?" Foxina looks at me like she hasn't seen me in a thousand years.

"Well...." I look at her in the eye.

"Well, what?"

"Yar! The lad's been here for days!" Roxy interrupts and stands next to me.

"Wha- she has!?" Foxina turns to face me. "How'd I not see you?" she mumbles under her breath. "How did Kitten not see you?"

"What do you mean? I saw you. You were in a trance or whatever." I shrug.

"I was at my mind palace. I wasn't in a trance."

"Well....you were there for a while. I kind of wanted to scream in your ear. You weren't moving whatsoever."

"Well, I was doing research," she says, crossing her arms.

"But Foxina," Ballorina joined in. "We were super confused. As Leah said, you were like in a trance or something."

"Ask Kitten what I mean," was her reply. A poof of white gunpowder appeared next to her when she said this. A white cat figure came to view.

"Heya," She waves, rolling her eyes.

"Wait. Where have I seen you before?" I point to her.

"Me?" Kitten points to herself. "Think about it." She narrows her eyes and takes Aby's shoulder.

"I have seen you, I forget where...." I say, trying to remember.

"You should be going now."

"I don't want to go. I wanna-" I stop realizing that I started talking out loud. I laugh and smile nervously. "I'll be right back!" I then turn and start walking to the bathroom.

"Hey, something is wrong," the Kitten person says. she's walking next to me. I flinch but try not to show it.

"I think I saw you in a dream..." I say, going upstairs.

"Sort of. I am real." Kitten says. I glance at her. She's a white furry cat who was wearing a black leather jacket. She had something under it on her back, but I didn't want to know what. She had a sleek whitetail that dashed from side to side.

"What's on your back?" I decided to ask anyway.

"Oh, them. I never wanted them. They were on me, and I hate them. I cover myself with a jacket and do not use them."

"But what are they?" I ask, entering the bathroom.

"You will see," She closes the bathroom door. I'm scared for a moment until she drops her jacket onto the ground. She had wings. They were white and had thorns on the part where the wing bent. They were fluffy and really strong as well. She probably used them before.

"I used to use them..." she says, almost like reading my thoughts.

"Oh. Why did you stop using them?" I ask.

"They let me down...." She looks at the ground, then backs up at me. "I decided that it's better to not use them then have them and not be able to be there for people."

"Oh..." I sighed.

"Leah.!"

I rolled my eyes. "One second...Kitten?"

"Yep!" She smiled at me as I turned and started pacing past the stalls.

What do you want!?

"For you to go!"

I don't want too!

"Why not?"

I don't want to look for this 'NightSoul'. First, you lead me here without warning, then you try and make me ruin my friend's first date!

I make a face at him. Kitten looks at me weirdly.

I not going to listen to you anymore!

"You have too...if you want to save your friend..."

I sigh and walk up to Kitten. "I really need to go now."

"Fine by me! I need to get to Foxina," She puts on her black leather jacket then with a poof, turns into ashes. I shivered and hopped over the pile of white ashes in front of the door, wondering if those were actually real. Of course, they were.
