Year 2 Chapter 6 - Little Olivia

"Yes?" I asked turning. It was Olivia. She had a white eye patch on her left eye.

"Oh um..." she started. She seemed shy.

"It's alright. I'm Leah by the way." I said as I stood up. Olivia was just a little bit smaller than me.

"I'm Olivia. I saw you at the ceremony..."

"Yes I know. I saw you too." I smiled with her. "I put some food next to your bed. Did you eat any?" I asked.

"Oh yes and thank you! I was very hungry..." Then she paused. "What were you doing?"

"Oh um..." I started. Snowy flew up to us and landed on my shoulder.

"Just tell her you were packing for a trip." she chirped.

"Oh I was just packing for a trip, you see" I repeated.

"I know your lying." Olivia said rolling her eyes. "But that's okay."

"How did she know?" I whispered to Snowy.

Before she could answer, Olivia looked up at me and said "You can talk to animals?"

Snowy rolled her eyes.

"Um...yes I can. Please don't tell anyone. You weren't supposed to know."

"Deal!" Olivia smiled. I liked her smile.

"Why don't you join me for breakfast?" I asked. That's when Olivia jumped for joy.

"I would LOVE too!" she said.

"Great! Let's get Leo and we'll be on our way to the courtyard. Breakfast doesn't start till an hour from now."

"Okay...also, who's Leo? And what courtyard?"

"Don't worry!" I chuckled. "Just come with me" I lead her to Leo and said "This is my friend Leo."

As I said that, he opened his eyes and yawned. "Morning Leah." he whispered as he got out of bed. "Who's this?" Olivia was huddling behind me.

"Oh, this is Olivia!" I answered as we walked to the stairs. Leo had gotten dressed and we were off to the courtyard.

"Nice to meet you Olivia!" he said to her. Olivia smiled at him. We were just at the stairs, when I heard someone call out.

"Hey! Leo!" It was Seriya. Seriously!? I thought as she caught up to us.

"Hey Seriya!" Leo said as she glared at me. I rolled my eyes as she grabbed Leo's arm.

"Can I come with you guys?" she asked. Olivia was behind me again.

Before I could answer, Leo said "Oh course! We're going to the courtyard. You should join us!" They both smiled.

"Whatever." I mumbled as I held Olivia's hand. Leo was in front with Seriya. She was sticking out her tongue at me. I glared at her.

"I don't like her very much..." Olivia whispered to me.

"I don't either, but it's okay." I whispered back. She smiled at me. "Don't worry, I'm here." I smiled back.

"Soo, where are we going?" I ask Leo.

"I don't know, where do you want to go?" Leo turned to me.

"How about the Forbidden Forest! It's sooo spooky there!" Seriya said. She thought she could scare me. Nice try. I think.

"Sure! Let's go! You wanna come Olivia?" Olivia seems scared, but she smiles and nods. I look at Seriya who's glaring at me.

"I would like to see the magical creatures there!" Olivia says.

"Alright then," I say trying to ignore Seriya.

"So what are we waiting for!" Leo said, who of course didn't suspect anything wrong.

"Fine! Fine!" I said bringing out my wand. I then throw my wand into the air. It comes back down. Seriya starts laughing as I do it again. This time, Feathers grabs my wand and flies down to us. I smirk as Seriya looks at the Hippogriff. I bow as Feathers does as well. Seriya wants to hide the fact that she's shocked, but she can't. I take my wand from Feathers and stroke his forehead.

"Oh, can I pet him?" Olivia asks.

"Yeah, yo-" I was cut of by her.

"Yes yes, I know what to do!" Olivia gets excited. She bows to the hippogriff and Feathers bows back. Olivia cautiously approaches the hippogriff and pets him. I smile as Seriya gives me a jealous look.

"Can I pet her too?" Leo asked as he slowly walks up to us. Feathers bows to him before he can say anything else. Leo smiled and bowed as well.

"Let's just go already!" Seriya yells as she storms up to Leo.

"Watch out Seriya!" I yell as Feathers goes to kick her.

I turn to my animagus form and I fly in front of Feathers. "It's okay!" I say. Seriya and Olivia looked shocked. I guess they didn't know I was an animagus. Feathers quickly calmed down, but she backed away from Seriya. "Good hippogriff!" I say to Feathers. I turn back to normal and look at Seriya's jealous face. "I guess Seriya's going to have to find a different way to the forest!" I smirk.

"Fine! I never liked it anyways...." She then paused as Feathers growled a little. She turned to Leo afterwards. "Leo! I scared! Can you help me get to the forest?" she had her sweetest voice in play. She was even blushing.

"Why don't we go to breakfast instead!" Leo answered as he pat Feathers.

"Oh! I wanted to ride it!" Olivia complained.

"We can do that later. Leo's right...We are late for breakfast!" We all ran to the great hall. The food had already appeared on the tables.

Year 2 Chapter 7 - The Show at Freddy's

That night, I snuck out of the school at 6:30pm. Lights were already out. I turned to my animagus form, and with Snowy, I flew to the Forbidden Forest. It was super dark, but all was quiet. Snowy led the way through the forest. We landed in a village that looked very familiar.

"In here," Snowy said, pointing to a door.

"Ok," I say and take a deep breath. I land on the ground and turn to normal. I walk towards the door and knock.

"Yes?" Someone asks.

"Um, I heard there was a performance tonight," I started.

"Oh, you're here for the show! Who invited you?" The voice asked.

"Well, my friend named Foxina-" I didn't get a chance to finish because the door opened and a man appeared.

"Talk no more, come on in." The man said. "The name is Dan by the way." he reaches his hand out and I shake it.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Leah Scamander." I smile.

"Nice. Down the corridor and turn to your right. Open the door in front of you and take an empty seat. The seats are all red, and I don't recommend sitting on the purple ones. Of course if you aren't afraid to be touched by them."

"Uh, thank for the advice...." I say.

"You will find it quite helpful. See you later." He waves.

"Bye Dan!" I wave and walk down the corridor. I press the button to activate the metal door. The door goes up and I dive down under it and close it on the other side. Cool. But sketchy. I think. I turn around to see a stadium with red movie theatre red chairs. Some seats were repainted to purple. The stage has red curtains and it looks nice. I walk and slide into one of the red seats closest to the middle. The seating arrangement is cool. It has a walkway down the middle. I wondered if everyone who was performing was like Aby.

I sat down right as someone dressed like a fox ran onto stage. I laughed as the performer dives onto the stage like it was a pool. The Performer also looked familiar. Must be my imagination. I thought to myself. Right before the fox performer ran off stage, I did my Dragon Scales and read the performer's mind.

"Now I hope Mangala will perform with us!" I heard her think. Who's Mangala? I thought as I changed my eyes back. That's when I realized Snowy was stuck flying in the air. I waved and she flew down into my bag. Oh yeah! Snowy said they were afraid of her! I thought. I carefully took out my invisablilty cloak and wrapped Snowy inside.

"Thanks..." she softly chirped.

"Your welcome" I whispered back. The lights dimmed. The show is about to start! I thought. I saw the same performer go back on stage with two others. The fox performer started singing as the spotlight narrowed down to her. She had a beautiful voice.

'So here you are again for god only knows, just here to spend another day so far down below, your chest begins to pound, better not make a sound, because if you do that's when we come around'

Year 2 Chapter 8 - Meeting Aby

I could tell every performer was tired at the end of the song. Especially the fox performer. I want to meet her. I thought. But she was actually in every song except for one. When the curtains shut out, and the audience lights went on, I knew this was my chance. I looked for the fox performer, but only found another fox performer that was singing with her during the first song.

"Um, excuse me?" I asked.

"Yeah?" The fox I saw was white and pink. Her mouth seemed to move when she spoke.

"Do you know where I can find that find the fox actress that dived across the room in the beginning of the show?"

"Oh, her hehe." She laughed uneasily. She looked so realistic. "That's my fault. She's over there" The fox pointed to a room.

"Thank you!" I smile, and passing by I say, "Cool costume!"

"Y-y-yeah. Thanks!" she says nervously. What's wrong with her? I ask myself, but I push the thought to the back of my mind and continue to the room.

"Hello?" I say as I knock on the door. The fox actress turns with a smile and walks over to me.

"Yeah?" Then almost as something clicks in her mind, she starts grinning. "Leah! You made it!" She hugs me. Her costume is furry, almost like it is her skin.

"Um...how do you know me?" I ask. I'm still confused.

"You don't remember me?" she blinks.

"Well....um...." I pause. I don't know what to say, but I don't want to be mean, so I just smile.

"Oh, you don't. That's ok. I'M FOXINA!!!" She smiles proudly and straightens her posture.

"OH!" I shout. "I'm sorry I completely forgot. How are you Aby?"

"Um, I'm not Aby, but whatever. I'm alright! How about you?" she says. Her ears twitch from side to side. I frown.

"Alright I guess. I heard you had something happen when Snowy last came!"

"OH yeah! Is she here?"

"Well duh!" I say a little annoyed. "I always bring her!"

"Can I see?" Her eyes look excited. I think they started glowing gold. Probably my imagination.

"Sure!" I unwrap Snowy out of the cloak of invisibility and Snowy sits on my head.

"Aw, she's so cute!" Foxina pets her head. "Anyways, you probably met Mangala on your way."

"Mangala?" I ask.

"You know, the white and pink fox!" She says, and she swishes her tail.

"Oh, her!" I say. "She's a little weird to be honest with you."

"Well of course she is! Every animaltronic and animatronic would act weirdly around humans!" Foxina extends her claws and scratches the back of her ear.

"Wait...WHAT!?" I yell. I slowly back away. "What the heck is an 'Animaltronic' or 'Animatronic'?"

"Oh...." Foxina says. "Long story, tell you later!"

"I don't care right now....honestly...what happened to you!? You first change....shape, then you have a completely different name! What's wrong? Tell me! You were so different then!"

Foxina sort of looked shocked. I think I did too much yelling. Then she started talking. "Listen. Me changing into a fox wasn't my fault. You blame Dan for that. I have a different name because this is my name. And I'm different because I adapted to the environment around me! Does that answer your questions?"

I was speechless. I didn't know what to say, so I turned to my animagus form and flew around, looking for an exit. I just gave up and flew right into an open door, but bumped into something and fell. I turned normal.

"Ah!" I gave a yelp from the 'thing' I saw in front of me. He was made of metal and he was sort of swamp-colored. He had greyish-green eyes, and he had two ears. Like a bunny. Only half of one of his ears was cut off and had colorful wires coming out of it.

"Need help?" He said in an annoyed voice. He reaches over and holds out his hand. I just lay there on the ground, frozen, then slowly back farther away to Foxina. Now she wasn't so scary anymore.

"Springtrap, she's afraid of you." Foxina puts a hand on her forehead.

"I know Foxina! I'm not blind!" Springtrap said.

"W-w-w-what is that?" I stammer.

"Oh, now you call me a 'what'. I am a who, and I am Springtrap." He folds his hands and looks at me. I slowly get up and say,

"Ok, um, I'm Leah. Leah Scamander."

"Nice to meet you. Heard a lot about you from Foxina."

"What are you doing here Springy?" Foxina asks.

"Wait? What about Fred?" I ask Foxina.

"Who's that?" She asks.

"Well, um. Nevermind." I say.

"Ugh!" Foxina and Springtrap groan.

"A-alright then..." I say. I try not to show I'm scared of Springtrap. "You know what!" I half yell. I turn to my animagus form and say "I'm going to go"

I start to fly into the air. "Wait!" Foxina calls out. "Please stay! I'm sorry for everything!" That's when I hear a clock strike twelve. Midnight! I think in surprise.

"Oh no!" I hear Foxina mumble. Then I hear someone on a loudspeaker.

"The next night shift has started! Get into positions!" Night Shift? I think. What's a Night Shift? When I see Foxina's face, I know I need go hide.

Year 2 Chapter 9 - Run, Hide, Run Again

Springtrap was already running off to do this "Night Shift" thing, but I still had lots of questions.

"A-Foxina! What's wrong?" I look at her expression. She's silent and still. The way she is when she's scared about something. At least that's what she did as 'Aby'. I quickly did my dragon Scales to try and communicate with her. I closed my eyes, went inside her head, and found Aby, or Foxina, roaming in her mind palace.

"Aby!" I called out to her. She didn't answer. "Uh...Foxina!" This time she turned, but she didn't say anything. "Oh my gosh! Abyssinian Kitten Black! What is wrong!?" I came up to her and stared at her right in the eye. For a second, I thought I saw her eyes change color. Not a glowing gold, but the original color, a stormy gray.

She blinked. "Are you okay Leah? Where...how...." Foxina said.

"Do you not remember?" I asked.

"Um...no...the only reason I remember you is because of the letter you sent me. I still don't know very much though. Dan made me forget almost EVERYTHING about my past life."

"Dan?" I thought long and hard. Where have I heard that name before? I asked myself. Then I remembered the guy who let me in to the show. "That Dan!" I said. I looked into Foxina's eyes again, and once more, I saw a hint of stormy gray. I know it's you Aby! I thought. And I'm going to help! I smiled as Foxina's mind palace started to fade.

"Leah! Where are you going?" I heard Foxina ask as I opened my eyes. She was still frozen for a second, then she shook her head. That's when I saw a frightened look on her face. I turned back from my animagus form a little confused.

"What wron-" I started, but Foxina cut me off.

"Run Leah! Run!" she shouted as she jumped over my head. Foxina landed on Springtrap who now had a knife in his hand.

"K-kill..." I heard him say in a different voice. His eyes were purple.

"Snap out of it Springy!" Foxina yelled. She was holding both of his metal arms, trying to keep them away from her. I yelped as I started to run. "Go away Purple Guy!" Was the last thing I heard from her.

"Snowy!" I called as more metal 'things' started looking at me. Some yelled and some hissed or growled at me. I ignored them as Snowy came flying up behind me. I went through some doors to find myself in a room with boxes. I ran and hid behind them.

"What's going on!?" Snowy quietly chirped.

"Shhhh" I shushed her and put my invisibility cloak over us.

We waited for a few minutes as there were screams, clashes of metal, and more, until something came into the room we were hiding in. I heard the same voice I heard from the loud speaker earlier.

"Come on! We have to find that human!" I heard a manly voice say. I was guessing he was made of metal like Springtrap, because you could hear metal clashing the floor. I was stunned as I felt a something hard and metal, kick my ribs. I cried with pain as the invisablilty cloak fell off my head. I looked up to see a golden bear looking down at me. He looked even scarier than Springtrap. I screamed as the bear reached out to grab me. I closed my eyes tightly, and that's when I heard the clash of metal on a wall. I looked up to see Redwood in front of me with his wand. He had used Flipendo.

"What are you!?" The bear said as he got up. I got up as well and pulled out my wand. I looked at Redwood, and he nodded.

I smiled and said "My name is Leah Wings Scamander, 2nd year student at Hogwarts, a witch. This is my friend Redwood. He has come to save me from you." I then paused. I didn't know if it would work, but I wanted to try. "Levicorpus!" I shouted, pointing my wand to the withered bear. Sparks had started to come out of my wand, and the bear started to float. He then turned half way and fell back down, hitting the solid ground. It's an improvement! I thought as Redwood teleported us somewhere. I saw bright white light, then I opened my eyes with a start.

I was in bed, but my ribs still hurt, so I laid back down and went to sleep.

Year 2 Chapter 10 - Flying Lessons

The next morning, I woke up thinking about Aby. Leo was by my bed. So were the Respecters, Keith, and Olivia.

"Thank goodness!" Heather said when she saw my eyes open.

"Where were you last night Leah?" Sherryl asked.

Mary looked at my eyes. "You alright?" She put her hand to my shoulder.

"Ow!" I yelped. I remembered what happened last night. With the golden bear kicked me, I fell on my side and I guess I hurt my shoulder.

"I'm fine guys!" I said to them. We all smiled at each other. "What time is it?"

"Oh lunch just ended..." Leo said. No wonder their worried. I thought. I got up out of bed to find that my side didn't hurt anymore. I smiled and got dressed. After that, we went to out next class, Flying. This was my first Flying class, so I was super excited. I wasn't to good at flying on a broom, but I wanted to get better at it. In my class, I had Leo, Maria, Olivia, Ary, Draco, Keen, and a few other first and second years. I rolled my eyes as I saw Keen and Draco glaring at me. Olivia saw this and came over.

"What's wrong?" she asked. Olivia looked over and glared at them.

"It's fine Olivia. Just don't bother them."

"Fine, but if they hurt you..." Olivia throws a fist at them. "I will destroy them!"

I laughed "Okay" I smiled. It's good to have friends.

First we gathered our brooms and we went to a table clean them. Next, we practice summoning our brooms. "Up!" we all say. My broom came up to my hand first try.

"Up!" Keen said. "C'mon! I SAID U-" The broomstick went up and hit his head as Keen fell over.

"You're only saying 'up' to the broom," Mary raised her eyebrows. "not enslaving it."

Olivia and I laugh as soon as we hear that. Leo is trying his best to hold in his laugh, but it's hard for him.
