just as I finish tightening the bolt on the shelving unit that holds all of my hand weights, I get a knock at the door.

I open it up to see the pink Alien girl who despises me.

"Mina? whats up?" I ask poking my head out the door.

"oh um... so the girls and I were talking and we had a great idea. and I was just wondering if you... I dunno wanna join us? we're gonna go around and rate everyone's dorms to see who has the best one" she says scratching the back of her neck.

"thanks for trying to include me but I still have some things I need to finish up. once I'm done I'll come and join you guys though" I say smiling. 

besides, I don't think I deserve to laugh around with them as if nothing happened. as if I hadn't completely ruined the entire summer camp, plus I got the symbol of peace retired.

despite that, my heart is warmed that Mina is actually including me in something.

I guess she felt bad that I got kidnapped or something.

"oh ok then" she says turning around to leave.

a few hours later, and I finally finish putting everything together. I wipe the beads of sweat on my brow and take in my completed room

(I built Maya's dorm in bloxburg tehe) 

it's not the best looking but that's mostly because I didn't exactly 'decorate' it I just put a bunch of workout gear in it. 

I exit my room and walk down the hallway and just before I reach the elevator, the doors open and the entirety of class 1-A (minus Bakugou) is standing there.

"uh hi" I say just standing there awkwardly.

"hey Maya, did you finish your room?" Mina asks as everyone files out of the elevator.

"yeah I just did." I say 

"great! come and join us!" she says with a smile

"oh uhm..." I stammer

"cmon! it'll be fun" she says grabbing my arm and bringing me over to the group

"we are on the last floor now, well see Yaoyorozu's then Maya's then we'll vote on whos is the best." she says walking over to Yaoyorozu's door.

"what about Tsu's? she's on this floor too right?" Midoriya asks.

"oh she said she wasn't feeling very well so she went back to her room to rest." Uraraka explains.

"well we shouldn't bother her, she can show us later when she's feeling better" Kaminari says.

I look back at Tsu's closed door. 

I hope she's okay

we all stand in the doorway of Yaoyorozu's crowded room.

"I may have miscalculated" she says sounding embarrassed

her room is filled up almost entirely by her gigantic bed.

"I sometimes forget how rich she is" Kaminari whispers.

"alright next up is Maya's room!" Mina exclaims leading the crowd further down the hall to my dorm.

I hesitantly open my door revealing all of my workout equipment to the class.

"woah so manly!" Kirishima comments.

"even your room is girlier than this" Jiro mutters to Aoyama.

"my mom wants me to workout like every waking moment so she made me bring all this eheh..." I say with an awkward laugh.

"I'm basically ripped at this point" I say jokingly flexing my arm revealing my big arm muscles and the guys gawk at my biceps.

after viewing my room, everyone heads back downstairs to the common room to count votes. 

"I only saw one room so I don't think I get a vote" I say turning down the slip of paper Mina offers me.

"okay then, has everyone got their votes in?" she says shaking the lottery box around in her hands.

"remember you can't pick yourself guys!" she announces.

she sets the box down on the coffee table, and one by one pulls out the slips of paper to tally the votes.

"and now without further ado! here are the results of UA's first ever 'best room competition'! drumroll please!" she exclaims building the tension.

"with a total of five votes, the overwhelming winner of this totally awesome contest is... Sato!" she says proudly presenting a piece of paper saying his name.

"all the girls voted for you because of how good your cake was!" she says drooling just thinking about it.

"you villain! aspiring heroes shouldn't resort to bribery!" Mineta and Kirishima say hitting Sato.

"it wasn't on purpose!" he says blocking their weak punches.

"is it over? can I sleep now?" Todoroki says to Midoriya.

"yes, and since you had cake don't forget to brush your teeth" Lida says holding his hand out in front of his face and mining the motion of brushing your teeth.

"hey Todoroki! wait a minute" Uraraka calls after him

"Deku, Maya, Lida, Yaoyorozu, Kirishima you got a sec? it's really important" she says.

"what is it?" I ask

she takes us all outside and we see Tsu standing under a street lamp waiting for us.

"so uh, where are we going?" Kirishima asks and then notices Tsu waiting for us.

"right here, Tsu said she had something she wanted to tell everyone" Uraraka says.

"you guys know I'm pretty straight forward, and always speak what's on my mind. but sometimes, I don't know, I'm at a lost..." she says staring at the ground.

"remember what I said back at the hospital? when you were talking about the rescue?" she says

"yes, every word of it..." Midoriya says.

"what did she say?" I ask confused.

"she said 'going after Maya would break the rules, that means you'd be acting like villains, not heroes" he tells me.

"my heart was hurting, and the things I said must've upset you" she says her voice breaking.

"it's okay Tsu" Uraraka says placing a hand on her back.

"despite my warning, you still went and saved Maya. I didn't know that until this morning. I thought I'd stopped you, but it turns out I was worthless, a complete failure... and suddenly I had no Idea what to say. I didn't think I deserved to joke around and have fun with everyone like usual."

"but... it made me so sad to be without you"  she says looking up at us, tears in her eyes.

"that's why I wanted to talk to you, even if I'm still not sure how I'm supposed to be feeling. I wanted you to know so we can hang out and talk and have a good time again... ribbit..." she says wiping her tears.

I run up to her and pull her into a tight hug.

"you're not the only one who thought that." I say feeling my own eyes fill with warm tears.

"I didn't feel like I should join the fun either, because I got you guys in trouble for saving me and becuase it's my fault that the symbol of peace is no more..." I continue holding Tsu tight.

"Maya... it's not your fault that All Might retired." Uraraka says trying to console me.

"TSU! I'm sorry! thanks for telling us how you feel!" Kirishima yells

"it's okay" Yaoyorozu says

"I apologize" Lida Chimes in

"you shouldn't feel bad" Todoroki says to the both of us

"Asu- Tsu," Midoriya corrects himself.

I pull away from our embrace and Kirishima grabs her by the shoulders.

"I won't make you sad again" he says shaking her

"me either" Yaoyorozu says

"we promise!" Lida says to the sobbing frog

suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to see Midoriya.

"Dek-" before I can finish saying his name he pulls me into a hug.

"it's not your fault Maya, we broke the rules because we wanted to save you, you shouldn't feel burdened by that I'm so sorry" he says, his voice breaking

"thanks" I whisper, tears falling down my cheeks as I hug him back.

though I still wholeheartedly believe that all of the events at the camp and the aftermath were my fault, Midoriya's words mean the world to me.

(a/n this scene in the anime is so sad. when Tsu cried I wanted to hug her so badly :( also sorry for the late upload I haven't slept in a while and I'm tired lol)
