They say shadows are scary

But shadows are where you can be free

Where you can be yourself without worry

It's easier to accept people when you can't see

When you can't see the color of their skin, or their nationality

Nothing else matters in the dark, but the fact that they are people, like you and me

But when I stand in front of a mirror, the above statement doesn't seem to be true

When people are divided because of the differences in the others, in the light they are cruel

And well, if I look in the mirror when I'm laughing, astute

Paying attentions to my dark eyes, as dark as black pools

In front of a mirror I feel, when I don't feel like a monster, either broken or like an absolute fool
