Valt wasn't looking forward to filming that particular episode. He was upset because he would have to battle a corrupted Shu.

"Do we really have to do this?" asked Valt.

"I don't want to hurt Valt," said Shu.

"Oy, you two stop complaining," snapped the director. "I don't have all day."

"I don't see why you are upset," said Free. "You are only acting. Shu's not really going to be mean."

"Yeah, but I don't really like watching Shu act like a villain," said Valt. "It seems... Rather drastic. Besides, he has been receiving hate for it."

It was true. Ever since Shu had been revealed as Red Eye in the show, he had been receiving hate on social media. Although he pretended that it didn't bother him, it was actually really hurtful.

One day, Shu had returned home in tears. His classmates had taunted him for being the antagonist for Evolution. He ran to his room and cried.

Sora knocked on his door after a few hours and asked him if he wanted dinner.

"No, I'm not hungry," came Shu's muffled voice from underneath his pillow.

"Think about it," said Free. "This shows how good of an actor Shu is. Lots of people who act as villains are the opposite in real life."

"That is true," said Shu. "The actress of Dolores Umbridge is actually a nice person. And the actors of Matilda's neglectful parents were actually kind to the girl that played Matilda."

Valt nodded. He remembered when they had to do the scene when Shu pushed him away. The first ten takes had been half-hearted as Shu had hated doing it. When Shu actually did the scene successfully, he had apologized to Valt as soon as the filming stopped.

Although Shu and Lui were enemies in the show, they actually got along in real life. They had a lot in common. They both had little sisters and parents who were busy. They also had trouble making friends growing up due to their introverted natures.

Once, Shu had played a prank on Lui and placed a rubber spider in his backpack. However, ten minutes later, the whole studio heard a shrill scream of a teenage boy when Lui found the spider.

"That's not funny!" Lui had raged at Shu later. "I'm terrified of spiders!"

"Sorry," giggled Shu. "It's funny. You should have seen your face."

"Oh, two can play at this game," said Lui.

A few hours later, Shu accidentally fell asleep reading a book, and when he woke up, he found that his shoelaces were tied together. He had wanted to run after Lui, but it was practically impossible.

Lui's little sister, Yuki, looked like an angel, with her gorgeous pale blonde locks, her pink and white complexion, and her shining violet eyes. Sora said that Yuki could be mistaken for a doll.

"She was named after the snow," said Lui. "She was born during winter like me."

"It must suck having your birthday on Christmas Day," said Shu. "You probably always get a birthday and Christmas present in one."

"Not always, but I do," said Lui. "It's the same for Yuki. She was born on the tenth of December. By the way, when's your birthday?"

"September 23rd," said Shu. "Why do you ask?"

"I would like to know what your parents were doing during New Year," said Lui.

Shu turned the same colour as his eyes. He didn't remember feeling so embarrassed.

Valt and Shu managed to act their parts well. Valt remarked that Shu actually scared him.

"I almost forgot we weren't acting," said Valt. "You seemed so scary. How did you do it?"

"I don't know," said Shu. "It felt pretty overwhelming."

Valt giggled. "You know, we haven't hung out for a while. How about we have another sleepover this Friday?"

"Yeah," said Shu. "But this time at my house."

"Yeah!" said Valt. Then he became uncomfortable. "Er... Seina isn't coming, is she?"

"Do you want Seina to come?" asked Shu.

"No," said Valt a little louder than intended. Although Valt knew practically nothing about romance, he wasn't comfortable with the way Seina controlled Shu. He was certain that his mother would tell his father off if he tried to control her, and vice versa.

"Well, I do want to invite Rose," said Shu. "If that's okay with you."

"Sure," said Valt. "I haven't seen her for a while. This will be great!"
