Kaira broke the hug after some minutes.

Kartik - Naira kaisa feel kar rahi ho ab tum?? Doctor ko bulao mei ??
Naira - Mei theek hu kartik bas hand mein pain hai. Nahi doctor ki zarrot nahi hai.
Kartik - Okk. Waise ek good news hai.
Naira (confused) - Kya good news hai kartik??

Kartik took her left hand ( as her right hand is injured ) and kept it on her stomach.

Naira first looked at him with a confused look but then something strike her mind and she got really happy.

Naira ( happily ) - Really kartik ??

Kartik nodded happily.
Their happiness had no bounds. Seeing his that reaction , naira almost jumped in happiness and that's when she shouted.

Naira ( in pain ) - Ahhh....
Kartik ( concerned ) - Kya hua naira?? Hand pain ho raha hai kya?? ( she nodded ) . ( scolding her ) - Kya karti ho tum naira?? Abhi kuch ho jaata tumhe toh. Kabhi toh apna khayal rakh liya karo. Aur ab toh tumhare saath humare bache ki bhi jaan judi hai isliye please take more care of yourself.
Naira - Okk kartik babaji .

Kartik smiled seeing her naughtiness.

Naira ( asking to kartik ) - Kartik waise papa kaha hai ?? Woh theek toh hai na ?? Mere saath unka bhi toh accident hua tha na.

Listening to this , kartik's smile faded and he didn't replied her anything.

Naira ( shaking him ) - Kartik bolo na kuch. Papa theek hai na ?? Bolo kartik..
Kartik - Nahi kuch theek nahi hai. Papa theek nahi hai.

And then he told her everything which the doctor told him.

Naira ( concerned , with teary eyes ) - Toh tumhe papa ke saath hona chahiye tha na kartik.
Kartik ( with a bit strict face ) - Aur tumhara kya haan?? Mei thodi der nahi tha jab toh tumhara bp high ho gaya agar nahi hi aata phir kya hota??
Naira - Still kartik...
Kartik ( angry voice ) - Shut up naira!!! Kabhi toh khud ke baare mein soch liya karo. Jab dekho bas family ke baare mein hi sochna hota hai tumhe.
Naira ( with light tears ) - I am sorry.

Her tears ached his heart.
He immediately wiped her tears and hugged her.

Kartik ( rubbing her back lightly ) - I am sorry jayada hi gussa kar diya na meine.
Naira ( still being in the hug ) - Its ok kartik. ( breaking the hug ) - Mei papa se mil sakti hu kya??
Kartik - Doctor se puch kar batata hu. Mei aata hu puch ke tum rest karo.

Naira just nodded and he went out.

Outside -

He saw everyone standing there.

Swarna - Naira kaisi hai??
Kartik - Theek hai bas hand pain hai. Papa kaise hai??
Swarna - Abhi tak toh normally hi behave kar rahe hai aur baad mein pata chalega.
Kartik - Hmm okk.. Waise bhi kal dono ko discharge mil hi jayega.

Everyone nodded. 

Next Day -

Morning -

Naira and manish had got discharged and were going back home.

Goenka Villa -

Everyone was preparing for naira and manish's welcome.

Suddenly , they heard the horn of a car and understood that the car was of kartik in which naira and manish were there.

Kartik took both naira and manish inside very carefully holding their hands.

Swarna did their aarti and welcomed both of them.

After Sometime -

Dinning table -

Everyone was eating their breakfast with kaira feeding each other.

They saw that manish had suddenly started behaving abnormally.

Kartik went towards him and touched his shoulder.

Manish ( in childish voice ) - Aap kon ho uncle ??
Kartik ( confused ) - Uncle?? Papa mei hu kartik , aapka beta.
Manish - Aap mere bete kaise ho sakte ho. Mei toh abhi khud ek bacha hoon uncle. Aap bhi kitne funny ho.

Kartik realised what had happened as he remembered the doctor's words.
Before he could say anymore or act upon it, manish got fainted in his arms.

Kartik ( patting his cheeks ) - Papaaaa......

Kartik picked up manish in his arms and went towards swarnish room and asked swarna to call the doctor.

She nodded and everyone else followed him.

After Sometime -

Goenka Villa -

Swarnish Room -

The doctor arrived and checked manish.

Doctor - As I said that he can have a memory loss and so it happened. The fear came true he had lost his memory.
Kartik - So doctor what should we do now?? Should we try to make him remember everything??
Doctor - Listen Mr.Goenka you should try to amke him remember his memory but don't force him to remember it. And please try to make him comfortable with you.

Kartik nodded. The Doctor went from there.

After some minutes, manish woke up and got scared seeing so many people infront of him.

Manish ( scared ) - Aap sab kon hai??

Kartik came forward and held manish's hand.

Manish - Uncle aap kon ho??
Kartik - Uncle nahi kittu. Mei aapka friend hu kittu.
Manish ( hand shaking with him ) - Manu kittu best friends.
Kartik ( tightening the hold ) - Yes manu kittu best friends.

Kartik signalled everyone else to go downstairs.

Everyone agreed and went downstairs.

Downstairs -

Everyone came downstairs and dadi held naira's injured hand harshly that she winced in pain.

Naira ( in pain ) - Ahh...dadi chodiye bohot dard ho raha hai please chodiye.
Dadi - Kyu ho raha hai na dard?? Hume bhi dard ho raha hai lekin haath mein nahi dil mein. Sharam nahi aayi tumhe woh accident karte hoye. Humse humara beta chente hoye. Kuch Toh sharam kar li hoti naira. Aaj manish ko joh halat hai uski zimmedar sirf tum ho.
Naira - Dadi lekin ek baar....
Dadi ( cutting her off in between only ) - Kuch nahi sun na hume. Nahi sun ne tumhare excuses hume. Nikal jao yaha se tum. Aur yaad rakhna ki aaj se tumhara ya tumhare iss baby ka kittu ya iss ghar ke kisi bhi family member se koyi naata nahi hai. Ab niklo yaha se.
Naira - Lekin dadi suniye toh....
Dadi - Tum aise nahi manogi hume hi tumhe nikalna hoga.

And she held her hand and threw her out. She was about to hit the door step when one hand held her and again pulled her inside the house while glaring at the family.

"Aap log aise nahi kar sakte samjhe aap log khastor se aap dadi."
