For someone with no social life outside of the Internet, i'd say I was doing pretty good. Despite the empty cafeterias and hardly being able to see any other friends beside Cassy again.

The funny thing about my lack of social interactions, is that on some media (CoughWattpadCough) I'm not the socially awkward Naomi, but the crazy and amazing Befallen_Midnight.

Though if I'd tell anyone about my surprisingly dark username they'd most likely cringe and walk away. Half of the reason for my socially awkward self.

The other half is being used to being drowned out in the crowd from having popular friends. So I guess that's the other half.

Now, it's because of my lack of social contact that I was heading to the store for popcorn and those chocolate covered almonds you usually buy from school kids.

Just because I'm all dolled up to get some junk food doesn't mean I won't be eating it all in one sitting while watching teenage mutant ninja turtles, anime, and Star Trek...But they don't know that.

Which is why one of the teenage employees of the male species walked over to me as I entered.

Now remember I'm socially awkward, so I'm basically screwed in this situation,

"Hello, how can I help a beautiful lady such as yourself?" Well if I had snorted that would've been quite the reason for him to walk away so I wouldn't feel like curling up and dying anymore.

But then I'd be lost. So as you could've guessed, I didn't snort. "Thanks, uh- where's the (que the embarrassment, and nervous cough.) junk food?" He laughed at this, his brown eyes seeming to laugh with him, before he guided me into the correct section— waaaait a second.

"What the fuck Jackson?" I watched him cackle a bit before starting to walk away, leaving me in the fruit section of the store.

"Junk food? Really? Oh stars you're perfect." Well that was surprising. And the socially awkward me just had to snort with a scoff and quickly start looking at the raspberries.

When I looked back at Jackson his face had been one of shock before he broke into a fit of hysterical laughter, and though I'm ashamed to say it myself- I followed not far behind.

Soon though, Jackson disappeared back to his job while I was left to have a mini adventure around the store to find the junk food. I really wanted those chocolate covered almonds.

When I had finally found them, I searched for the popcorn, and headed towards the cash register, not liking the feeling of being watched (which was engraved into my brain after always being stared at at school for being friends with one of the popular kids.)

Paying for the food was a bit of a hassle seeing as I thought I had lost my wallet before I figured out I was already holding it, and when I exited the store, getting distracted was one of the biggest problems.

Especially when I caught site of a billboard for what life would be like off the internet.

Making me wonder...
If i couldn't connect my online life to my real life...
But could I connect my real life with my online one?

Life Off The Net

Is what it would be called, filled with quirky stories and activities that make my real life just all that more exciting.

Maybe the first chapter should be about Cassidy and I's upcoming sleepover next week? Or maybe the upcoming WizardOfOz play performance?

I guess I'll just have to decide when something interesting happens. When my phone buzzed with the gummy bear song, I gave a smirk before picking it up.

"Hey Cassy. How was your date with Luke Hm?" Though she couldn't see it, I smirked knowingly around the area, not having anything in particular to look at while we would chat.

The voice on the other end of the phone hesitated, stuttered, then started screaming, causing me to laugh. Aren't I just amazing to my friends?

I'd say so. Even with my socially awkward self, I still do like to do things like this to people.
