"DAMIEN!!" She screamed, blue eyes wide and tears spilling down her face. She ran towards the limp body in the middle of the road, and so did the man driving the car.

A large puddle of blood surrounded the wheezing boy, and she wasn't afraid to get it on her knees.

She crouched beside him, and took a look at the culprit. The man had shaggy brown hair, and looked about mid twenties. He owned a pair of steel grey eyes that shot around in a panic, as he talked on the phone line for 911.

She gripped her brothers hand when he looked up at her for pleading eyes.

'Make it stop'

They seemed to say. Naomi couldn't stop crying and sobbing at her older brothers scared form. He was obviously scared of dying.

Maybe it was because he would miss their family; Rachel, Mum, Dad, and PufferFish.

Maybe it was because he was worried; what would it be like to die? Would you feel pain forever? Move on into peace? Be reborn? Stay forever in the darkness?

Maybe he wasn't afraid of dying... But afraid of hurting his family.

Her brother shook his head and a smile played at his lips when his sister spoke. "Don't leave me...Please!"

He couldn't speak.

He couldn't hug her and tell her it would be okay.

He couldn't promise he would stay.

He couldn't move.

He couldn't do anything, but stare at his little sisters crying form.

He couldn't breath very well.

Hardly at all.

He wouldn't die.

He couldn't die.

For Naomi.

He would stay alive for her.
