I've felt really stupid today

In the morning, in Advanced Algebra/Trig, I couldn't remember how to do a problem similar to one I literally did yesterday, and I understood it perfectly then

And just a few hours ago, before my shower, I accidently dropped the back of my earring in the little trashcan in the bathroom while I was taking it out. I tried to do a lil dumpster diving for it, but I didn't get very far before I deemed it lost to the trash gods ;-;
(YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE MAH FRIENDS! T^T)

It was the pair that didn't "irritate" my right ear, too ;~;
I doubt I have another back similar to the one that was on it-
