Brain, wtf?
I just wanted to sleep, so where the hell did you pull this sad shit out of? T^T

For more context, I was having a dream where I was a male guard (I think? Or he was some kind of thief that was on good terms with the guards since he was in the castle (I have no clue which pronouns to use since I was him but also kind of in a third person view? So I wasn't exactly him but I also was him??))

Anyways, shenanigans happened (I don't remember what), and for some reason, we had to not let the general (I think) know we were in the castle, but we could hang around with any of the other guards. Then the sad scene comes in. We, and a couple guards, accidently stumble across the general. Knowing my fate, I let him stab me in the stomach area (with some sort of metal scissors?), and then I go to a room with a couple of cats in there (for some reason, they were Feathertail and Stormfur (I think those were their names? ("OwO)). They see and approach us, all happy at first until they notice the wound and our smiling but tearful face. They start tearing up as well but accept it, and ask if they should tell the others. We answer back with something like "Don't make it too harsh on the kits (kittens for you non-Warriors readers)" and "the others will know"

Then I woke up 'cause I was crying ;^;

WHERE THE HELL DID THE SUDDEN EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT COME FROM!? I can't handle seeing their crying faces. It's like I can feel the hurt and pain, and it comes back whenever I picture it in my head again. It hurts me, and I just start tearing up

Luckily, writing about it seems to help, as I have to think about what I'm gonna write and my brain doesn't have to wander back to that scene

I just wonder why I would have such a bizarre dream like that. Normally, it's about my fears, or at least has me in it. This dream didn't even have me as me, and it's been quite a while since I read a Warriors book. I don't understand it
