Literally spent the weekend reading the manga xD

But I wonder...

Will we ever see Deku's dad? I was kinda viewing comments as I went through the beginning of the manga ('cause I wanted to see if anything was different. I jumped ahead to where the anime left off when I reached the calvary battle) and saw someone saying that the original commenter's theory about whoever being Deku's father was debunked by the author, who claimed that his father was overseas (correct me if it's wrong)

I was just thinking about this because I was thinking about how Deku's father would react to how much his son has changed since attending U.A., if what was mentioned above is true
