(Oops, published in the wrong book ("ovo))

Not including nightmares, I just had one of the worst dreams I've ever had

Being in the main character (or myself, I dunno) the end of the dream had me killing three people I had grown attached to (with one being my brother), because two of them were getting to the point where they were dangerous to others and losing control of their bodies (I don't remember how the brother became part of them)

The female one managed to talk me into having to kill them, so I wrapped this rope-like thing once around their necks and asked them to walk away, because there was no way I was gonna be able to do it with them there. As they got further away, my dream inserted some game mechanic, being that I had to go to a certain place

So, the anguish is drawn out as we (there was a group of other people, apparently) reached the edge of a cliff overlooking the three and a river, and I pulled and they died and I fell to my knees and did one of those screaming cries and then I woke up with the feeling of such heartbreak heavy on my heart and the ending of the dream fresh on my mind

I'm crying. I had such a deep connection with them, and I had wanted to save the other two so bad, but there was nothing else I could do

I'd easily say that was the saddest dream I've ever had so far 😭😭
