(Y/N) is now 15 and she's realized that something is wrong. She's stayed in her room most of the time and I really feel bad. I've slowly lost my sanity, each episode of my other side lasting longer than the last. It's become the real me. Was I meant to be this way? Maybe...

I noticed my skin was turning purple now too. How peculiar. I wish I knew how to stop all this.

You can't...

"Go away," I mumbled, not caring about the voices.

We know what you did...

"Does it look like I care?"

We'll find you...

"And do what?"

We'll kill you...

"Great. I'd love to see you try."

You'll die the same way we did...

"Good luck, small murdered children." I laughed chaotically. I can't keep trying to control myself. It's impossible.

"Dad, you're doing it again," a voice said. I turned around and saw my daughter standing in the doorway. I frowned.

"Right... I'm sorry if I scared you," I said, looking away.

"Dad, when are you going to get help? These voices you hear, these episodes... You need help."

I shook my head and got up, walking towards her.

"No one wants to help me. I've tried. You wouldn't understand."

She walked away, down the hall, and came back with a stack of papers. She handed it to me and sighed.

"I looked up some phone numbers and called a lot of people that want and can help. I told them about what I know, but it's up to you to find out how to get the right help. I just want you to be okay, Dad..."

I stood there, shocked. My own daughter found people that wanted to help. On her own... I looked at the stack of papers and found printed emails shared between her and these professionals. I smiled, placed the papers down, and pulled (Y/N) into a hug.

"You're very clever and caring, and I'm glad," I said.

"I get it from you, Dad," she replies. I genuinely smiled. My sanity returned for a short period of time. "I miss Mom..."

I looked down to see (Y/N) crying silently. I wiped away her tears.

"I do too... But she's always watching over you, guiding you in the right direction."

"I know..." She paused and looked away.

"Do you think we can go to the park... and act like a somewhat normal family?" She asked. It was a difficult choice. Either I let my daughter be happy or I keep myself from harming others... I know which one to choose.

"Sure. We can go," I said.

(Y/N) smiled brightly and thanked me over and over. She ran upstairs and grabbed her sketchbook and mine. I knew exactly what she was planning. When she was younger, I always brought her to the park and we drew in some sketchbooks. It was a peaceful place since not too many people are ever at the park. Perfect for clearing your mind and coming up with great ideas.

We sat down under the same tree as usual and began drawing. My paper turned into a fantasy world of bunnies. Don't question it. The bunnies were not my idea. (Y/N) drew a bunny on my paper so I had to work with it. I decided to mess with her by drawing a flower. She turned it into a flower garden.

We continued drawing and actually acting like normal people. I liked this side of the world. No insanity. No regrets. Just peace and happiness. I know I don't deserve any of it, but I want to enjoy it while I can.

We stayed in the park for an hour or so and it was finally getting dark. (Y/N) was getting tired so I gave her a piggy back ride home. She said she could walk but she started falling asleep under the tree. Stubborn, like me. When we got home, I set her down on her bed and was about to leave, but she got up and hugged me.

"Thank you..." she said.

"What am I being thanked for?" I asked.

"You acted normal for a while. I'm proud of you, Daddy..."

I smiled and kissed her forehead. She let go and went to bed and I was going to do the same when I saw a ghostly figure of a child.

We know what you did...

Another appeared next to it.

And we know where you are...

A third appeared closer to me.

We're coming for you...

Two more appeared right in front of me.

And we'll kill you...

Like you did to us...

I growled and walked straight through them, causing them to disappear. I was not letting that ruin my day. I went to my room and went to bed. I kept thinking back to my crime...

What was I thinking?
