I'm sorry for updating late, please forgive me readers!;-; D;

Anyway, like I promised, here's a couple of chapters, but I put it all in one.

There's over 8 thousand words, so it's about 4 chapters, enjoy!

Heads up, this chapter will be about the girls at home, it will be a bit slow, but it will also show a bit more of their character, their likes, hobbies, talents, but will also have lots of drama and explanations.

Chapter 10

Mira's pov.

We began to walk home, I had a passed out Levy on my back, Kagura was helping Erza walk, Juvia was holding Lucy, and Wendy was making sure Yukino's arm was ok.

The guys where behind us, just silently following.

Well this is really awkward.

Thankfully, our apartments was only 20 minutes away from the park.

Before we walk in I stop and turn to look at the guys.

" ok, listen. You will be seeing our 'hang out' apartment, one we all share. Not any of our own apartments, so don't think you can just randomly show up and expect us to be there, got it?" I asked, the guys nodded. " good, also, follow our rules please. No running water with out permission, no turning off the lights, no staring at us, no crowding us, no flirting with us, and especially no ridiculing us; do I make myself clear?" I asked glaring at them. They quickly nodded and some even replied with a 'yes ma'am.'

I sighed as we walked into the building. No worker dared to ask what happened to us.

We decided Erza and Kagura will go up first, then the guys, then Juvia and Lucy, then Wendy and Yukino, and finally me and Levy.

I waited my turn with the petite girl on my back, wondering how things will be after this.

When it was finally my turn, I simply stepped into the elevator and waited to get to the 14th floor.

I decided to prepare myself for the guys questions.

I grimace at the thought of the questions they will ask. Why did they have to find out, especially Laxus!

When the door opened I quickly step out, I then find the guys gawking at our hall.

" is something wrong?" I asked.

" th-this place has been in magazines!" Gray said in shock.

"W-wait, don't tell me, are we in the Heartfilia apartments?!" Jellal questioned in shock.

I was about to say something snarky, but Juvia beat me to the punch.

" Naaaaaaw, really?! Juvia had no idea. What was your first clue, the big letters that spelled out Heartfilia on then building, or the fact that Lucy's last name is Heartfilia?" She said looking at the guys with a annoyed expression.

" Wait.... Lucy's last name is Heartfilia?!" Natsu shouted.

Juvia face palms as I sighed.

This is going to be a long night.

" yes, Lucy's last name is Heartfilia." Juvia said annoyed.

"W-wait, doesn't that make her rich?!" Gray shouted in shock.

" noooooo, it makes her a unicorn." Yukino said sarcastically.

Her and Juvia fist bumped. I just laughed as the boys looked shocked.

" I like unicorns." Wendy mumbled shyly.

I just smiled at her and ruffled her hair.

"Anyway, let's head inside." I said as I walked into the apartment.

When get in the guys are in awe. I don't know why.

Ok, now back to the story.

" can you guys stop gawking at our place? Jeez, you act like its a mansion." I said as I rolled my eyes and placed Levy on the couch.

"H-how?!" Sting shouted.

" how what?" I heard Yukino ask.

" how the h*ll can you afford this place?!" He shouted in shock.

" I'll answer this one." I told the others, I then looked at the guys and said in a normal tone " well Lucy was born rich and I'm a model, so that leaves us with a lot of cash, not to mention Wendy's tournaments, Levy's online tutoring, my job as a bartender, Juvia's performances and lessons, and some other things."

They just gave me a dumbfounded expression.

"Well, looks like that shut them up." Yukino said with a small smirk.

" we finally found the way to get them to shut up!" Kagura shouted.

" yaaaay!" Erza shouted.

The guys still where in shock.

"What?" I asked looking at them.

I then looked at the clock and gasped.

"Wendy, isn't it time for you to log on?" I asked.

Wendy's eyes widen right after I said that.

" oh no! I forgot! I'm going to be late! Thanks Mira for reminding me. " Wendy shouted as she ran over to the  couch and belly flopped on it as she reached towards a controller and a remote.

When Wendy gets the remote she turns on the tv and her play station 4. She then sits up and taps her foot while she waits.

"Wh-what's going on?" The small boy, who I believed is named Romeo, had asked confused.

" Wendy is playing a video game. Anyway, don't mind her, what do you guys want to listen too?" Juvia asked as she set Lucy down in a chair, then grabbing the remote and  turning on some speakers to play music.

" nothing, I'm honestly too exhausted to do anything." Kagura sighed as her and Yukino sat on the couch, Yukino cuddling Kagura.

Awwwww, it's sweet seeing Yukino affectionate.

" I'll watch over Lucy and Levy" Erza said as she sat next to Levy and Lucy.

" I'll then make us some dinner! Hope you all like lasagna!" I mentioned happily.

"Wait what?! What about answering our questions?!" Gray shouted.

" Later! Us girls have some priorities, and you guys are not ones to argue, seeing how you need answers and also you stalked us." I said in a sassy tone.

The guys just helplessly stared at me, not knowing what to do.

I just walked away into the kitchen and started to cook.

Then a fantasy fighting game music blast through the rooms.

The TV shows a screen with a picture that says Slayer vs. Slayer.

"Yessss! It's time for the sky maiden to log on." Wendy shouted in joy.

I then stopped in my tracks as I looked at Wendy in shock.

Does she realise what she just admitted to?

Well, maybe she'll be lucky and none of the guys will know what she's talking about.

"Wait what?! Your the sky maiden?!" All the guys shouted in unison.

Question, Why does this world make me hate being optimistic?

Anyway, Wendy then blushes as her eyes go wide in realisation. She then gulped from nervousness.

" m-maybe." She answered shyly.

Romeo's pov.

I look in shock at the news I just found out.

Wendy is the sky maiden, THE sky maiden!

Ok, for those who are confused, the sky maiden is a sky dragon slayer username, it's for the best game in the world, slayer vs. slayer, but it takes a lot of skill and determination to become a slayer, especially one as skilled as her!

She has compete in tournaments and beat lots of foes, she also has unlocked dragon force, only few slayers have ever done that, Natsu has only done it a few times. And dedicates all of his free time to this game!

Which makes this extremely impressive seeing how Wendy is one of the top players!

I looked at her with my eyes wide.

She had her eyes closed as she looked down in shame.

I should say something.

" th-that's amazing!" I shouted.

" r-really?" She looked up at me with tears starting to form in her eyes.

" yeah really! Do you know how hard it is to even become a slayer, heck, it's even hard to become a bad one!" I told her as my excitement let my nerdy side come out a little.

I blush a bit as she giggles.

" thanks, I kinda needed to hear that." She told me with a small smile.

I don't know why, but that smile made my heart skip a beat.

Not knowing how to respond, I just gave her a smile.

" soooo, do you mind if I watch you play?" I asked.

"N-no...." She said with a small blush as she began to enter a tournament.

Cute......

I kinda want to make her blush some more.

Wait, what am I thinking?!

W-wait! I meant my precious friend Wendy, yeah, that's what I meant! I didn't mean it as like, I own her or I'm dating her! That would be weird.

Ahem, readers, I would appreciate it if you all ignored everything that just happened.

I finally snap out of my thoughts as I hear Wendy screaming.

" TAKE THIS!!!! ENHANCED SKY DRAGON WING ATTACK FOLLOWED UP WITH A SKY DRAGON TALLON!!!! STILL HAVEN'T HAD ENOUGH?!?! TRY TO WITH STAND MY SKY DRAGON ROAR!!!!!" Wendy shouted competitively.

Holy sh*t! She just took out 8 other players!

Apparently, shouting makes you stronger.

" Wow Wendy your really good!" I said amazed.

" t-thanks, s-sorry for screaming..." She said looking down blushing.

"No it's fine, I think it's really cool how passionate and competitive you can can be!" I reassured her.

She just gave me a small grin.

" ooh! Wendy has a boooooooyfriend!" I heard someone shout.

Instantly all eyes where on us. I don't even need to feel my face to know that I'm blushing.

"Juvia! He's not my boyfriend, we just met a week ago and today he and his friends stalked us! Why would you say that creeps my boyfriend?!" Wendy shouted defensively.

I instantly felt a fake arrow stab me in the chest as she brought up the stalking thing, then another into my head after she called me a creep.

My inner self is now crying readers.

I'm such a idiot.

" yeah, guess your right, the guys are pretty creepy." Juvia sighed as she looked at me.

I just replied by putting my head down in shame.

" uh oh. Looks like Wendy made Romeo upset." Mira pointed out.

She gave me a nice, sympathetic smile.

I'm grateful for her worrying about me, but I wish she didn't point that out.

" oh jeez, I'm sorry Romeo, I didn't mean to hurt you! I was just trying to get the point across that we're not a couple." Wendy said feeling bad about her earlier statement.

I looked up and gave her a fake smile.

I don't want her to feel bad for me, or to see her upset by her own opinion, so I'll just have to act like it doesn't bother me.

"Plus you got to admit, stalking people is pretty creepy." Juvia mentioned Wendy's earlier statement.

I felt my head fall again.

Give me a break it was one time!

" Juvia, stop it!"

Of course, I'm too lame to even stand up for myself.

......Wow, myself confidence has really fallen since I met Wendy.

Juvia laughed as she ruffled my hair.

" Juvia's just messing with you Romeo." Juvia laughed.

I just sighed as the others laughed along.

"Besides none of us are ready to date, right guys?" Mira said.

The girls just all agreed.

This made me very confused.

Why don't they want to date?

More importantly, why wouldn't Wendy want to date someone like me?! I'm hot!

Ooh, my self confidence is back!

"W-what's going on?"

We all look back to see Levy finally woke up.

"LEVY!!!!!!" Wendy shouted as she paused the game and then raced towards Levy.

" W-Wendy, what happened?" Levy asked confused as Wendy tackled her in a hug.

"You fainted shrimp." Gajeel stated bluntly.

"Eh?! When did he get here?! Wait, why are all the guys here?!"

"It's a long story." Kagura briefly stated. " in short terms, guys saw us fighting with them, so now we are all waiting for Lucy to wake up to give them answers to all their questions. We're basically screwed." She said in a serious tone.

" oh, ok....."

I think Levy is just trying to process everything right now.

After a few minutes of making sure she was ok, and checking to see that she doesn't have a concussion from hitting the floor when she fainted, everyone went back to there own small groups.

So to sum things up, Levys fine, we are waiting on Lucy to wake up, and Everyone is now doing there own little things to calm down after what just happened.

Right now, Erza is looking up pictures of strawberry cakes, Jellal and Laxus are helping Mira cook dinner.

Then there's Wendy, she is playing Slayer vs. Slayer; Juvia is sitting next to her as she talks to Yukino about music.

Kagura is simply reading, and Gray and Natsu are in the background giving each other death glares.

Gajeel is checking up on Levy who is still trying to process everything.

Sting and Rogue are sitting down talking to each other with serious expressions.

I wonder what there talking about?

Then there's me.

I just sighed in relief.

I'm honestly glad we are all able to hang out like this, I don't even know most of these people, but what happened today was crazy!

Just as I was beginning to relax, I hear a ear bleeding scream.

"What's going on?!" I heard Natsu shout as him, and the rest of us, turned around to see what had happened.

Mira's pov.

I look in horror to see Juvia begin to hyperventilate.

I instantly react on my reflexes as I run towards the sink and push Jellal out of the way.

Crash!

"Ow! Hey! What did you do that for?"

I simply gave him a 'I Don't Give A F**k You Filthy Swine' look, he doesn't reply.

I then focus my attention on the problem in front of me.

This troublesome device cause a lot of emotional and collateral damage for us.

Thankfully there's a simple solution.

I then turn off the kitchen sink.

See, easy.

I then turn to see Juvia crying.

Now for the hard part.

Fixing said emotional and collateral damage.

" Yukino, get the healer kit for Juvia." I told her.

"Yes ma'am!" She then ran off.

"W-what just happened?!" Gray shouted confused.

I simply ignored him.

" hey! Answer me!" Gray shouted.

"No." I simply told him.

Yukino then came back with a bright blue suit case.

"I got it!"

"Good, now give her the comfort device." Erza commanded.

The boys watched as Yukino opened up the case, only to be shocked by what's in it.

"Here you go Juvi-" Yukino didn't even get to finish her sentence.

" Squeeeeeee!" Juvia snatched the object then cuddled it with joy. She was so excited that her eyes where in the shape of hearts.

It was a small white doll. It kinda looked like a ghost with a smiley face.

I sighed in relief.

Emotional and Collateral damage, fixed.

Now to deal with the guys.

I glare at Jellal who is shivering in fear.

" what did I say about NOT TURNING ON THE WATER?!?!" I screamed.

I wanted to tackle him.

But before I could, Laxus ran over to me and held me back.

"Let me at him. Let me at him!" I shouted enraged.

"Nope." That was Laxus only reply.

I look back at Laxus and glare at him.

" Let me go! I need to teach him a lesson!" I commanded him.

"Nope."

"UGHHHHH!!!!"

We had a stare off for a few minutes, but it didn't seem like he was backing down anytime soon.

" I hate you." I told him in defeat.

" still not letting you go." He replied Cooley.

" whhhhhhhhy?" I whined.

I just heard him chuckle in reply.

I then used most of my strength to squirm my way out of his grip.

Finally I was released as I exhaled a breathe I didn't even know I was holding. I then glared at Laxus.

" fine, he can live...." I said tired of today.

"Good." He replied.

I then mumbled under my breath "For now....."

I then glare at Jellal to see him jump slightly.

"Relax Jelly boy, I said you can live." I told him.

" yeah, cause that's reassuring. Don't forget, I saw you beat the sh*t out of that Damien guy." He said.

I growled at Damien's name as Kagura gagged.

" you mean he who will not be named!" Yukino hissed.

"Sorry?..." Jellal said, even though it sounded more like a question then a statement.

"You should be." Kagura said, kinda disturbed.

It went silent after that.

" Juvia doesn't like how quiet it is." Juvia whispered pretty loud to Wendy.

I facepalmed as all the guys stared at her.

" ok! Lucy needs to wake up soon. I don't know how much longer we can keep this up." I told Ezra.

" I can tr-"

" Erza, you are not gonna force her to wake up again. Remember what happened last time."

"Ughhhhh! Fine." She groaned.

" Wait, what happened last time?" Gray asked.

" stuff." Me and the girls answer in unison

Then our sweat dropped as we remember what happened.

Last time was the first time we fought Damien, he ended up passing out as we tried to ask him questions. Lol, That's how weak he was back then.

Erza ended up trying to shake Damien awake so we could question him, but his head kept on hitting the ground. We tried to stop her by saying he wouldn't be able to answer our questions in his condition, but she replied " if I force him to he will!"

Yeah, no way are we letting her do that to Lucy.

" anyway, I'll finish cooking, if she isn't up by dinner, we'll take action. Agreed?" I asked the others.

The girls all agreed as the guys are just staring at us confused.

"I wonder why they keep doing that?" I thought out loud.

" our lifestyle is hard to grasp for normal people." Levy mentioned.

" ohhh, right. I forgot that we're weird for a second." I then turned back to the kitchen. "Now it's time to cook, with out some idiots in the kitchen."

"Hey!" Jellal and Laxus shouted in offense.

I just giggled and went back to cooking.

At least for right now, I can smile. Even if it's just for a moment.

Lucy's pov.

I woke up in this dark place, I looked around and saw no one.

I felt my chest tighten up as my shoulders and feet felt heavy, out of panic, I began to call out for the others.

" Juvia?! Erza?! Mira?!...... Natsu?!.... anyone?" I screamed as I felt tears start to form as one escaped my eyes. "PLEASE!.....Answer me..... I'm scared."

The next thing I knew, light came.

I looked up smiling, only for my eyes to widen and my legs to shake in fear.

The light was coming from the stars.

I instantly see two people dead in front of me, my mom, and my dad. Both are shot and covered in blood.

" n-no...." I whimpered as my legs collapsed. I felt tears start to fall.

How can this get any worst?

" don't worry big sister."

I felt my heart sank when I heard that voice.

I turned around, only to she a scared Michelle, she had her eyes puffy from crying and was shaking in fear.

" Mi-Michelle...."

Is this real?

" it will all be over soon, those big guys say we'll get to see mommy and daddy again soon." She pointed at 3 men who were covered in shadows.

My eyes widen as Michelle held up a gun.

" Michelle! Put that down!" I screamed.

"Why? We don't belong here anymore. This is our chance to be reunited." She smiled

"No! You can't die! I-I need you." I felt tears slip out of my eyes, it became hard to see, I was sniffling, as I felt myself having trouble breathing.

" how selfish can you be?"

I felt my body go heavy as I soon was stuck to the ground.

No! Please!

" it's your fault we're in this mess."

I was using all my strength to try to push against the invisible force that kept me stuck to the ground.

Please, just let me do one right thing in my life.

"......Don't you want to redeem yourself after what happened?"

Yes! Of course I do!

I then heard a bang.

I gasped as I looked up, only to see Michelle on the floor, gun in hand, and massive bleeding coming from her leg.

".....please, for us." She mumbled.

The tears wouldn't stop, I was finally able to get up.

I ran over to her and I checked her pulse....

Nothing.

" Michelle, MICHELLE!!!! PLEASE MICHELLE!!!!!! DON'T LEAVE ME!!!!! I- I love you...."

"It's your turn." I heard a deep voice say.

I turned to see the three shadow figures holding guns.

I hugged Michelle tight.

No matter what. I'm not letting go.

I felt trouble breathing and my eyes widen as I heard the gun shots.

This is it, this is the end of the line.

" MICHELLE!!!!!" I screamed as I shot up from my sleep.

I began to take deep breathes as I was drenched in sweat. I then felt tears fall from my eyes.

It- it was a dream.....

And I still couldn't protect her....

"Lucy!" I heard a collected amount of voices shout.

I looked up to soon be surrounded by the girls.

The questions then began.

" are you ok?"

"What happened?"

" are you hurt?"

"Are you scared?"

So many questions, it made my head spin.

Erza then came in to the rescue.

" guys calm down before you make it worse."

I felt them all then go quiet as they stared at me.

I don't know why, but I began to cry even more.

Maybe it's because I don't want the same thing to happen for them. I don't want to be the cause of their pain.

"I-I'm fi-fine-" I started but was cut off.

" don't give us that bull sh*t!" I heard Juvia shout.

I felt my eyes widen in shock.

It's rare for Juvia to yell in this type of situation.

"Lucy, we're your friends. We can tell somethings wrong." Levy said sweetly.

The girls just nodded in reply.

I couldn't help but smile. I then wiped away my tears.

" thanks guys, I- I had a nightmare.... about them."

It went silent.

They all knew what that meant, so there was no need for further explanation. I don't think I could even say anymore.

" oh lu." Levy said as she hugged me.

I simply hugged back as I took deep breathes.

" are you feeling better?" Wendy asked.

" I am now." I told them.

"Good, because dinners almost ready, and the guys got some questions that we reaaaaaly need to answer." Mira said.

I just nodded and got up. As soon as I did I felt strong arms wrap around me as I was held close.

I saw a familiar salmon color.

Well, here's the second time today he surprised me.

"Na-Natsu?!" I said in shock.

I really didn't know what else to say.

" I was worried." He mumbled as he held me closer. I felt a slight blush as his hair was gently on my face.

It's so soft!

"Please, don't ever do that again, or at least tell me what's happening, your my friend." He said.

I couldn't help but smile as his grip loosen up. He was still holding me, but now I could see his face.

" thanks Natsu."

"Anytime Luce."

I then heard a cough behind me, I looked to see Juvia and Levy staring at us with some stupid grins.

I then looked down and blushed.

" uh, Natsu, can you let go of me?" I mumbled embarrassed.

" huh?! Oh, sorry Luce!" He said as he finally released me.

I sighed in relief as Levy and Juvia stared at me.

"I was worried." Levy mimicked in her attempt at a husky voice.

" sorry Luce." Juvia mimicked as she and and Levy began to laugh.

I just blushed and glared at them.

"You both are lucky your my friends and I'm still a bit shaken up from what just happened, or else I would have Lucy kicked you both to Australia!" I growled.

They both just continued to laugh.

But I couldn't help but smile.

This my home.

My home sweet home.

" anyway, can we start asking questions now bunny girl?" Gajeel loudly and inconsiderately asked.

I felt a bit angry, but I calmed down when I saw Levy.

This will be good.

" HOW INCONSIDERATE AND STUPID CAN ONE GUY POSSIBLY BE?!?!?!?! WE WERE HAVING A NICE MOMENT!!!!!!! YOU BIG STUPID METAL D*CK!!!!!" She shouted at him as she grabbed her purse and whacked him on the head with it. "Jerk!"

Gajeel then fell to the floor as Levy huffed.

I couldn't help but laugh.

Levy is definitely a type B tsundere.

I then saw Gajeel rubbing the spot where she hit him.

"Dang shrimp, what crawled up your @$$ and died?" He groaned.

" probably your brain cells. They keep on disappearing each time I see you." She glares at him.

I then had a idea hit me.

Time for a little pay back.

" alright break it up you two, your love quarrel can wait till after we answer the questions." I told them.

"We are not in love!" They shouted.

I just giggled as Mira sighed as she finished setting up the table.

" shall we finally begin the interrogation?" She asked.

" you make it sound like you're all criminals." Sting said.

" we prefer the term outlaws." Yukino joked in her monotone voice.

The guys where confused as Kagura sighed.

" she's joking."

We then all sat down for dinner preparing our selves for what happens next.

Gray's Pov.

(I love auto correct right now, I started writing gray and it showed up as gruvia!)

We were all grabbing a seat at the table, I looked around to see what seat was available, I saw one next to Juvia and quickly sat down.

"Hey" I gave her a smile.

She then gives me a nervous, worried look, then she looks down at the table and plays with her thumbs.

Are they really that worried about answering our question, how bad could it possibly be?

Mira interrupted my thoughts when she stood up and signaled everyone to listen.

"Ok, now that we are all seated, I need you guys to listen. Since we owe you guys answers, we'll do them one at a time, if we help each other answer the questions though, understand there's a good reason for that." Mira told us.

"Why?" Laxus spoke.

Mira looked a little shock, but Erza stood up as she was holding Kagura's hand.

"It's b-because of us." She stuttered with a slight blush.

What's this, why is she so timid.

I then saw her look at us and began to shake.

"I- I do-don't do w-well when it c-comes to public speaking." Erza finished, you could hear the nerves in her voice.

"Same." Was all Kagura added.

" ok, well then I'll ask the next question, what's with all the weird rules? And why do you all act so weird when we break them. Is it something to do with those guys?" I asked.

The girls stayed silent.

"Or is it something else..... like, the phobias?" Jellal asked.

All the girls eyes widen in surprised.

I then felt my eyes widen.

" W-wait, are  you saying some of you are afraid of those rules being broke?" Sting asked shock.

"Yes, and we would appreciate it if you wouldn't be so rude about it." Yukino glared at Sting, who responded by holding his hands up in defense.

I then looked at Juvia, remembering her screaming at the water, and falling out of the chair during class.

She had her head down with a worried look.

I then gather up enough courage to ask.

"Juvia, do you have a phobia?"

She didn't pick her head up, but she nodded yes.

I felt so confused. Is that why she acts so different around me then normal girls? Is she.... afraid of me.

"Gray, just so you know, all of us here, we all have phobias. And not your normal, I don't like spiders, or ghost scare me kind of phobias. " Lucy pointed out to me.

"We got our phobias through traumatic events in our past." Mira explained. "Those guys, we ran into them before, we all met each other trying to escape them. There is probably more people in our situation than us."

I look at the guys and they all had worried expressions, I probably do too.

What would you do, if someone up you've been having fun and been friendly with, tells you they experienced some bad things in the past and is being chased after.

I've heard the basics of Lucy, Wendy, and Levy, but I can't even imagine what the other girls have gone through!

"What exactly happened?" Natsu was brave enough to ask.

"Death." Lucy spat.

"Blood." Erza growled.

"Betrayal." Mira mumbled.

"Truth." Levy spat.

"H-Hurt." Wendy stuttered.

"Fear." Yukino whimpered

We look at them, I feel my heart aching as Kagura begins to cry a bit.

"I-I guess you would like to know what happened?" Mira stuttered.

This, this is insane,

These girls were singing, dancing, smiling, and having fun.

Mira is supposed to be a confident leader, but look at her.

I never thought they would be like this. It makes me scared about what's going to happen.

"Well, you already heard Levy and Wendy's story, so I'll go first, if that's alright with you guys, I feel like my story wasn't fully explained." Lucy gave us a sad smile.

We didn't reply.

"It was my birthday.... my family knowing we were in a lack of guards for safety, took time off for me... I was a distraction. They told me that I was like the stars, I brought luck and love into there life, and t-that.... t-they would always be wi-with me...." She was already sniffling.

I didn't like where this was heading.

"L-later that night, my house was under attack. 3 men came in. My brother called 911, but I was just being a distraction. (Gulp.) W-When t-the police came..... I.... I......" She began to cry as Levy held her. After a few minutes she finally calmed down. "Ahem, sorry..... I came down to find my parents shot and killed right before my eyes." She told us while tightening her grip on her shirt.

I felt my own eyes widen in horror.

T-that really happened?

"That's why, I cried at my mothers grave today. It's my fault they're dead-" she started.

"THATS NOT TRUE!"

I turn to see Natsu with a serious expression.

"She would never want you to think that!" He told her.

"Shut up! It is my fault whatever way you look at it! I took her words to heart! She died under the stars she said I was, she died because I messed around! She died because of me!" she began to sob. "I was separated from my sister and brother, left with these horrid memories, and this guilt!.... now whenever I see darkness, or I see the stars in the night sky, my mind goes back to that one night.... I see my parents dead faces, covered in blood. As guilt washes over me, cause I know, if I didn't do at least one of the things I did that night, they would still be here today." She began to cry as the girls hold her. "I- I, I have the fear of the night, I'm afraid of darkness, and I'm afraid of stars. I'm pathetic, I know. But this is me."

My heart sank when she finished. I then saw Natsu crying.... Natsu!

"L-Lucy-" he started.

"Natsu, I'm not in the mood for your nonsense." She spat as Levy hugged her.

Oof! That got to hurt.

I look over to make sure he's ok, he just gives me a sad look and sits back down.

" well, that's one down. Only 5 more to go..... whose next?" Mira asked.

Erza took a deep breathe in and then exhaled.

She was shaking as tears formed in her eyes.

" I-I, I wil-" Ezra started but never got to finish.

" wait! Please.... stop." Jellal shouted.

We were all shocked by his outburst.

" please, if it hurts you this much to remember. Then don't tell us now. The last thing I want is to see you all cry."  Jellal begged.

"Jellal! How are we able to help them and understand this mess if we don't know what happened?!" Gajeel shouted.

" I don't know! But you saw what happened to Lucy, I don't want that to continue to happen because we forced them to!" Jellal shouted.

Oh no, this is escalating fast.

I should probably say something.

"Maybe just tell us your fear, that way we are not completely in the dark." I mumbled.

" yeah! And you can then talk to us when your ready." Jellal sympathized.

Jellal looked at Gajeel for approval, he just sighed and nodded.

Good, it looks like things have calmed down.

I instantly see Ezra sigh in relief.

Looks like she was just putting on a brave face, that wasn't even so brave

"O-ok then. Thank you..... you s-see, I have the fear of public speaking, but it's m-more of an anxiety issue. I a-also d-do not do w-well when I'm too c-crowded, b-but at the same t-time, I-I'm to....." she paused for a second. She swallowed a bit of her nerves and took a few deep breaths to calm down. "I'm to afraid to be alone.... the only r-reason I was able to g-get in front of e-everyone back there, was because of adrenaline."

"E-Erza...." was all that was said.

"Don't pity us."

I turned to see Yukino with a scowl.

"W-we-" sting started.

"Save your pity for someone who actually cares. Excuse me for saying this, but you guys just met us a week ago, you think you know us well enough to pity us? You think we're friends?" She began to clench her fist.

"Yukino..." Kagura tried to calm her down.

"You don't know d@mn sh*t about us! You just walked in here and ruined our lives just a bit more, to think that's even possible! We don't want to be friends with people who pity us! It f*cking hurts! To think that they will only look at you with pity, not for who you are.... not even you can look at who you really are...." She began to felt some tears slip out.

It was silent, I saw Kagura give her a hug as she cried.

I was in complete and utter shock at what she said.

Is all were doing hurting them.

I turn to Juvia, I still remember our first time meeting, the look on her face after I tried to shake her hand.

It was fear.

"Why?"

Me and the guys all looked up.

"If you give me a good reason why, then I will drop it." Yukino said.

"Why what?" Gajeel asked confused.

"Why do you care?" She asked.

That moment my mind went blank.

I don't even know the answer.

Sting's pov.

"Why?"

Why do I care,

Just why?

I also ask myself this question.

This girl interest me for some reason.

A new girl who never cared about what others said or did to her, she sat right next to me, hurting.

I would like to think I cared because she was hurt.

But that's not true.

If it was, I would have helped out others so much in my past.

I would of helped out her.....

But that was a different time......

But I do know one thing.

This girl has caught my interest and I don't know how.

All of this following her around is for my own selfish wants.....

Because I care, I get carried away with it.

But how can I answer the question......

All I can think of is the guilt of the truth.

" I would say, it's because of our own selfish wants." Rogue mumbled.

We all looked at him.

"I wanted to meet you girls, mainly because in my past I have seen people hiding from pain. You hide it well, but the better you hide it, the worst it feels holding it in. I want to help you. Because of not only my past mistakes, but I would like to think it's also because I care. You girls are so different from everyone. Anyone can tell, but you are sweeter, funnier, and have the brightest smiles compared to anyone I've ever met. Today we've seen you hurt, panic, angry, but we also saw you happy and there for each other. I would love to help you guys if that's who you truly are." He paused for a moment, he then looked Yukino straight in the eye. "The reason I- no we want to help, is because, we've seen bad people, and we know your not a bad person." He finished.

I took a deep breath in.

Rogue is right, but I need to speak up to.

Because whether or not I started to do this for my own selfish reasons, I now care.

"I would regret knowing I could have done something, if anything ever happened to any of you." I told Yukino. "Is that a good enough reason?" I asked.

I just looked up to all the girls in shock.

Some where crying, and others where speechless.

I looked at Yukino.

She was crying, but she had a small smile as she nodded her head.

"Yes, that's a great reason. I'm sorry it's just..." She bit her lip.

I then began to stare at her lips.

They look so sof-

I start to blush as I catch myself.

"I have trouble trusting people. I kinda think I'm to unworthy to have people care about me, let alone friends. It kinda goes with my phobia, I have a fear of failure, a fear of imperfection, and weakness. I feel like I'm all of these things, so everyone around me will get hurt or disappeared...." she explained.

This started to make sense, what happened in class on the first day was because of her fears.

Oh my mavis, she must of have a awful past to feel that way about her self.

I clenched my fist.

Who ever did this will pay.

"Yukino, that's not true! You don't hurt others who are around you!" I tried to reason with her.

"It kinda is, by you just meeting me, you ended up getting in this mess, and now you are gonna be hunted down by assassins." She explained.

"What?!" I shouted out of shock.

W-wait. I'm gonna be what now.

"Yukino! We were supposed to tell them when we got more information." Mira whined.

"Oops." She said plainly.

"Ugghhhhh!" Mira groaned.

"This is all so confusing!" Romeo shouted.

"Don't worry, we will explain everything." Mira sighed while balancing her forehead in her palm.

"You promise?" Natsu asked kinda desperate.

I can't blame him though, everything just keeps on getting more complex and weird by the second.

"We promise, right girls?" Erza asked.

They all just nodded.

"Cross my heart and hope to die...."

"Yukino!!!!!!" Lucy screamed panicked.

"......Stick a needle in my eye." She said with a small smile as Kagura face palmed and sighed.

"You're such a weirdo."

"I know."

They just genuinely smiled at each other.

I couldn't help but chuckle at their antics.

"Ok, I-I guess I'll go next....." Kagura gulped.

I then see Rogue a bit tense.

"Ihavethefearofbeingwatchedandthefearofshadowsandimafraidofdeath......" she quickly stated.

"W-what?" I heard laxus ask from behind me.

"She's afraid of shadows, being watched, and death. So don't stare at her." Yukino stared plainly as Kagura hid behind her.

"Oh..." me and the guys all said in unison.

I saw Rogue look confused.

"Shadows?" He questioned a bit nervous.

"Y-Yeah...." Kagura stuttered.

"So what? Got a problem with that?" Yukino defensively stated.

"Nope, not at all."

It then went quiet again.

"Ok, Juvia guesses Juvia will go next....." She began to look around nervous as she blushed.

I saw Gray straighten up, it looks like she caught his attention.

"J-Juvia's phobia is weird...... Juvia is afraid of......" she paused.

The pause just made the scene even more dramatic.

What is it? Spit it out!

Her face turn dark red.

"Juvia is afraid if water and the cold!" She shouted flustered.

What?

"What?" Romeo asked out loud, just like he was reading my mind.

She then covered her face as Lucy walked over to her and hugged her.

The girls then circled around them and applaud her.

"Good job Juvia."

"You go girl!"

"Own it! Woo!"

"How are you afraid of water? Don't you need to drink and shower?" I asked as I finally managed to put my thoughts into words.

She just blushed as tears formed in her eyes and made upset noises.

"Eeeeeeeeehhhhhhh!" She cried.

"You jerk!" Mira glared at me.

"W-what did I do?"

The girls all gave me a cold stare and hugged Juvia.

"J-Juvia drinks juice! And Smoothies! And Gatorade! And Juvia is a clean person! She nearly has a panic attack showeriiiing." She cried.

Mira and Erza had a dark aura as they glared at me.

......I should have kept to myself.

"Shh... there there Juvia, we all understand the struggles of life." Lucy said as she coddled her.

She glares at me.

" I'm sorry." I apologized.

They just glared at me for a few more seconds as Juvia began to sniffle, but stopped when she calmed down.

Note to self.

Juvia is very emotional.

"So now that Juvia went, all that's left is Mira."

And again, for who knows how many times today, there was a awkward silence.

Finally after a few minutes, the silence was broken with a fake cough from Rogue.

"Soooooo......." Laxus started.

"Well, if you all must know..... I have a fear of lightning....."

"Tha-that's not bad! Lots of people are afraid of lightning and thunder Mira! It's completely Norm-"

"I'm also afraid of falling in love."

Laxus eyes widen as some of us gasped.

Whoa, did not see that coming.

Now I feel bad for Laxus.

"......."

"What?" She asked us in a offended tone.

"N-nothing, we just didn't expect that, that's all!" Romeo said in shock.

"And we didn't expect you to stalk us, you never know what a person is like, do you?" She said in a sassy tone as she glared at Romeo.

For crying out loud! Again with the stalking! They are the ones who walked away from us and wouldn't answer us! What where we suppose to do. Leave them be after they fought, cried, and talked about a horrifying past right in front of us?! Even if it sounds like the right thing to do, no person would do that! I'm sorry, but I'm reality, people don't care about privacy! And we were curious! Give us a break!

I was gonna continue to rant in my head, but I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

I turned to see pictures of the girls, but they seemed a lot younger.

"H-how long have you known each other." I asked.

"Oh thank mavis we get to finally change the topic." Levy sighed in relief.

" Well, lets see, if me and Erza are 18 now....... we all met 7 years ago, but individually it's all over the place." Mira explained.

I then saw Jellal began to choke on his drink as Natsu did a spit take.

" whoa, whoa, whoa, how long have you had your phobias for anyway?" Jellal asked.

"Well I believe me and Yukino had them the latest? Right Yukino?"

"Right Mira."

"Sooooooo..... I believe at oldest 8 years old, youngest 4- no 5 years old." Mira explained.

My jaw dropped in shock.

They got there phobias that young! How long have they been living like this, wh-why would someone torture these girls.

I felt guilt wash over me and saw the guys felt the same way. I turn back to see the girls with sad smiles.

"It's ok, we are use to this type of life, but we have each other, and that's what matters." Wendy smiled.

"N-Now who's hungry, I for one, c- could eat 20 cakes right now!" Erza shouted.

" oh right, speaking of cake." Kagura went into the fridge and grabbed out a strawberry cake. "Here's the cake I promised you at the beginning of the week."

Erza's face lit up and her eyes had stars in them.

"Oooooooh!" She began to scream.

"Oh god no." I heard Kagura sigh.

The next I see is that all the girls covered there ears.

Why would they-

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Erza jumped up and tackled Kagura.

"WHoa!" Kagura shouted as her voice cracked a bit.

They then fell onto the ground.

" Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo so much Kagura! Your the best sister ever! I love you!" Erza shouted.

"..........."

"You actually have a fear of public speaking?" Natsu asked

"Natsu!!!!" I shouted with the others.

Erza then gave him a sad look as she blushed.

" I-I was excited..... I get a-adrenaline when I hear the word cake....." she blushed even harder after saying that.

Her and Kagura then got up and hid behind there friends.

Ok, this might take some getting use to.

"Shhh, there there Erza, guys are just stupid insensitive jerks. There's nothing to be ashamed about loving cake." Levy said in a comforting tone as she rubbed her head.

"Hey!" I heard Natsu, Gray, and Gajeel all shout in unison.

"Oh shut it! You all know it's the truth." Mira growled at them.

Why does it feel like we can never win with these girls.

After a few minute of chatting, and asking questions, we finished dinner.

"Now what?" I heard Gray ask.

It went silent, I saw the girls have a worried look on there face.

What's wrong?

"Don't freak out when we tell you this." Yukino said.

Please, how bad could it be, we've seen a lot of stuff today, I'm honestly getting bored from the suspense.

"You need to forget you've ever met us." Mira said.
