Logline:

In a land where dragons must split themselves into separate entities of Light and Shadow, silver dragon Magnus teams up with dwarf warrior Hilda and human wizard Kara to confront the Shadowfolk looking to reclaim the lives of their counterparts.

Rating:

As always, I'm going to be treading that PG-15 tightrope of lots of swearing, but not as crass as Deadpool; some intimacy, but no sex scenes; some violence and threat, but no horror. The tone vacillates between satirical fantasy for comic relief and dark fantasy.

TL; DR: I'm pantsing this baby live, so watch out!

This is a raw unedited draft that I'm posting live. That means you'll probably find lots of typos, inconsistencies, and flaws in the plot lines/pacing. But I've found that if I think too much in the drafting phase, my anxiety gets the better of me, and I don't finish it.

In addition, I'm trying third-person narration properly for the first time. (I've tried it before with limited success.) That means I might engage in some cardinal sins like head-hopping and POV errors. I'll fix these in the editing phase.

The POV will cycle among Andor, Kara, and Magnus. Each chapter is told from one of the three points of view as the story progresses sequentially. (So, not Rashomon-style narration). This ONC I'm really testing myself and experimenting.

So please don't mind me, pantsing away and writing rubbish. After I'm finished with the crazy draft, I'll go back and reformulate it into an actual story. You know, with a plot, actual character arcs, and everything! :D

Until then, buckle your seatbelts for a lot of wacky ideas that make little sense.
