18 months later

Cat Noir point of view

The war is still going on. Lila is still lying. Alya is no longer Marinette's friend. Neither is Nino. Slowly, the class is choosing Lila over Marinette. He has been visiting Marinette for close to two years now and has developed feelings for her, but he still loves Ladybug. 

Ladymoth is out there. Ladybug and Cat Noir knew her identity- Lila- but they can't prove it. She's still trying to akumatized Marinette, but can't with Adrien always cheering her up. 

Cat Noir decided to talk to Ladybug. Marinette was stressed.

There were two new members of the miraculous team. Dracon-Luka- and Bunnix- Alix. Neither of them believed the lies Lila told. They are great team members.

Cat Noir won't admit to being jealous that Marinette seems to like Luka, and Kagami has moved on from Adrien. She doesn't believe Lila either. He shook his head, disappointed that Lila had taken such a dark turn.

One month Later

Lila point of view

Lies. Deceit. She fed on those things. The more she lied, the more everyone believed her. Alya no longer trusted Marinette. Nor did Nino. She was on her way to turning everyone else against Marinette. Except for Ladybug, Cat Noir, Marinette, Adrien, Alix, Kagami and Luka.

It seems like Ladybug knows more than she should. Ladymoth smiled. Maybe an akuma would make her rival even angrier. She chose Alya as her victim. She was still angry at Marinette for her so-called "lies." Perfect! She sent the akuma away.

Ladymoth smirked. What an oblivious little idiot! A simple google search could disprove any of her lies. But they were all to stupid. Except for those selected few.

Since they knew how manipulative she was, and that she was Ladymoth, she couldn't risk being out in the open as her villainous self.

Alya would know soon enough what it meant to be betrayed, though she thinks she already does. She laughed to herself. What an idiot!

Marinette's point of view

Maman looked at her. "Are you okay?" She asked.

Marinette shook her head slowly. She never kept secrets from her parents anymore. "Alya thinks I somehow blackmailed Ladybug." She told her.

The shared a laugh at the irony. "That is hilarious. You blackmailed. yourself? That's a new one! If she finds out, she'll never live it down."

Marinette nodded. "By the way, Cat Noir and I are staying at a friend's house. You know, where we usually go."

Maman smiled. "That's okay. Tom and I will be fine for one night." She told her daughter. "How is the situation with the liar?"

"Still the same," Marinette told her.  "I'm losing all of my friends, except for Alix, Kagami, Adrien, Luka and Cat Noir."

"This kind of situation shows who your true friends are," Maman said. "I really thought Alya was a true friend. I am sorry we were wrong."

Suddenly, an akuma was present. The two of the knew what would happen if her mom was akumatized. Marinette caught the akuma. To her surprise, it was purified.

Tikki point of view

When the akuma entered the room, she transferred some of her powers over to her holder. When Marinette caught the akuma, it was purified immediately. 

Marinette was surprised. "Tikki, how did that happen?" She asked. 

"I transferred some of my powers over to you," Tikki answered. "You can always purify akumas with or without the mask now."

Marinette smiled gratefully. "Thanks," Marinette told her. "You are the best!"

Tikki giggled. "If you had Plagg, you would have destroyed it when you touched it." 

Marinette looked horrified. "That's horrible!" Then, she thought for a moment. "But if it stops an akuma, I suppose..." Marinette shook her head. "We have to go meet Cat Noir, Tikki!" 

Her mom said, "I'll see you tomorrow, sweetie!" They hugged. 

Marinette transformed. "I love you, Maman!" She made it to the house 10 minutes early. Cat Noir was already there. "Hey, kitty!" She greeted. 

"Alya wants to meet with us and Marinette" He told her. Uh oh!

Hello. My name is Casey Tsurugi. I am a miraculous holder with the ability of invisibility and stealth. My miraculous is the necklace I never take off. Shadow is my kwami. He is loyal, playful and kind. I give him all of my attention. I have never used my power before. There has never been a need. Now, there is. My family and I are moving to Paris from the small town of Brunswick, Ga. I won't be leaving anything behind, so I leave without saying goodbye to anyone.
