It was another fine day for Lin and Puro, at least for now, Puro was reading a book.

"Blah blah blah." Puro spoke, "I get it, humans are smart and intelligent, so I won't have to worry about him that much." he added and contiuned reading, but a few more moments and then he was astonished.

"Ouch!" Lin yelped from another room, connected to Puro's room.

"Human?!" Puro gasped and dropped the book, then looked at the door and book, "Impossible." he finished and ran to his best friend's side.

"Human?! You alright?!" Puro asked with his white eyes, wide open.

"Yeah... I am Puro." Lin said and held his hand in pain, he grunted and sighed as Puro hugged him, which made him freeze.

"Puro." Lin spoke, "What are you doing?" he asked

"Isn't this what human's do for comforting their friends and loved ones?" Puro asked as he looked at Lin.

"Uh.... Yes?" Lin guessed, he wasn't sure, but it did feel comforting.

Puro hugged him for quite while until Lin wanted to break loose.

"Something wrong, human?" Puro asked as he looked at Lin.

"Can you let me go?" Lin asked, which Puro nodded and let Lin go.

"Puro... Can I ask you something?" Lin asked, as he followed Puro to his bed and book piles.

"Yes, human?" Puro asked, stopping and turned around to look at Lin, curiously.

"Where did you learn to read?" Lin asked.

Puro shrugged, "It just felt natural to me for some reason."

"Okay." Lin said, he sat on Puro's bed, Puro sat next to him, wrapping his gooy tail around his friend.

Lin couldn't help but to pet Puro's ears, he thought it was cute, thankfully Puro didn't mind, and the two went to sleep.
