Relapse.

When people think of this word,
The first thing that comes to mind is
Addiction.

And it's the kind of addiction,
That gains power from drugs, or alcohol.

No one ever thinks of the addiction to the blade
Or the addiction of isolation.

No one ever thinks about the addictive nature
Of silence.

The addiction of darkness,
Of the beauty in being broken.
No one ever thinks about how addicting it is
To be alone.

Depression is addicting.
Darkness is addicting.
Silence and Pain are probably more so.

So when someone relapses into these,
And the thoughts of death start to arrive....

It's is very rare indeed,
For someone to survive.
