You walked next to Kion, you were with the Lion Guard joining them on their journey to the Tree of Life. Kion wanted you to come with them since you've been friends with the young lion since he was little. You were there to keep an eye on him to keep him out of trouble. Kion growled as he stopped to rub his scarred eye.

"You alright, Kion?" You asked him softly. He stopped and looked up to you. He weakly smiled at you. "Yes, I'm fine," Kion said rubbing his scar again.

You gave him an unsure look seeing him rub his eye again. "Is your scar bother you?" You asked your friend. "No, it's not. I'm fine." Kion growled a bit. You stepped back a bit from the young lion hiding behind Beshte. "You know, Kion is starting to scare me." You said.

"Yeah, maybe Kion is starting to turn evil," Bunga said. You and Fuli rolled your eyes at the Honeybadger's comment. "Kion's not going to turn evil, Bunga," Fuli said. "Yeah, he's our friend," Beshte said. "Beshte's right, Bunga. Kion's not going to turn evil." You said.

"But, didn't you hear what Rafiki said. If the venom stays in him too long, he won't be able to tell right from wrong." Bunga said. (a/n: even tho that's not how that works!!!! 😑).

You shook your head unamused and looked over to Kion, who was rubbing at his scar. "Makini? I think Kion needs some tuliza." You said. "On it!" Makini said. Kion growled once Makini got close. "I don't need it! I'm fine!" Kion yelled.

You frowned. "Kion, your scar is bother you. We're just trying to help." You said to him. "I don't need help, Y/n!" Kion growled. "Fine! I guess you don't need me then!" You snapped back. Kion bared his teeth at you. "See what I say, evil." Bunga said.

I'm. Not. Evil!" Kion exclaimed. That's when Makini jumped in. "Shwari, Kion. Have some tuliza." She said. Kion took the tuliza from Makini and smiled feeling better. "Thanks, Makini." Kion said.

Kion looked over at you, his ears flattened, ashamed of what he said to his friend. "Y/n, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-." Kion was cut off by you. "It's okay, Kion. Your scar hurts. But next time, please let us help you. That's what we're here for." You said smiling at him.

"Asante, Y/n." Kion said smiling back at the young human girl. "Hakuna shida, Kion." You said.

A/n: Hakuna shida means No problem in Swahili
